Keeta looked up suddenly, having heard a thud come from the bathroom. Frowning she looked towards the living room where she had left Joel playing with some toys, but he still seem occupied and nothing he had could have made a noise like that.

Did someone come through the mirror? "I wonder....." she said aloud as she rounded the corner into the hallway and opened the bathroom door. She gasped as soon as it was opened, seeing Rhine sitting there like that.

"Geeze, you almost gave me a heart attack there! A little warning would have been nice..." she said before walking forward and giving him a hug.

Keeta raised an eyebrow and looked at him curiously.

"Are we now? And where might we be going? Cause if I know you it's no where I want to go dressed like this..." she said sweeping an arm downward to indicate her attire. Keeta had been about to do some heavy cleaning in the kitchen and so her hair was up in a loose ponytail and she had on a grubby old t-shirt and jeans.

Keeta sighed resignedly. There would be no point in arguing. She was going to change her clothes though. Ducking out of the bathroom she headed the rest of the way down the hall to her bedroom and started stripping off her shirt and jeans. She left the door open, not really caring if he followed. It wouldn't be anything he hadn't seen before.

"So you arranged all this behind my back, babysitting and everything?" she asked, quickly grabbing a simple knee-length black skirt and blue top with black sequins along the collar from the closet, throwing them on. She pulled her brush off the dresser and started pulling it through her hair as she dug through the drawers for her suit. It was nice that he wanted to suprise her, but she hated being caught unprepared.

She paused and just enjoyed his arms around her for the moment, letting him calm her. Why did a surprise frazzle her so much? Keeta sighed and took a deep breath, turning to watch him as he left the room. Only a moment later, she found her swimsuit. Stuffing it into a large purse, she followed him out of the room a minute later, heading for the nursery to grab Joel's diaper bag.

"I just don't like the thought of forgetting something that I or Joel need," she had responded to his statement, before being pulled though the mirror. Now on the island, she smiled at Ceres as she approached.

"I hear you've been convinced to babysit," she said with a wry smile, wondering if Ceres really minded or not.

Keeta's stomach started to get a few butterflies at the way Ceres was talking. What was going on here?!? She was just about to press Ceres for information, but before she could get the words out of her mouth, Ceres was gone and Joel with her. Slightly perturbed, she turned to Rhine.

"Ok Mr. Mysterious, so what's the big charade about?"

Keeta half considered being difficult to see if she could convince him to tell her what was going on, but it seemed like she would find out soon enough. She just wasn' t big on surprises. Taking her purse to the bathroom, she quickly changed into her suit, complete with it's matching sarong. Then she pulled the brush through her blue hair one more time.

Putting the brush down, she studied herself in the mirror a moment, thinking about the past and all the things that had changed in little more than a year. It was almost difficult to remember what she looked like with her hair dyed brown and she looked healither than she had before. Joel...and all the things that had followed, while unplanned, had utimately changed her life for the better and she wouldn't change a thing. Smiling as she remembered the 'good thing' waiting outside for her, she decided not to give Rhine too difficult a time about surprising her like this. After all, his intentions were good. With one last glance in the mirror, she headed outside wondering what waited for her there.
