I'm a fantasy geek by far. Especially the Wizards of the Coast books by R.A. Salvatore. If no one has read them I highly recommend The Dark Elf Trilogy. It's all about, surprise, dark elves. One in particular. But Salvatore does a great job painting this dark world full of deciet and betrayal.
Oh and not to stay too topical... Kill all hoomans!

I love fantasy and dark fantasy. Sci-fi really isn't my thing; I prefer straight-up horror. In my little corner of the world (or at least I wish), lakes are of blood, and killing is fun. Not to mention that I can be as emo or as lolita as I want, and no one cares.

I'm into the fantasy stuff. Any kind of creature that is similar to elves, vampires, and werewolves I will probably like unless it's completely gruesome. biggrin

You Just described dark fantasy. I'm not correcting it's just True fantasy is mostly an unrealistic goodness that denies people worth as individuals. We die for the you and for no reasons of our own. how can you value others enough to die for them if you don't value yourself. I not a good member of society but I'm right as a person. I may die to save someone but it will be because it's something I feel right about doing not some sense of goodness. Any way that is my problem with true fantasy and Why can't dwarves, gnomes and other humanoids have elf or human lovers. The only book that had an unusual paring was Grunts In it the main Orc character had a halfling thief wife ( she use to be a prostitute and madam)

We're not all going to die because others think we should. In fact, many of us wouldn't. The only race I have problems with interracial marriage is my own, and that's just because vampires, especially purebloods, are dying out. If purebloods aren't there to make sure things are as peaceful as they should, we get humans getting eaten left and right. And even that case is debatable, because once a vampire falls in love, only that person's blood will do.

Rifts if u have a good game master - it should be an option by itself.
I like the fantasy stuff & Rifts. I used to like D&D, but that was before they changed everything. I don't like the changes, it is too complicated.
