Internal Investigation
Placed in charge of the discreet and public investigation of criminals within the Seireitei as well as their ensuing crimes, Tenth Division's chief responsibility is to ensure the peace of the Court of Pure Souls is maintained via use of texts and offenses, acting as an "archive" squad, Division Ten also has responsibility to retain all texts concerning past offenses both convicted and pardoned. Division Ten is first of the three Court Squads requested in an investigation concerning those in the Seireitei, they are also informally the "interrogation" squad and is responsible for the interrogating and assigning of criminals to the separate courts as well as providing an adequate case before the Judicial squads, as such Division Ten is well-renowned for having the most amount of paperwork to sort through as a Shinigami's trial is based upon their background and specific status and both must be researched thoroughly before an official appeal to the courts can be issued.
