Division Nine
Judiciary Squad
Outside of the Council 46, Division Nine has supreme Judiciary control over the committed crimes of Shinigami and Ryoka alike. Primarily created to look after the affairs of state concerning the extensive districts of Rukongai, the number of Squad individuals in comparison to the sheer number of residents makes the cases that eventually make it to the Ninth Division of a high priority and in sheer volume Division Nine remains one of the busiest of all the Divisions, in court, this division is granted the freedom to strip any Shinigami so long as the presiding Captain is present of rank, freedom, sword and life, with such a heavy responsibility and tasks to weigh, members of this squad are chosen carefully, the Captain in-particular has to be very conscious of his or her actions directly involving his fellow Shinigami, while Captain and Vice-Captain executions have to be agreed upon and send to Council 46 for approval, un-seated members may be executed so long as their respective Captain agrees to the execution itself.
