Oh Em Gee....I was on a band trip last Saturday. We left the compie at about 12, and were in the bus for about 3 hours because of traffic...Geez, I swear to you, they were pumping some kind of gas into that bus...
So, we were about an hour away from home, and this REALLY hot drum section leader came and totally sat on me...well, maybe I pulled hium onto my lap, but that's another matter. I swear I was going to rape him senseless. All the chaperones were asleep too. Man oh man, I almost had his pants off. nd if you know me, then that's REALLY phsychotic, because I'm so mild mannered and, well...mormon.
There was mooning, and groping, and full body masages...I love marching band. blaugh

Wellll...The entire front half of the bus on the way home from our festival a few weeks back was laughing the entire time on a 45 minute bus ride, talking about absolutely random things.

Yeah, my drum major and drum captain are smoking hot too, I like band geeks. rofl
Anyway, on the way home, if we are not too tired and/or we placed, we sing our field show while the drum majors conduct it. Me and my drum major conducted it on our way home last weekend.
Man, I remember one comp last year that we didn't place. Almost dead silence. eek

Haven't really had any crazy bus rides, but we went to state last year and we were on the bus for about 2 hours. It was really fun.

We had to switch to two same-sex buses for a while because one of the colorguard flashed a trucker.
My percussionist boyfriend and I always end up making out on the bus. Every time, I guarantee. We're lucky the field commanders haven't caught us yet. sweatdrop
Oh, and there was this one time when my sister was in marching band when they had this busdriver that they absolutely despise, and her friend brought a change of clothes--including a lacy bra and thong-- and proceeded to throw item by item to the front of the bus, wailing things like, "Oh, YES! OHH! You dirty, dirty boy!" The busdriver pulled the bus over on the freeway to find the culprit, but my sister's friend never was caught. xd

The bus was stopped at a stop light and a car drove past and honked it's horn. This lady was screaming and jumping up and down with a bathing suit top pulled down... I was unfortunate enough to look at the car when it honked it's horn >.<

Whenever we return back to our school after a game or competition we sing the bus drive song "Three cheers for the busdriver, busdriver, busdriver, Three cheer for the Busdrive, busdrive Man (Lady)! He/She smokes and He/She curses and wrecks all the buses! Three cheers for the busdriver, busdriver Man." Some of them don't take it too well though sweatdrop . Also, I can't tell you how many times me and the Saxaphone Section leader had to call a Handcheck so Shane (Saxaphone) would stop molesting our drum major....I don't think she was just about as happy as the bus driver was after we him the song.

well we have 7 buses cuz we have so many kids so you could imagine...
when we were on our way to a local competition there was a rumor going around though that a senior flute gave a guy a handjob on the back of bus 5

Nothing really that crazy. All we do in our bus is sing on the top of our lungs when our BD isn't in the bus yet. Sucks having to sit in the first bus where all the band parents and the BD sits.

One time, our bus had to stop outside a school for a competition because we couldn't go inside because it was and indoor competition and not all the bands would fit. The guard always brings a radio on the bus, so we had a guard dance party! It was pretty funny...

I don't think I've had that much crazyness.. but one percussionist mooned the BD in the car behind us. Twas funneh!!! The other thing funny that happened this year was i layed on two of my friends in one bus seat.. it was halarious.. they kept pokin me in weird places.. and then after one bus ride we always dress on the same bus, and i was in my bra and undies and a guy in his boxer's air humped me.. it was funny.. i freaked out..

Well when we went to Washington D.C. two years for the Inependace Day Parade I sat in the back of the non-band directer bus....it was very odd.
First time on the bus me and my 2 friends were playing my electic OUtburst game, soon everyone in the back was playing and this guy Kyle (sax) played a round and when I told him he only got 8/10 he was mad and screming "This game is lame! I'm always right!"
Next day we had an extra person on our bus so Jason (drum major for next year) didn't have a seat so his friends Andrew (clarinet) and Chincken (sax) said to sit with them. Charter buses aren't made for 3 to a seat so he just lays on them. Eventually they changed positions and for the next 2 days we say limbs flying and...sounds.
Then their was my friends middle school things. From the back of the bus on the way home from festive some girl yelled to the directer, "Mr. Gohn, what's a boner?"

WEll one day on the way to a compition we were running late because we missed our exit by about forty miles so we endede up taking a twenty mile shortcut throug dirt raods where you could only go twenty with tractor crossings all over. WEll we still weren't there when we were supposed to be warming up. SO the BD called co-ed buses. But this was the moment where you could tell the sluts freom everyone else. All the slutty girls got ontop of the busseats and threw off there clothes. WEll nobody not even their motheres want to see that. SO as we were throwing hat boxes to the back of the bus one would always manage to hit them in the head. But the best part was I called if you don't want to see donn't look SO then every one looked at my sexy bod. yes. Also on the way home from another comp, there was some truth or dare which involved some stripping fun times. I would go into more detail but what happens on the busride home from (insert band comp here). Stays on the bus ride home from (insert same band comp here).

All of our bus trips are crazy. The chaperones play family feud and other random games with us and on the way home it's a tradition to sing random songs until we're about halfway back to the school, then the whole bus starts singing Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody". I'm the designated "scary storyteller" so depending on how many people wanna hear stories, I tell whatever I can think of. One trip we had to cut a rubber band out of one of the clarinet player's hair and last year people kept forgetting their instruments and had to try and learn to play other ones on the bus (which proves that woodwinds and brass players play their designated instruments for a reason in our band. ^-^) The longest trip so far was the trip to Smithsonvalley and was, oddly enough, one of the calmest.
There's a 3 hour bus trip to Laredo on Friday so I'm sure I'll have some crazy stories to tell after that. biggrin

Oh, crazy bus rides...ours have been...mild, so far but...I've got stories. Over the summer, when we went to D.C. for the Independence Day Parade, (and that's almost 2 days on the bus) that was one crazy bus ride. On the way there, there were people laying in the aisles (i kept kicking one of em, I didn't like him anyways.) but they got in trouble for it. And there were 2 charter buses, and both of the drivers were named Tom. And they both smoked!! lol so the one who drove our bus most of the way, we named him Turbo Tom. The other one, they named Terribly Tweaking Tom and other...interesting names. Turbo Tom was awesome!! And we actually saw Terrible Tom at our state competition!! Lol good times.
Then, when we were driving through D.C., we saw a drug bust. One of the guys (The only black guy in band, and YES he knows it...he plays trumpet and he is sooo awesome!! He's one of the three, including me, who are trying out for the Dubuque Colts. And I'm learning baritone!! So proud) and he yells, real loud, "You've just witnessed a throw down!" it was hilarious!! Yeah...and then, couples were sitting across the aisles (because girls were on one side of the bus, guys on the other.) so there was this couple behind me...and the guy is especially disgusting...can't stand him, but she's cool...but they were just slobbering all over eachother during the whole trip...gawd get a room. yeah...I'm sure I'll have more stories after our pep band trip to state college BBall game!! biggrin
