ok our theme this year was common ground and it was pretty cool but kinda boreing to watch, but next year the band director is comming up with the stupidest themes like the incredibles.....what the hell is he thinking?! when i told him that he decided to change it to fire and ice which is kinda better but i wanna know whats the dumbest theme you guys have had for marching band theme.

The Incredibles? I saw a band here do that once. It was good.

Actually, the Incredibles Movie was good, it would be kick a** to play it.
The dumbest theme I can think off.... well, last year my director thought the music sounded to him like a boy growing up. Which is great and all, but he really got into it and even started wondering if one could reflect him marrying and having kids. The horrific part was that the song he was reffering to was the fight song of the show. Luckily, us leaders managed to talk him out of it. sweatdrop

The dumbest theme I did was songs from The Who. I've heard a bunch of highschool and college bands do the incredibles. Kinda old now

The Incredibles?? That'll be interesting.. I wanna do Star Wars sooooo bad, but I don't think my wish will ever happen. I only have one more chance at it, being a Junior.

I've seen the Incredibles done a quite a few times, but I think I saw one of the best tonight, the field commander had an Incredibles super suit.

Pie Please The Incredibles? I saw a band here do that once. It was good. Omg! ya someone here in arizona did it but it was really sweet cuz i think they had 4 specialy chalanged people on thier guard and in the middle the went off stage and got into the costumes and ran around pretending the fight the other guard members

....Dumbest marching band theme. when the band director has someone right an original piece for your show. It makes the whole show look stupid. (Pending the guy writing is a nimrod.)

Oh god. I totally saw that show done. That show is really complicated to march...and play. The theme song for it is really fast...I think my BD said it was about 160something...maybe around 180. I was all oh god. We can barely do 148 like our first song was....Just sayin... Prepare for hell at band camp if you do that show...

Our band did the Incredibles.. It was crazy. We had fun tho. We used our school uniforms as usual, we never change our uniforms.. And we wore zoro masks.. That was fun tho. We always try to incooperate glitter somehow tho. Otherwise the dumbest theme was into the fire last year.. it was really gay..

The two stupidest band show themes I've ever seen both came from my own band. In '04 we did "Ants," which was cute but corny as hell. This year, we did "Squares," which was a really lame theme, but turned out to be a cool show anyway.

Our show this year was "It's about time" im so sick of hearing clocks tick it gets on my nerve >.< and playing bari sax in a marching band its uber hard (espically when u started playing it just the day you started)

Prepare for hell at band camp if you do that show... our finishing song was taken at 172 for a while (Russian Christmas). We ended up not keeping it but when we did it...wow. I saw a band do this bizarre school theme. They had somebody narrating it. I was really disappointed because the band is one of my favorites.

We did a karaoke show for one of our biggest games of the season... It was meant to mock the other team which it did but it still was teh best shitty show i've ever done!

I LOVED the incredibles show that (collins hill? seminole hs?) did at the BOAs in Atlanta. A very amusing and exciting show.
I did see fire and ice though. A band did that. It was by Tim Hinton, right?
