Get struggled to remain airborne as he flew clumsily through the trees. He had found a pair of humans recklessly cutting away at the forest, making a game out of tearing down shrubs and small trees, and Get had decided that they had needed a lesson. What Get had not known was that one of the humans possessed a Scyther, which had quickly attacked him, giving little time for retaliation. As it was, the two humans had been disappointed when Get had escaped, though he would not consider this a true escape. He had obtained multiple deep wounds, one along the length of his wing, and several other around his body and head.

Get's vision was slightly blurry, and his sense of location appeared to have been affected. His flight path veered to the right, and he narrowly missed a collision with a tree. He pumped his wings again, crying out as his injured right wing continued to burn from the effort.

He had to get somewhere safe so that he could rest. Then, he would go back and teach those kids a thing or two. He would be ready, and a good Twister from the bushes should send them running. His wing scrubbed a branch, scraping twigs along his wound. The wing collapsed for a moment, but in that moment, Get's path veered, steering him straight into the trunk of a rather large tree.

Get hit the ground disoriented, he could barely see straight, but he could smell a human. The cursed beast would likely come in and attempt to attack him while he was obviously incapacitated. There was no choice, he would have to fight, even in this condition. He attempted to stand, but his left leg collapsed beneath him. The human would win.. perfect. It was just like fate to do something of this sort.

Adriel stared at the pidgey before him with some fascination at the bird's stubbornness to try to once again rise to his feet. Shaking his head, he kept himself from chuckling. No, he wasn't cruel as to laugh as someone's suffering, but he saw some humor in mother nature's ways. He looked down at his persian, who even thought blind, seemed to be eyeing the bird pokemon hungrily. One would thinking he didn't feed Faraon the way he was staring at the bird.

Once again, he shook his head and removed a blanket of sorts from his messenger bag. "Calm down, little guy, I am just here to help." He said softly, with a rather warm voice as he dropped the blanket over the pidgey and waited for any movement in particular before trying to restrain the bird by resting his hands around the cover body. "The calmer you stay, the faster and easier this will go."

Faraon lay down and rested his head over his large paws. "(Listen to the healer, kid, unless you want to finish being lunch....)"

Get was almost immobilized, his wings had become stiff and useless, and his legs weren't even strong enough to support himself, much less effectively use to take down an opponent of this size, not to mention the feline human lover that was standing on hand. Nonetheless, Get was not going to be taken by humans again. Ignoring the healer's words, he wriggled in the human's grip. Hearing the Persian's threat, he stopped, but only to gather the strength to respond. He looked up, sarcasm and contempt in his eyes and voice, "(Yes, a human lover such as yourself WOULD say something of the sort. I suppose the human is taking me to one of those lovely Centers, then shove me into a small container to be stored, am I right? Perhaps I'm being too hasty. He COULD be taking me somewhere to stab me with needles to see how I work. Yes, that would be LOVELY!)"

Faraon rolled to his back as he roared with laughter from the pidgey's little speech. Adriel glared at the feline from where he was, what the hell was he saying to this bird?

The feline calmed and rolled back to his stomach, chuckling still. "(Well, aren't you a little idiot....Don't you know the meaning of the word 'healer'?) He grinned, tilting his head slightly as his milky eyes stared at him. "(He isn't taking you anywhere but to our camp so he can repair your damages. He doesn't carry a lot of stuff around with him, and by the sound of you, you need help, little bird.)" The tail flicker about in amuse. "(Believe me, if he had wanted to hurt you, he would of already...I might be blind, but I know a pidgey like you, wounded or healthy, don't stand a chance against a man his size. So be a good little kid and do as he says, and don't go calling me human lover...)"

"Whatever this cat is saying, Arceus, please let it be good." He wrapped the blanket more tightly around the bird pokemon. "Now, please, I just want to help you. I don't want to take out a pokeball to put you in just to take you to camp and heal you. So just stay put or you'll make your wounds worse..." He looked let the pidgey's head poke out of the blanket, bundling him up like a baby. "So yeah, stay still, will ya?"

Get's eye twitched at the Persian's words. A human being a healer, that would be the day. If this was a joke that the human lover was making, then it was in poor taste. Or the feline could have been blind in more ways than one, if he was being honest about even THAT. There was no telling, and no trusting a human, and Pokemon that submitted themselves to them were just as bad, if not worse. The Pidgey's eye twitched again at the human's words. He looked back down to the human lover, "(This is preposterous. A human healer. Who ever heard of such a thing.)" He steeled his voice as much as he could with his injuries, "(Humans are nothing more than a species comprised of greedy and destructive brutes, that have no talent for anything but destruction and pain. healing is not part of what they do, not unless it is for the purpose of causing more violence... No.. no, a human healer is a preposterous notion, and I do not believe you.)" Get was still, he had used up a good deal of his energy in that speech.

Faraon rolled his milky eyes. "(believe as you wish, you will change your view on this once Adriel is done.)"

The healer looked down to the small bird pokemon, well at least eh was still. He began walking towards his camp, happy that it was too far away, as he took great care to not give the pidgey too much discomfort.

After a couple of minutes, they came up to the campsite. A large pidgeot chirped his greeting in a melody-like voice as he perched onto a low limb.

"Hello, Writer....I brought one of your kin today." Adriel chuckle as he went up to chair and put the bird down. "Now, see here, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Easy way, you stay still, you let me take care of those wounds, you get food and place to stay until you are well. Or the hard way, you trash around, make your wounds worse and have to stay even longer. Now stay your little tail feather put while I go look for my herbs."

The pidgeot hopped closer and looked at the pidgey before smiling. "(You are kinda of rought up, but nothing Lord Adriel can't fix up. You'll be up in the air in no time, little one.)"

"(I would perfer him in my stomach with all the idioticy he is saying...)" Faraon sat on the other side of the chair from Writer. "(While I admit humans are quiet destructive...well..who says that our guy here is a human?)"

Writer rolled his eyes. "(He smells like a pokemon, but Adriel is human. I think Menudo is getting to your head.)"

Faraon laughed. "(Speaking of that wacko, where is he? I am sure Adriel could use a translator....)"

"(Sleeping in the tent, came over about an hour ago)"

"(I'll go give him a wake up call then...)"

Get glared at the human and Persian alternately, as that was the best he could muster. When the human introduced a Pidgeot, Get cringed. There had, before, been a small chance that, if he regained his flight, he could have escaped, but with the larger bird in an obvious alliance with the human, that chance was lost. He was a prisoner, no two ways around it. He was too weak to fight, and to flee, whether on ground or by air, would be nothing short of suicide. As the man set him down, what he said only added insult to injury. He had given him a command that was next to pointless, because there was no other option. That meant that he was now obeying a command handed to him by a human. The accursed bipedal beast.

He still had little energy, not even enough to stand, reducing him to sitting, and had not caught his breath when the larger bird came over to spout his nonsense.. but something that he said struck a cord. The human did indeed smell.. odd, and now that it was brought to his attention, the oddness was similar to the wilder scent of Pokemon. Get had assumed that this was due to the presence of the Persian, but.. it did seem to follow him... Strange. At the mention of a fourth member of his group of tormentors, the Pidgey's eyes closed tight, then reopened. He addressed his fellow avian, "(You appear to be close to the human. I find it hard to believe that to be so, giving your being an avian like myself. Tell, me. Do you think he is really any different than those who burn our forests and cut our homes and fill the skies we fly in with chocking black smoke? In your heart, do you believe it?)"

The pidgeot tilted his head slightly as he was question. "(Hmmm....In my heart?)" He rested part of his wing onto his black feathered chest then looked at the smaller bird in the eyes. "(Yes, I do believe that he so.)"

Faraon pawed lightly at a large furball of white and deep blue-purple. "(wake up)" He commanded, getting no reaction, he pulled out ihs claws and slashed the mewtwo's rump.

Menudo let out a mental yelp and sat up quickly. He glared at the feline as he rubbed the section. " Was that necessary...."

"(Oh, yes, I just love that look in your face.)" The blind persian chuckled before coming out of the tent, follow after a moment, by the mewtwo, who stretched and yawned.

"Nice to see you among the living, Nudo." Adriel chuckled as he walked back to the pidgey and pick him up. Sitting down, he put the bird on his lap and took out a medicine that he tried to applied to the head wounds on the pidgey's head.

Get pulled his head down as far as it would go and made a noise that was a cross between a hiss and a gargle. It was much less intimidating than it had been meant to be, as a matter of fact, it was almost pitiable.. which made Get even more irritated. He shut his eyes against the humiliation and insult. He had not allowed a human to touch him since he escaped from those in the black uniforms. His complaints were momentarily stopped because of his clenched beak. He was helpless in a human's hands, oh the utter cruelty of fate. She was cruel with her actions. He heard the other two approaching. One of them was the Persian, but he had been to distracted to notice where he had gone. He made the hissing/gargling noise one last time, and was quiet.

Adriel sighed softly as he continue applying the mixture onto the wounds, while there was some stinging at the beginning, the pain started to become numb. Pulling the blanket back, he moved to the bird's main body, leaving the wing wounds for last.

Menudo sat down by the chair and tilted his head slightly as he watched. "I didn't know pidgeys could make that sound...."

"Well....normally the sound is made when they are hiding, people or predators, confuse it for a large pokemon." Adriel said softly. "But he is very tired right now, and probably either mad or scare of me, so it sounds a little off."

Menudo blinked. "do pigeots do that?"

Adriel blinked and looked up from his work. ".....Actually I don't know that...Writer?" He turned to the much larger bird.

Songwriter chirped innocently as he looked up with his large yellow eyes. "(No, not really, but females do. To keep predators away from their nest while they are trying to keep their eggs warm.)"

The healer went back to work. "I see....why do males lose the ability? I thought males looked after the eggs too?"

Songwriter gave a sad look for a moment. "(We do, but we do mostly looking for food to feed our mates, we rarely look after the nest.)"

"Hmmm...I am sorry, Writer." He stopped once his work and rested his hand on the pigeot's head. "Sometimes we forget..." He removed his hand after a moment and went back to working.

"(Its quiet alright)"

Get opened his eyes as soon as the pain subsided, but his weariness had been increased. He glared at the purple and white.. thing.. he could only assume that it was either a deformed human or a humanoid Pokem.. wait.. he had seen a picture of one of these in the white rooms.... This was the result that they were attempting to repeat.. so it was a living creature.... The Pidgey tilted his head as he stared at the purple Pokemon, "(What, praytell, are you.. and why are all of you discussing me like I'm not here...)"
PostPosted: Fri Mar 20, 2009 1:44 pm

The mewtwo swung his tail about in a cat-like tail twitch pattern. "...I am what human call a mewtwo." His head tilted slightly to the side. "And we are because you seem rather difficult to speak with."

Adriel gave the mewtwo a disapproving look before turning to the pidgey. "Apologies to you, but you did seemed incapable, at the moment, to answer any questions." The healer paused. "I know it will be painful, but I need you to extend your wounded wing."

Get turned to the human incredulously, (You're joking. You do realize that the only reason you've been able to humiliate me thus far is that I lack the strength to get out of here. I do, however, have the strength to not open my wing.) He turned back to the.. Mewtwo, (Ah, so that is what those are. I had heard them being discussed, but never connected them with the diagrams... Well, that solves several mysteries for me.)
PostPosted: Wed Mar 25, 2009 7:09 pm

Menudo arched a brow but said nothing as he looked up at Adriel, who looked down right miserable. Really, the mewtwo couldn't see why the healer helped those who needed it but did nothing but complain and hurt him throught the whole process.

Adriel counted to ten outloud as he leaned back on his seat before looking down at the pidgey. "I have done no such thing, this isn't humiliation. All the pokemon here have been treated by me and known that this is healing. This is what I have to do to keep you and myself as safe as possible while I treat you." He pulled off his coat, revealing the scar and injury ridden upper body and arms. "You see all these scars? I got them helping pokemon, helping those near death or just too injure like yourself. And if you don't let me help you with that wing, that wound will cripple you for life. Its too deep to be left unchecked. Now you either do what I asked, or I will force you to do what I ask. Because I am not gonna throw you over the bushes and let some pokemon eat you!"

Get glared at the human.. it had counted... What? Did it want to impress him that he knew how to count using the human's numbers? If so, it was an attestation of either its stupidity or its opinion of his intelligence. Get glared again the human was downright frustrating, and it didn't help that he was actually beginning to understand and almost like the vile creature. He tried to calm himself, for his injuries' sakes, "(The last thing I want is help from a human. Humans are the problem, and I don't want whatever twisted excuse for healing that you are offering. The best I have ever seen a human do as far as healing has been done by men in white coats who try to study what is inside of Pokemon. They put needles through the wound to keep the "Patient" from dying and preventing them further testing. I don't blame whoever did that, that is how a human should be welcomed, in my opinion. But, I assume that that was the point that you decided to get injured subjects rather than healthy ones. Easier to manage.)" He thought. Four on one, and him barely able to stand. At least he could be proud of the death he was about to receive. It was a pity that he wasn't even strong enough to do something of significance to this beast. It would have been something to think on as he died.
