I'm back.
Scary Thought, ain't it?
...Okay, continuing, I've been looking for (resisting the urge to say 'certain artifacts') some voice talents for a little drama I'm planning for a little while now. I had no idea where to post my request though... so I tried the chatterbox, but as usual, everything just got flushed away beneath the stuff and nonsense. So I figured I might as well try to post it here - at least I'll get more attention that way.

@Flipped: No, actually it's not. So far, we've got people playing roles from: Malaysia, Vietnam, Bangladesh and the USA. The only limitation when it comes to place is for the role of Hiro Zhang, because he needs a very specific accent - and the actor must also understand Mandarin (Chinese).
@Kronic: Premise...? I'm not sure I get what you mean by that. The overall mood or something? What kind of accent do you have?
@Icrat: High-pitched is fine... though I did just give away the role of the squeaky girly boy burning_eyes

And my accent is odd, it's a sort of hybrid of Scots and upper-class British. We've no idea where the second half came from. :/

Um... *thinks* It's based on an RPG based on Gakuen Alice - which is an overall, cheery, cute manga - but in the later chapters it's a little more deep and we learn that the Academy is built on lies and betrayal and yadda yadda. The RPG follows an older group of students and it's got quite a bit of comedy, but also a few dark twists and turns. Though, the drama though (for now) will probably be more light hearted humorous stuff.
p.s. Actually... we're looking for someone with an authentic British accent (not all that fake type junk that sounds so awful - like... ughh... Angelina Jolie's Lara Croft stare ) for the role of Poseidon. Would you, possibly be interested?

Oh, and... Scottish... British... I know - massive difference; but can you focus more on one accent that another?
It's what I do from time to time : P
I constantly swap through my awful Malaysian Chinese accent to my irritating American one xd

I can make myself sound generically British, but I have a hard time pulling off a normal Scots dialect, just my odd hybrid one. :/
And sure, I'll get some samples ready if you want, I'll just need a few lines you want me to use as a demo. And I'll have till after my new PC's set up, FedEx people came whilst I was away at the shop. :/ So I'll likely head down to the depot and get it tomorrow, but might take most the weekend to get it configured, so likely I won't have time for recording unti Monday, will this be a problem?
