 Drathir left the house in the morning. Recently it had seemed that the Matron of the House De'Rretep, second house in Llurth Dreir, had died. No fingers were really pointed and life moved one. The eldest daughter, Burryna, was named the new Matron, and both of the younger daughters were making arrangements to leave the house. Drathir did not blame them for not wanting to be under their sisters rule. She was glad though that her lady was finally able to become matron and had not been found as the killer of her mother.
Her steps kept even as she made her way through the city towards some of the lower houses. Burryna had sent her to fetch a male, Mica was his name. Nothing was said besides to get the male but Drathir knew all the happened in the De'Rretep house. She knew of this male her lady had been meeting and of the child between the two. She was the one that had suspected it first. Now she was to bring this male to the house to have another discussion with the now new Matron.
Up to the house Barrith she made, if only she could see the expressions of the guards as she past by, a blind woman. She informed one that she had to discuss something with the one named Mica and now stood waiting for him.

The guard what greeted the bld female was, to say the least, a touch freaked out by her. Even though he was dressed in a leather black and red jesters outfit, he felt more uncomfortable by those eyes then anything he wore. He personally carried the message, while leaving another uncomfortable guard to stand guard at the gate.
Mas D'aun had decreed no visitors to be allowed enterance to the House since his mother had taken ill. So it landed on the servants to run the endless requests and messages to the house when others came. It was a freaking bother really. Still...
It took hardly half a candles length for Micarreth to appear at the gate. Sauntering alongside the guard, making the other look highly uncomfortable, and with his scarf drawn up over the bottom half os his face. he tilted his head at the white eyed female, and asked after a moment of obviously looking her up and down.
"You wanted to speak with me? You'll have to speak with me outside here. Prince MasD'aun has decided we waren't allowed any visitors."

Drathir sometimes thought it would be interesting to see the reactions to her blindness and how it never seemed to affect her, sometimes. She could feel the nervousness of the guards, mostly through the earth. Most weakminded did tend to get freaked out by her.
She was use to strict protocol, even worse being from a house of high position and had expected to wait. Feeling two people approach her she turned slightly and bowed her head.
"My lady has sent for you, I am to bring you to see her. This discussion is not for outside, where there are others ears, and eyes." Drathir turned again towards the road. "If you would follow me, Master Mica." So, this was the male that her lady had come across. Without another word she started to walk, her lady Burryna was waiting, and you never keep a Matron waiting.

Was this the servant that Burryna was supposed to send for him with? Micarreth let his eyes linger on her, particularly when she turned to walk off down the road. He took up walking a step behind her. His throughts tumbling around in his head. This was sooner then he had expected, but he was grateful for it. The Goddess had to be favoring him somehow to have Burryna send for him so soon...or..was it Burryna? Maybe this was a ruse by his brother to get him to go without a fuss? For a paranoid moment he felt the desire to look over his shoulder and scan his Houses windows for any sign of the gay b*****d.
Insted he forced himself to look ahead and keep in step with the female. She was just a messenger but..damn..weird eyes or not... No... Micarreth had to shake his head slightly. Since his parting from Burryna his mind had lingered on the one thing he couldn't have without her. That..really made it hard not to think such thoughts every time he saw a moderatly appealing female. Still...he had been strong enough to avoid the temptation to torture any females and he had remained loayl to her. Much to his prideful relief.

She had been told to not outright speak of which house had sent for the male, for things that were never spoke of still aren't. From what Drathir had heard of this male's brother, she most defiantly did not want to speak more than what was necessary when retrieving this male.
After a ways from Mica's house and close to her ladys' Drathir spoke. "I am my lady Burryna's most trusted servant, which is why she sent me to get you. We are almost there. Once inside do not speak a word or stray off, I have excellent hearing so I will know. You may speak when you see the Matron." She turned and started for the house to which they were quite close to now.

Micarreth tilted his head..and frowned at the curt female. Well..He could not expect any special treatment yet. Officially he and Burryna had 'not met' yet. He would have to play the part of a summoned male and work his way into being her Patron...just...not too slowly. He was pretty certain he'd not be able to manage holding his tongue for long. Goddess! This was going to be....exceptional.
"Relax, I won't wander off until I see Burryna." He assured this supposed servant. If she was so trusted how come he had never seen her at any of his and Burryna's meetings?

Had it been noticeable, one could have told that Drathir was rolling her eyes. If she had ever been needed at one of those meetings, she'd had been there. But the lady needed her to stay behind to keep up appearances, for the chance she was being looked for, someone was there. "I am relaxed, now stay quiet."
Drathir nodded at the guards who seemed unfazed as to her appearance, mainly her eyes. Making sure the male was still behind her, she entered the large complex and made her way through the winding hallways. The House De'Rretep was almost like a labyrinth, it would take years for one to learn of all the ways through this house. She stopped in front of large ornate doors and knocked.
"Enter."
Drathir motioned to the male to open the doors and enter.

In his typical manner, Micarreth made a face at the woman behind his mask. He disliked her at the moment..then again...Micarreth had to take a moment to reflect, he disliked everyone right now. The time that had passed thus far in his House had been anything but pleasent...
His yellow eyes flickered to each of the guards as they entered..and he dried to focus on memoriseing the path she took him through the house by. This House...was by and far more grand then barrith. The decorations and wealth of it...it made barrith look like a poormans lame attempt at appearing high society... What irked him was that is it did not need be that way. If his mother would just break open even one of those vaults...
When they finally reached the door, and he heard the summons from within, Micarreth finally straitened out of his slouch and came at attention. His yellow eyes sharp and eager. That had to be Burryna!

Drathir nodded and opened the door, closing after Mica entered.
Burryna sat in a lightly spider decorated throne. She had personally thought it was gaudy, one of the few things she was going to change now that she was matron. The room was large and highly adorned to show off the status of this house. Burryna herself looked fairly the same, though the air about her seemed more elegant. The only thing different would be a very slight bump of her belly, though it wasn't something someone would right out notice unless they looked. A grin came across her face as she saw Mica and she motioned to him to come to her seat. "Mica, its been a little bit hasn't it."

He entered the throne room with full confidence in his stride. Once within though, his steps slowled and became smaller. His eyes swept the room, taking in the decoration and the pomp of the place. After seeing only his mothers empty hall, this place felt busy. Full of more life, and far more regal then anything he had ever experienced at home. There was a distinct difference between Burryna House and his own...and it went beyond simply their rank.
Burryna herself sat on the center point throne, and after his moment of study, he remembered to bow his head towards her. The sound of her greeting called to mind that just because they were informal privately, he still had to keep up the appearance of a summoned male. It irked him.
He disliked the role society placed on him, he only hoped that once Burryna made him Patron he would at least have more power to his position that would allow him to act as he pleased.
"Bu--- Ah... Matron Burryna. It has...been a while yes. I was told you wanted to talk with me?" Stupid appearances and stupid protocol...couldn't they have done this someplace where he could have maybe pounced her? No...he supposed not... not if they wanted to make certain there were no questions reguarding whether or not he belonged here now...

Burryna watched Mica as he walked into the room. She had never been to his house but could only guess on what it was like. How different it must be, her house was of high ranking so it would be much more decorated. The one thing about her house she did not like was that it was always busy. So much went on in the main rooms that she was never alone here. Always someone following her and asking things of her.
Though she would be able to get away for a bit, she did have to entertain her guest. There were things to... discuss.
"I trust that Drathir got you here quickly." Her eyes scanned the room for a moment and her voice grew a little louder. "Mica, come, walk with me as talk." Drathir and a few of the other drow in the room bowed slightly as she stood up.
Without any other motion to Mica, Burryna started to walk for another set of doors, guessing Mica would follow. Down a hall and through another set of doors. These doors were opened and closed for her by the guards standing outside of them. She walked into the room and waited for Mica to follow her in before looking the door. "Welcome to the waiting room of my main chambers. Here we can talk without being overheard, finally." She motioned to some chairs as she sat down.

Micarreths attention remained fixed on Burryna. She was as attractive as wlways...perhaps a little more so now that she was sitting on that throne. She did not sit for long, as she rose after greeting him.
"Your servant set a fairly quick pace, but nothing that was inconvient" He agreed in a manner he hoped was acceptable. He was soon quick to pick up his steps, and he silently followed where Burryna would lead him. He honestly did have some questions that burned to be answered.
It was only after she informed him in the privacy of her waiting room that it was safe to talk that he practically pounced her. "How was it? Did you see it? Tell me what happened! How long ago did you take the throne?" He rattled off in quick eager bursts. His yellow eyes glimmered excitedly for the answers.

Burryna had only nodded in response as she had walked to her chambers. Having sat down she grinned some when she was more or less pounced upon by Mica.
For a moment she thought before speaking. "It was quite great. Indeed I did get to witness it. I was able to get the last dose into one of the drinks at a family dinner. It seemed less suspicious that I was present and both my sisters. It was quite a good death, her eyes showed just a hint of knowing before she slumped over." Burryna smiled some, both from the recounting and from the seemingly growing excitement from Mica. "I've been on the throne just a few weeks really."

"Outstanding" He breathed eagerly. "I wish I could have seen it too. It's something remarkable to accompish useing that poison." For a moment Micarreths features betrayed a wistful expression. Though, he was quick to recover after a moments imagination.
"I'm glad you sent for me too. I was starting to get nervouse. Mas nearly made a mess of everything!" His hands fluttered in the air in a sudden furious explosion. "He's gone and had me adopt some fat pig of a wizard as my daughter. So now she counts as my first kid. On top of that he was planning on selling me off to some mercenary company for a few years! He said it was to help better educate me." Micarreths yellow eyes narrowed to unhappy slits. "I know the truth of it though. he was hoping that I'd get myself killed and out of his hair while he get's up to something."

"It was wonderful. And no one thought of it, well my sisters may think of me doing something since I was next in line. I will have to see what they will be doing now that I am on the throne." Burryna grinned some and stroked her chin for a moment.
One of her eyebrows rose and Mica talked, his family was so very bothersome. "He is quite a handful it sounds like. He did what?" She covered her mouth as she chuckled for a moment. "Well lucky for you I can get you out of there. And the only children of yours that would count are any by me." Her hand fell to her belly and rubbed it. "This thing is getting more noticeable."
