Vampire Academy RP thread
There is information about the world in the first page of the RP thread, for easy reference. The quick summery of the world is here:
There are three kinds of vampires. Strigori, Moroi, and Damphirs. The Strigori Are the closest top the "traditional" vampires. They can't go out in the light, they are super strong, they're dead, and they are ruthlessly evil souless things. ::hides from DB and Mahou:: Anyway, then there are the two main races the RP will focus on. The Moroi can handle the sun in small doses only, they have magic and are weaker and smaller, more human like in constitution. The Damphir are half human half Moroi, but now can only be born from a Damphir and a Moroi. They're strong, and fast, can handle the sun, and are raised to be the guardians to the Moroi.
The rp throws these groups together in a small academy, well warded, guarded and protected, where each learns the cultures and ways of their race. And.... as each deals with... well.... high school. heart

Position(s) : Senior student Notable Relations: He is the son of one of the Royal guardians named Dyrthene. Posting style: Le Moi Bio/history: Acton's father is a cold, disciplined man who wanted nothing more than to guard the royal family. He trained daily, resting only when he could not go on any longer; his strength and skills are practically legend. He found a mate and reproduced three times. Two girls and one boy. Dyrthene and Amstria were together only when they had to be and never saw one another again after Acton's birth. Acton was taken by his father and trained with little mercy and the harshness of a warrior father. He has spent time with his mother, a necessary part of growing up, but through the cold lifestyle of his father he is very objective in his thinking and he is not interested in intimacy with Moroi or humans. Especially humans. He is at the school to learn more, then when he returns home he will study with his father. As a senior he is now able to get on the field training and he cannot wait.

Bio/history:Emalthya looks really young to be a teacher. She doesn't seem very good at it. She is very human-like in her appearance and actions, but she has a deep hoarde of magical ability. She teaches guardians magical defences and, if they are interested, or good, enough, how to use magic themselves. Or she just uses them as target practice. Piiiiong!
Her speciality is illusions, healing and projectile magic, especially because of her frailty. She came to the school for something to do. To keep out of the way, so pretend to herself she had a purpose.
What she rarely tells anyone (But somehow... most people know already) is that she was fostered by humans. No-one noticed anything amiss with her until she drew out on her own and forgot about aging. Two years on, she still looked eighteen. Five years on. Same. Along this time she had had inklings of a difference in herself. She was finally shown the light... or lack thereof... by her benefactor. She changed her name, then and found herself at the school with nothing but time.
