Hi! I'm Metalic_Noodles.
Post hellos, about yourself, and just random chatting. If you want this can be a chatting cafe where people just walk in an out, basically a chat thread with virtual drinks, tables and chairs. I suggest dialogue quotations instead of action asterisks.

I've been having some sadistic fun in a casual RP. I don't know why, but I felt like being mean to NPCs. Too bad I'm too reserved to get into the deep stuff, but it really isn't the type of thread that has that very often. However, I would love to see their reactions of I took the time to really write it right.

I had a guild with many pages, and I was lucky to have 4 actively posting, which included myself. With a guild like this, getting the word out, proving usefulness, then word of mouth might be the best way. Many people who RP regularly are active in two or more groups, which means that each person could tell ten people just through conversation.
But what do I know? I cleared and sold my guild off a few months back, after it hadn't ever been particularly active.

One problem might be that we just don't have anything for users to do right now. They join, but don't have anything to do, so they just forget about the place.

Hey. Everyone calls me Duke and I have been Role Playing for 9 years ever since I was 12.
I run a forum in Barton Town called Humans vs Monsters II: Arcanadia Region, which is a sister forum to Humans vs Monsters. I envision Humans vs Monsters growing to a series of threads that are interconnected, where characters can travel from area to area and interact with eachother.

Just call me wolf. I have some experience in RPing. But I had a god-modder on the site I frequented, and left. It got really boring when some one had an anti-damage thing for EVERYthing you sent him. An example follows.
me: I fire some lasers out from my staff of light.
narem: (after a noticeable pause) I block your lasers with my mirror sheild.
me: I fire a stone missle at your mirror to break it.
narem: (after another long pause) I stick out my gauntlet of water to absorb all the stone into mud
me: (getting frustrated because he needs to have experienced some damage to get a certain item I'm trying to give him) I cast drown sphere, it causes 25% damage. (it was an ability with a 95% success rate)
narem: (after yet another long pause) Except that I had a magical sponge of holding in my pocket, and it absorbs the drown sphere.
And he'd keep this up no matter what you threw at him, one he ran out of limbs, and accessories, he'd start having different ones all together. He'd still be standing there, and all the sudden he had a dragon scale shield instead of a mirror shield, and so on and so forth. It's not fun working with some one who makes themselves invincible.
I decided to give this guild a try because it's like a RPG etiquette class, and I feel the world needs more polite RPers. Besides I had to check out the guild I made banners for.
