The sun was starting to sink into the savanna's horizon, and most of her family had already headed towards the den. One of her brothers glared back at Feana. He was covered in mud and leaves, sticks and grass from her prank she pulled earlier on him. Snickering as he shook himself, she moved to the tree near her den and climbed on what was designated as 'her' limb. This was where she thought of her newest pranks, her newest jokes. Tossing her long headfur from her crystal blue eyes, she stared out at the changing color sky and sighed.
"How can I make someone's fur change color for a while...?" She asked herself allowed, crossing her front paws and rested her head on them. Feana's tail would dangle from the limb, brushing the trunk occasionally with a ruffle sound. She'd woken up her father plenty of times because of her tail, or her litter mates screaming while she laughed away.
It wasn't her fault the best time for pranking is while someone's asleep. "Maybe I can get some honey... if the bees let me have it, and drip it on Dad's fur, then stick like.. those.... big leaves that look like elephant ears on him." She hadn't tried to trick her dad before. Sure, she shared a joke or two with him, and hunted with him, but she'd never tricked him.
"Or... I could like.... Fake that I'm in trouble and everyone'll come running, and ..." her thoughts trailed off as she sighed softly. Her pranks were getting to be the same thing every time. "Gods, above, something new is in order.." If only she had some kind of partner to help her plot.

Irit grinned as she finished hiding the trap under leaves and dirt. The vine would hold....and the cub who'd been tormenting Tama while he moped would find himself upside down for a while. Of course, she knew the vine would hold only long enough for some blood to rush to his head, and it wouldn't hold him so high up that the fall would do more than bruise his pride. Happy that everything was set, the pale juvenile started towards home.
A blinked as she caught sight of someone in one of her favorite trap-trees. Irit wrinkled her nose. There wasn't supposed to be anyone there yet. She hadn't even needed to set something up! "Hey! Who're you?" She knew better than to stand right under the older lioness...but she was close.

"Excuse me, little cub, but this is my tree," Feana said with a huff, blue eyes looking down to the pale cub. This had been her tree since she got up here the first time. Who was this cub? She looked familiar, but she couldn't tell.
"Oh, and by the way, your little trap you planned, that vine won't hold very long. ...Maybe you could have put it underneath a beehive and had it snap back so your prey would hit the beehive, have the vine snap, and have them run for their lives into some mud to get away from them," she commented, a twinkle in her eye. She didn't care if her prey got hurt, it was hilarious as sin when she was able to get someone in more than one way.
She jumped down after a moment, puffing herself up to the little cub and chuckled. "Very good attempt, though. I've got so many people like that. I also managed to cover my brother in honey, once, and put leaves and dirt all over him, while he was sleeping, and then screamed in his ear and woke up the whole den. He ran around in circles and hit a wall, he was so confused."

Irit raised a brow. "YOUR tree? Lady, only reason I asked is because you were unfamiliar, new. That tree is no one's. You're just lucky I only set traps in it when some deserves it." At the older lioness' suggestions...she laughed.
"That'd be great...IF I was aiming to harm. Oh no...I aim to teach. To knock egos down and show bullies that you don't need to be BIG to fight back." She grinned, a spark of mischief in her eyes. "I make sure idiots are paid in kind. And bullies get double their share." Like that one boy who'd tried to bully Tama before his growth spurt. THAT had been the start of it all, and the best example of her work. Then again...she had been thinking through clear rage.

"Oh ho! A teaching trickster, that's a new one," she laughed, smirking at little Irit before moving closer to her. "That sounds good, actually. Tell me, what kind of tricks to you play?" She asked, putting a paw on Irit's head and messing up that head fur, clearly uncaring of the little cub's aggravation or annoyance.
Feana shifted to lay down on the ground, on her belly and yawned widely. "We could team up, you know. Form a little trickster party so those stupid bullies won't dare hurt anyone we know."

Irit grinned. "Hang 'em upside down until the vine breaks...then they hit their head rather hard. Stink holes, hive relocations to favorite hiding spots, fur dye....lots of things. Even think up new ones." She chuckled. "I don't limit myself. I let their crimes do that." The dark tone to the last bit of her words left no doubt in that.
"Team up?" Irit thought a moment. There was advantage in numbers. The whole 'two heads are better than one' thing. "Why not? It might help us both."

"Excellent." Feana beamed at her new found partner and moved to ruffle her headfur with a paw in an affectionate manner. "Now then, who do we trick first? You got to have someone in mind.." The gray female said, voice lowering an octave. She couldn't wait to see what Irit had up her sleeves, so to speak. "Remember, I'm taller than you, and stronger. So go all out and we'll pull of the Pridelands best pranks."

Did she have someone in mind...? Ah...She did. She chuckled. "There's a boy...an outsider actually, that occasionally comes into the borders and tries causing trouble. If the scouts have ever caught him, they can't do much, since he's just a juvenile. But...WE can do something." She grinned broadly, darkly. "I've been thinking of the perfect trap to leave him, but haven't come up with anything beyond making his fur purple."

Making his fur purple, while being amusing, wouldn't teach him anything. Thinking for a moment, Feana hummed and looked around, snickering to herself. "What we can do is dig a deep hole and make it muddy. Then we'll put sticks and things on top of it and lure the newly purple furred male over to it, and watch him fall in. He'll be startled, but realize he can get out later. ...After he's done panicking. What do you think?"

Irit narrowed her eyes. "Yes....that could work...." Hmmm. Was still missing somethin-OH! Her eyes seemed to light up with her idea. "Perhaps...I can act as bait. Or we can get another of the pride's cubs to act as bait." She chuckled. "Have them lure the troublemaker through the traps. And repeat as necessary, so he starts associating pride members with bad things happening to him?"

The little girl acting as bait, that would be perfect! "I like that plan, Irit. It's absolutely perfect. But, you'll have to fill me in on how things go, neh?" It was time for her to meet that wandering rouge that was near. Just thinking about him made her heart thump a bit faster in her chest. Kenya would definately show up today, right? Right.
"I've got to meet my own boy."

Irit blinked, than nodded. "I can do that." She smirked. "Have fun! Perhaps you can watch the results first-hand another time!" Oh this would be good...so good~
