Personality: Otessa is a happy, curious child. Doted on by everyone in her immediate family, she doesn't know what it means to be ignored or unwanted. As a result, she seems to believe the rest of the world equally exists to serve and entertain her. Otessa is incredibly self centered, and lacks the ability to understand that other people have thoughts and feeling individual of her own needs and wants. She's a very easy going little girl, naive and not given to anger. She usually has a difficult time understanding that someone might even think to be angry or aggressive with her, given to interpreting any unkindness as just a new and exciting sort of friendliness. She can be demanding, but she isn't really selfish, ready to share the things she wants with others.

Shapechanging: Otessa can shapeshift. However she can only shapeshift into her idea of what something is, so until she masters visualization, her shifts may be a bit disturbing.

Immortality: A demi-god, Otessa shows signs of being immortal.

Autumn's Call: Otessa can change the season in the area around her to autumn.

Affinity (children): Because children are sacred to the Lady, Otessa has an affinity that draws non-sapient infants and children too her, and encourages bonding with sapient infants.

Affinity (death): As Autumn is the Goddess that watches death's path, Otessa can sense when death is near, and can interact with the spirit world.

They called her Lady Gray, Twilight Maiden, Evening Star, Change. They called her Autumn, and they called themselves the Autumn Guard, or they called themselves her children.

They felt her presence in many ways. She was the sharp wind of winter on a warm summer's day. She was every color of the sunset as day fell into night. She was the leaves in their final celebratory riot of color. She was falling in love, with the wrong person, at the wrong time, and embracing the feeling anyway.

Few saw her. The time of gods that walked the earth had fallen to the past. But Autumn had little mind for rules or tradition. So, if few saw her, a few did see her. It was more than could be said of other gods.

She was perfect, of course. Gods are. Tall and slender, feminine but not dramatically curvy (she was not, after all, a fertility goddess). There was little that could be called gentle about her. Her face was sharp, with high cheekbones and a long, imperious nose. Her eyes were the color of twilight, blue-gray and sparkling with the first hint of stars. She wore her hair like a mantle, it reached to her knees, autumnal red that showed hints of amber and brown under sunlight.

These details changed of course, depending on the viewer. It's the nature of gods to change to suit the viewer. And the Goddess of Change herself was not given to consistency. But they saw also what they expected to see, and they expected such things. There were those that said her hair was the color of sunset, that her eyes were the exact same brown of acorns. There were those that she had wings like an owl, horns like a stag. The non-human races saw her in their own image. When she was painted, or sculpted, or woven, they crowned her with autumn leaves and dressed her in silks of similar colors. And maybe she dressed like that. And maybe she didn't. She was Lady Gray, and she did as she wished.

Autsu: Autsu came to Kniene through the ICRS. He's an alien criminal punished with rebirth and 'rehabilitation' on Gaia. Autsu maintains complete memories of his previous life. A soldier and body guard on his own planet, he maintains a similar existance on Gaia. Autsu is reserved, quiet, and serious. He lives with Kniene, but is rarely home.

Sethos: Sethos is Kniene's oldest child a fae from 030. Sethos can manipulate time on a small scale. He is quiet to the point of almost never speaking, as he considers words wasteful in most cases. He's bonded to a snake familiar named Sussare who can take human form. Sethos has his own home, but regularly visits Kniene.
