After a month of relaxing and running into helixes of several kinds Ama finally returned to the spot she had last seen Lloyd and promised to meet again. She was tremendously nervous. Sure she knew this day was coming and of course she'd prepared but nothing compared to the real thing, and this was the real thing. Dyvolio had played a big part in getting her prepared so now she only had to wait to see if Lloyd would show up. Ferey had stayed home. He said he wouldn't hinder her on her quest but would be waiting for her arrival back home. When she wouldn't be herself any longer......

Lloyd was slowly making his way to the spot he had parted ways with Ama. This past month had been a bit harsh on his old joints and it was painful to walk. But he had promised his young friend that he'd help her on her journey and he would no matter the pain. He glanced around before scenting the air. He could faintly smell Ama so she must be waiting for him.
Approaching the spot where Ama is Lloyd had to smile. She looked more mature and even more lady-like. "Hello Ama." He said walking up to her, "How has this past month treated you?"

Smiling Ama felt excitement bubble up inside her. Her older friend was a definite sight for sore eyes. But somehow he seemed older then the last time she had laid her eyes on him. Concern flooded over her nervous excitement. "Hello Lloyd! This month has treated my quite well thank you! How are you? Are you feeling well? Everything alright?"

Lloyd smiled at Ama seeing her concern. "That's good." He said sitting down, "I'm doing quite well in my old age. Of course I'm feeling well. Just my joints acting up a little but it's nothing to worry about." He looked at her for a moment trying to reassure her that he was okay. "So where are we going to be heading first?"

"I'm sorry to hear about your joints. I hope they feel well soon! We'll take our time in this journey. There really is no need to rush since we must find them first and that requires time." sighing Ama knew she would need all her patience to find her sisters. They were out there somewhere. But where? "I was thinking we start here in the neutral territory. Seeing as we're already here. I say we can cut out that they're in the East as I've lived there all my life and have found no trace of them. So if we don't find them here we can decide where to go to from there. Sound good for you?" Smiling Ama was glad to have company. She missed her friends dearly and Lloyd was like a family member to her. She had never had family before.

Lloyd smiled and shook his head gently. "Thanks for being so kind to this old-timer." He said nodding, "That sounds like a good plan. I haven't really looked around here or in my own territory for anyone else like you. So they could be here or there." He stayed sitting for a moment before standing up. Several of his joints popped and creaked in protest to him getting up. "Shall we begin looking around?" He was quite glad Ama said they weren't in a rush. He didn't think he had much rushing in him.
((I'll probably toss in Soleil or Gina soon))

"You're no old-timer you're just an aging helix is all!" Smiling Ama stood next to Lloyd and survayed the place. "Well I don't know where to start but I guess we can just go with the flow. Lets try looking all across this side of the river then cross to the other. That way we don't back track."
Hoping she wasn't sounding to bossy Ama thought her plan was a good idea. Best not hurt his joints any more then they already were. It was taking all her strength to keep from telling Lloyd to go back home. He wanted to help and after waiting for so long she knew she needed someone wise to help her find her sisters. Sniffing Ama closed her eyes and took a couple step forward. "I say this is the way we should start. What do you think?"
((Alright I'll throw Starla in after they run into one of those two. Or if they're staying to help them look through the territory then I'll throw her in after all that is settled.))

Lloyd chuckled a little before taking a few steps in the direction Ama had gone. "Sounds like a good plan. Nice to see you're using your head." He said, "And sure this direction will be fine." With that he began walking.
After walking quite a distance Lloyd had to stop. "I think I need a break." He said sitting down, "Sorry that we've haven't gotten further." He stretched his front legs out hoping the dull ache would leave.
Soleil lifted her head when she heard a strange voice nearby. She began walking in the direction it was coming from. She was curious about who was wandering into her little piece of land.... well land that she was staying on at least. "Who's there?" She demanded as she walked to where Lloyd was resting, "What do you think you're doing old man?" She tilted her head taking in Lloyd still not noticing Ama.

Nodding her head Ama knew that Lloyd needed a rest and it was nice to get a little break now and then. "It's fine Lloyd! We did some good searching. Any distance is good distance for me it means I'm that much closer to the finish." Going over to sniff at a bush in search of some lead Ama was startled by the voice she heard. Turning Ama gazed at the female helix and frowned. How rude! Didn't she know you needed to respect your elders? "Excuse me. We're merely resting for a bit. We will be on our way momentarily. Are you so rude as to force an older helix to move when he is in obvious pain?"

Lloyd looked at Soleil and smiled. "Sorry. Are we intruding in your territory? We didn't mean to. I didn't think there was a pack here." He said to the Beta, "I'm Lloyd and this is Lady Ama. We're on a journey to find more helixes like her." He then turned to Ama and shook his head. "Ama. You should know to respect those who's rank is higher than your own."Soleil glared at the younger helix before turning her attention to the more respectful older one. "It's alright Lloyd. There is no pack around here. This is merely where I call home." She said, "Feel free to rest here..... and sorry for sounding so nasty. Never know who you're going to run into." She was going to completely ignore Ama until she could learn some respect.((Gah! I forgot to include a pic of Soleil))

Frowning still Ama tried forcing her annoyance back into the very depths of herself. "I apologize. What I said was uncalled for and inappropriate. I don't believe I caught your name." Sighing Ama just clenched her jaw and waited. 'relax Ama. Just relax. No need to get worked up. That's not going to help anything.' Looking around Ama hoped she hadn't messed up as badly as Lloyd made it sound like she did.

Soleil finally looked at Ama since she apologized. "It's okay." She said shaking her head, "I never gave my name and I'm sorry for being rude like that. I'm Soleil." She paused to look at Ama and noticed the clenched jaw. "What brings you two to this neck of the woods?"
Lloyd smiled as Ama made amends to Soleil. "Do you mind if we tell her what we're doing exactly Ama?" He asked looking to the horned female, "Perhaps she can help point us in the right direction."

Glad that a name was given Ama dropped her gaurd and relaxed. Just the thought of this journey was stressing her out and making her much more irritable then it should have and Ama realized her normal friendly and sweet personality was being taken over by a monster. 'Have I already begun changing? I'm not going to lose myself before I even find them will I?' Trying not to dwell on these thoughts Ama bowed to the higher ranked female. "It's a pleasure to meet you Soleil. I once again apologize for my own rudeness."
Nodding her head to Lloyd Ama decided that it was best they not hide their purpose. It wouldn't do any good to keep it a secret and it would hopefully in the long run help them. "No I don't mind but I am getting tired of the tale. Would you mind filling her in on the basics? I can retell the entire story if need be but it takes so much time to tell it all." Sighing Ama still remembered when she told Dyvolio about it and how long that had taken.

Lloyd nodded at Ama. "I shall tell her the shortest version I can think of. It is a bit of a long story." He said turning to Soleil, "You see Ama here is the last of her kind. However there are several others that have been led to believe that they aren't what they are. So Ama has to find them and bring them back." He finished and waited to see Soleil's reaction.
Soleil nodded to Ama. "It's nice to meet you too Ama and it's okay. We all get like that sometimes." She said sitting down to listen to the tale. She listened to it all and kept quiet for a few minutes when Lloyd was done. "That is some journey you'll be on." She said finally, "Do you believe the ones you are searching for are here?"

"Its a possibility. I was very young when I was separated from what's left of my family and kind. All I do know is they're not in the eastern territory." Trying to think back Ama strained her thoughts but nothing came to her. Sighing she shook her head slightly at her own incapability. She would find her sisters. They would be found no matter the cost. She would lose her mind for them if only to bring them back into this world they had been lost to. Looking up at Lloyd Ama reminded herself to ask a favor from a dear friend in this territory who she trusted more then anything. 'I need to find Starla before we leave this territory........'
