Coniden was a bold cub, and he was going on bold adventures even at his early age.
The young sir was going to take on the great, vast, frightening task of trying to cross the savanna on rocks, not touching a bit of the grass around! Oh, yes, and most hopefully of all, not setting anything on fire. Again.
Here was his very first challenge... It would be quite a leap from this rock to one.
Coniden took a breath, "I can do this, I can do this... Crouch down, feet sure--annd.... Aueeaa!" One mighty cub-bound landed him on the side of the rock, and safely scrambled up without touching the grass! "Hah! Yes, take that!" He stuck his tongue down at the offending bits of plant life. OOC: We can do far more informal than this if you prefer. I just got inspired. And amused.

OOC: Oh no, this is my kinda style. XD Arsaya's tiny paws were carrying her away from the pride, much to her father's dismay. A few flowers were grasped in her tiny teeth, some matching the white rose tucked away being her ear. Every so often she'd stop to pick another flower along the way.
A sweet humming came from her throat and there was an almost graceful dance to the way she moved, though it was full of young, innocent gentleness. Everything about her was young and innocent and gentle. She was a beautiful young lady, and she enjoyed her life.
It took a while before she noticed the other cub. She heard his voice first, and she flicked her ear, turning her head in his direction. As she did the fire caught her eyes, reminding her of her Uncle. She watched the cub for a moment, a smile playing on her lips over the flowers. He sure did look like he was having fun. Happily she trotted over to him, wondering if he'd notice her.

The next rock would be even more difficult to pounce to---but Coniden went through the same motions, crouching down low, making sure he was sure footed, coaching himself, and leeaapping across--miraculously maybe actually landing on the rock.
"Oh yeah, yeah! I did it, I can do this, take that, yeah-yea--uhg--" He had been celebrating with his own little dance-jig, but completely froze as he realized someone had been watching him.
He put up a paw, pretending to itch away something and shook a back foot like he'd gotten something on it, trying to hide his jig and embarrassment in imaginary itches and sticks. After a moment he looked up like he was just seeing her for the first time.
"Oh, uhm--Hi! Didn't know anyone was here." He sat down, using all his mental powers to try to psychically ward off any possible embarrassing comments she could make.

Setting down her flowers she giggled at his little dance, her tail waving happily behind her. She'd been just about to join in when he noticed her. Too bad, she thought, I would have had fun dancing.
As he sat down she bowed her little head, then grinned up at him. "You looked like you were having fun! How come you stopped? And what were you trying to do?" She trotted up to the bolder, raising to her back legs and steading her front paws on the rock. "I wanna try!"
She began to climb, dangerously close to his tail, as she wiggled her way up to the top of the bolder. She wasn't really afraid of falling, those she'd prefer no cuts or mud in her fur.

She also probably preferred no burn marks as well. Coniden lifted his tail out of the way and scooted back for her to join him. Well---she wasn't biting bitter or anything. So.. uhm... ah---
Really, there was no competition for a cub between staying serious and giving into silliness. He reached down to help her up, more clumsy than useful really. "It was a dance of victory, and a warning to the creatures." He waved a paw toward the grass, "The little creatures that live in the grass that are trying to eat us. You're lucky you didn't get eatted!" Then he turned and pointed with his paw in a direction, "I'm jumping from rock to rock to avoid getting eat."
He turned and grinned at her, "Wanna come?"
