Sitting upon a marble fountain edge, Elegancia sighed. Rainy days were usually so joyous, yet, for some reason... She could not enjoy this wet and cloudy day. Elegancia gingerly spinned her extravagant parasol in a wistful manner and looked about in a melancholy manner. She was just itching for attention. Back home in Celadon, people were forever surrounding her! Yet, for some reason, people did not flock to her as much in Zatao. She was pulling all the stops to get attention. In Celadon, with a single sigh, half the town would be fawning over her and asking what was wrong. As it stood, Elegancia could have bawled her eyes out, yet no one would so much as bat an eye.
How sad!

Rainy Days.
Oh how terrible they were. Soggy shoes, soaked pant legs, hair dripping away all the hair spray that once kept it tamed. If only umbrellas really did their job well.
Teddy trudged along a sidewalk, occasionally avoiding splashes from cars driving on by. Why was Teddy even walking to begin with? Oh yeah, a date going completely wrong. It would be great if Teddy could simply wish away his attraction for muscular idiots. Maybe he could buy a mystical lamp somewhere and rub it. Then a handsome genie would appear and grant him 3 wishes. Or just make love on the spot.

A young man, without so much glancing over at her, passed Elegancia by as she indulged upon herself. He appeared to be as sad as she was, yet, he also seemed a touch different. Elegancia realized his emotions, yet at the same time, she didn't care.
"Yoohoo, boy! Over here!" Elegancia looked over at him as if to invite him over to her. She realized that he was not... Of her persuasion, so to speak, but she was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. She'd get attention where she could find it.
