The whole family went to Taco Bell for dinner. They got out of Eve's car, and walked over to the building. It has been a while since they actually had a nice family outing.

After a brief shopping expedition (more Sparkle Rangers toys, mostly), Teyr had announced that he was hungry. So Ennea had rushed to the closest restaurant that served "fast food." Nervously fumbling with the purse Bernard had given her, she handed the boys some money. "Get what you want," she told them, looking around for a table.
Zwei took the money, and started eying the menu above the cashiers. He wasn't terribly hungry, but he could go for something small. Besided, he knew that Teyr would eat up most of the money.
As usually happened in restaurants, Teyr's eyes glazed over as he observed the menu. Everything appealed to him! Worse, he knew that given the opportunity, he would eat everything on the menu. But they didn't have enough money for that, so he had to decide what would make him the least hungry when he'd finished.

They all went into the Taco Bell restaurant, and got in line.
Tykier suddenly noticed that they were in front two other spawns and their family..!

The line moved up, and Teyr did not tear his attention from the menu board as he stepped forward. This was a mistake; he tripped over Zwei's tail and toppled forward. Frantic, he grabbed onto Zwei's arm to try and regain his balance.
Zwei felt Teyr trip, but couldn't really do anything about it. But he was caught by surprise when Teyr jerked on his arm. He wasn't strong enough to support the both of them, and so they swayed briefly before falling into the people behind them.

Tykier, being the easily amused spawn as he is, snickered a bit.

Keeping his eyes down, Teyr scrambled to his feet and apologized profusely to the person behind him. "Sorry sorry sorry didn't mean it sorry sorry!"
Zwei, rather irked, pulled himself up as well. But rather than apologize, he singled out the person smirking, and slithered over. "Why laugh?" he asked crossly. "Isn't funny. Someone could get hurt."

"I'm sorry, it's just that you guys remind me of when I was little..!" Tykier ruffled Tyer's hair, showing that he was actually friendly. "So, what are your names," he smiled.

Clearly not placated, Zwei folded his arms. "Not 'sposed talk to strangers," he said. He wasn't sure he liked this person.
Teyr, on the other hand, offered his apologies here as well. "Sorry!" he said quickly. "Teyr. Brother is Zwei."
"Not 'sposed talk to strangers," Zwei repeated through gritted teeth, only slightly gratified when Teyr paled and apologized again. Really, when would he learn? "Your name?" he asked the stranger finally. Now that he knew theirs, Zwei wanted something in return.

"My name's Tykier, and these are my foster parents, Eve and Stephen!" He pointed out to his parents, who waved back.
"Nice to meet you," Eve smiled.
"Hello..!"

Suddenly shy, Teyr looked up at the adults and gave a tiny wave. "Hello," he all but whispered. "Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet," Zwei said as well, his eyes still expressing his displeasure. Then, with an enormous sigh- sometimes acting polite was a pain- he pointed to a fragile looking woman trying to save an small booth. "Mother."

Tykier smiled, "Well, I never met any children from the facility like you guys..! What are your DNA parents..?" He was curious, Zwei had a snake tail, and Teyr had bat-like ears! "Mine are Wrath and Abstinence..!"

Zwei frowned. What was this guy talking about? The word facility did strike a chord, raising memories of white walls and glass panels and people in coats. But as for parents... hadn't he said that already? "Mother," he repeated, pointing again. "Only Mother. No Father."
Similarly perplexed, Teyr just nodded. "What's... Dienay?" he asked, trying to repeat the word as best he could. Maybe that would clear up the confusion.

"No, I mean like what angel and demon were you made from," Tykier explained, "see, there are different demons and angels from the Seven of Seven building... Gluttony, Wrath, Pride, Lust, Sloth, Envy, and Greed are the demons, while Abstinence, Chastity, Diligence, Patience, Humility, Liberality, and Kindness are the angels..!"

Whoa... that was WAY too many words for Teyr to keep track of. He got a little dizzy just thinking about them. From what he could tell though, it was something he was supposed to know, which made him feel guilty for not knowing. "Sorry," he murmured.
Zwei was slightly less overwhelmed. He gathered that this was something about the place they had come from. He also knew that Ennea hated that place, so any information they got would be from Bernard. "Don't know," he said slowly. "Icosa not tell us."

Ty smiled, "Just forget about that..." He looked at the menu, "So, what are you guys going to get? I'm thinking of getting 2 hard-shelled tacos and some cinnamon curly fries..."
