Here we can talk about or post literary/artistic works inspired by The Cure! I am a painter who also tries to be a writer and a musician (key word is tries lol). The Cure fills me with artistic inspiration. heart

This past semester I did a series of forest paintings inspired by different versions of "A Forest" , (the original, Blank and Jones collaberation, and one cover, I forget the name of the band). They each had their own mood 3nodding I just wish I could post pictures crying

I was doing a painting last year, was supposed to be an absract city scape, which I was having alot of trouble trying to get looking abstract and good. So I decided to put on Pornography and whamo just started to paint and it ended up being one of my best paintings from last year blaugh

I have been writing an original screenplay with my co-writer for over a year now... the main characters and the general feeling of the film was inspired one day when I was listening to:
This Twilight Garden.
That song and a picture of a gothic cemetery I had on my desktop inspired me to see what is now the second scene of our screenplay. It's a very important bit, and I never would have thought of it without help from The Cure.

I tend to spend alot of the time drawing with music on, and the majority of the works I have submitted to my DA account is Cure related/Inspired...

A while ago, Robert Smith did a guest make-up spot for Jane magazine...it was really awesome. But my roommate threw away the magazine...
