1. Luzulabloom Village. A small town that’s known for its beautiful Luzula flowers in the summer.

2. Chartreuse City. A small, yet also busy city. The first gym and contest are located here.

3. Chartreuse Forest. This and the close city were named after the way the tree’s leaves glitter in the light. Many people have gotten lost in the forest, however.

4. Fancy Estate. A rich man lives here and owns the large, Pokémon ranch next to it. Home of the worlds rarest and best Poké-eggs.

5. Burgundy Village. Well known for several tall yew trees inside the city that flying type Pokémon adore. The second gym can be found here.

6. Wilderness entrance. The entrance to the large wilderness. Do Not Enter signs are everywhere in front of it.

7. Wilderness. A large, unexplored frontier. Seeing as nobody’s been there, many say that it hides many legendaries.

8. Carmine City. A bustling city, full of rich city folk who’ve already struck it rich. The third gym can be found here. But, what’s this? The gym leader has gone missing?

9. A small, seaside home. What’s that, you say? There’s a NINTH gym located here?

10. Sepia City. The largest city of Roene, Sepia City was born to be the center of trading. Many young folk come here looking to get a start on their career. The fourth gym and second contest are located here!

11. Ochre Town. The Roene Mines are located here, as are the fifth gym and third contest. But, the road from Sepia City and Ochre Town is blocked by a rock slide! Look’s like you’ll have to take the long way...

12. Orchid Village. The only surviving monument of the Roene Dynasty, the Royal Castle still stands, where Amara, the heir to the now powerless royalty, lives. Amara, as a lover of entertainment, holds the sixth contest here.

13. Cobalt City. A rural, offset city. The fields directly north supply plenty of wheat, the city’s main export. You can take a boat here to and fro Azure City. Surprisingly, the fourth contest and the sixth gym are here.

14. Graphite Bridge. A long, beautiful bridge that is a common tourist attraction of Roene. You can only travel this bridge on a bike or vehicle. When crossing it, you can see boats from Azure City go underneath the bridge.

15. Azure City. The picturesque port of Roene. You can take a boat here to Cobalt City, Honeydew Islands, or to Emerald Island. The Roene Championship and the Roene Contest Finals are being held here! You need all nine badges to compete in the Championship, and one ribbon to compete in the Finals!

16. Team Arctic’s HQ. The tall, ominous building guards the entrance to the Jade Caverns.

17. Jade Caverns. No one has visited the caverns ever since Team Arctic came. But, if you some how get inside you’ll quickly discover an icy maze before you.

18. Honeydew Islands. The luscious resorts of Roene, people of all ages come here to sip at their mango smoothies, or bathe in their incredible hot springs. The seventh gym can be found on the right island. In between the two islands, a long rock formation stands, which spews the hot springs water. No one’s ever been inside the formation…

19. Emerald Island. A large, mostly uninhabited island full of wild Pokémon of all kinds. Near the shores of the island there are many humans, however, and the eigth gym along with the fifth contest are on the island.

Breaking News!

Sightings of Team Arctic are nearly everywhere, and Pokémon has been disappearing at the sites. The Intelligence has found a link of the vanishings, however. All missing Pokémon are of an Ice or Water element. Several witness sightings all have to do with the same few sentences.

“They threw a pokéball made out of ice at the Pokémon, even at other trainer’s Pokémon, and captured it! I could see the poor Pokémon threw the see-through ice, and it looked as if it were being tortured. Poor thing…”

No direct leads or suspects have been found.

3. As rule number 2 suggests, NO extreme romance, keep your language as mild as possible, and no describing any violence really in depth.

14. Post at least once every five days! If you don’t have a legible excuse, you will go on the gray list. If you do it again, you will go on black list and will be kicked out.

16. LISTEN TO ME. I, as the supreme forever dictator of this roleplay, demand respect!
17. I want you to write at least three sentences every post. I understand the occasional writer’s block, but short posts are one of my pet peeves.
18. I want you to be in a traveling group. You don’t have to have one right away, but it will be required a little bit into the story. Why? Because there are a lot of great roleplayers out there. Why not try interacting with them? ((2-4 people per group. PM each other and me first before making the group, however.))
19. There is a certain way I would APPRECIATE for you to post. Whenever you say the name of a Pokémon, please type it in the color of its element. ((Poison is purple, darkness is black, normal would be a beige-ish color. You get the idea.))
19.5. Please mark all sentences you say out loud in bold and type in 3rd person.
20. Check the News and OOC thread as much as you check the roleplay, please.
21. Delete the title of the application “Go Milktanks!” and replace it with “Blank blank blankity blank blank”.

How To:
Battle

Get ready, as this is important.

Whenever you battle someone, you will use this sort of format.

Person 1:

“Mareep, use thunder shock!”

Then you could describe Mareep charging it and using it. But before you post, make sure you set this action:
Roll Dice
1: 8 Sided Dice

But, this is only if the attack is affected usually. Let’s say, however, that Mareep used this attack on a Squirtle. Super effective! The action would then change to:
Roll Dice
2: 8 Sided Dice

Oh, no! Mareep used thunder shock on Bulbasaur! Ineffective! The action changes to:
Roll Dice
1: 4 Sided Dice

Whatever you roll is the damage inflicted on the other Pokémon. Every Pokémon ((not including legendaries)) has a total of 30 HP. This may change if I find a better system for health/a system for leveling that doesn’t require a ton of work.

As for the moves, I will let you use any moves that the Pokémon can learn naturally. Like, not with TMs or HMs. For a list of these moves, I would suggest going to this site and searching for your Pokémon.

Now, for the status effects. Let’s say that Mareep used thunder wave. You would use the same format as a regular move ((Super effective roll 2 8 sided dice, ineffective 1 4 sided dice, normal 1 8 sided dice.)), only if you roll anything that is 4 or higher, it is effective.

Let’s say that you were poisoned, burned, or anything that inflicts continuous damage. This will last for three of your turns, and each turn will do two damage.

If you were anything that stops you from moving ((Attract, Frozen, Paralyzed, etc.)), every turn you would roll 1 8 sided dice. Whenever you got 4 or more, it wears off and you can move again.

((Note about attract: To use it the Pokémon must be different genders.))

And if you use some sort of move that has a chance of inflicting a status effect, like Ice Beam and becoming Frozen, if you roll 6 or more, it is affected by the status effect as well.

Any other questions will be dealt with whenever they come up in the roleplay.

How To:
Be a Coordinator

To register for a contest ((the first step)), simply make your character talk to the Contest Clerk and receive a pass from her.

As for the contest itself, this may be a bit trickier.

For the first round, you will have five posts to describe your Pokémon’s moves. ((One move/combo per post.)) Be as descriptive as possible, but be realistic. For example, in the TV show ((which I rarely watch)), I saw May ((Or maybe Dawn…)) tell a Pokémon to use shadowball, then she made it explode with an icebeam, which sent sparkles every where.

… That didn’t really make sense to me.

So, yes, be descriptive but realistic. Well, as realistic as possible in a Pokémon roleplay. I will then choose two people ((If I am in the contest, I will have someone who is not decide)) to go on to the next round, where you will battle and the winner gets a ribbon.

Yay!

You will only need ONE ribbon to enter to Pokémon Contest Finals, unlike the show ((as it would take forever to let even two people get four ribbons.)) But, if you win two, you get a free egg! ((A rare Pokémon will be inside.))

How To:
Catch Pokémon

I will decide this. You can make yourself run into wild Pokémon whenever ((I will be the wild Pokémon)), and you can decide when to throw a Pokéball whenever the Pokémon has less than five health. I will then run a random number generator that can be either one, two, or three. If it is two, ta da, the Pokémon is now yours.

I will list what Pokémon are available whenever you wish to fight a wild one.

How To:

Only do this in special occasions/when you have a stone ((I will distribute a stone whenever you ask for one, but in moderation.))

Personality: For most people, the first thing they notice about Etsu is that she's snappy and sarcastic. Well, they’re right. But, if you somehow manage not to make Etsu totally despise you, you’ll find that she can be thoughtful and nice… Sometimes.

Whether it was her lack of freedom or true friends, Etsu never learned that you should treat people the way you want to be treated. She has the tough, untouchable appearance, but really, Etsu is as fragile as the rest of us. She never shows it when she’s hurt, and some could admire that about her.

Now, I wouldn’t say Etsu never gives up, but she’s strong willed and has an enormous dedication to things she really wants. Strength and determination – two of Etsu’s best qualities.
History: Etsu, originally hailing from Carmine City, never reveals much about her past. But if people ask, she always says that she’s from Burgundy Village. Why? She doesn’t exactly want everyone knowing she’s the daughter of the Okamuras, the top movie screen actor and actress. Other than that, not much happened to Etsu, besides her getting her Mareep when she was ten as a birthday gift. She only started battling with Pokémon when she recently got her Cyndaquil, however, which made her want to go out on a journey. That, and getting away from her parents.
Family: Isamu Okamura. Etsu’s father, well known throughout the Pokémon world. Gina Okamura. Etsu’s mother, although she had a kind heart, she never spent as much time with Etsu as she would have liked.

Appearance: Etsu’s straight, jet black hair falls a little bit below her shoulders. A side bang covers the right of her two amber eyes, and a smirk is usually spread across her face. A sleeveless, blue green shirt stretches down to her hips, and a black sash hangs across her waist with her Pokéballs attached. Black leggings go slightly below her knees, and then she wears simple sneakers on her feet.

Etsu is quite average, not thin, not fat, although she has slightly chubby hips. She’s a little on the short side, but make fun of her about it, and you’ll regret it; because Etsu’s stronger then she looks. But, not that much stronger, because when the shock wears off, you can usually overpower her.

History:Vince grew up in a nice home on the southern outskirts of Luzulabloom village near the water. When he was younger Vincent loved to go to the ocean-side with his father and watch the ocean. When Vince was about 7 his father had to go away for a little while for a job and he said he'd be back in about 4 days. 2 weeks passed and Vince's father never came back. Search parties were sent out to find him but he was never found. After several days of searching the gave up the search and declared him dead which sent Vince into a deep state of depression and he became very reserved and shy. His mother died a year later from losing her will to live. Vince's grandmother then moved in to take care of Vince. When Vince turned 10 his grandmother gave him a Zubat for his birthday and that made him happy for a time but he was still very shy around other people. Years went by and when Vince turned 15 his grandmother told him to set off on an adventure. He then got an Charmander and pokedex to start his adventure with.

History: Born in Cobalt City, Haruko was born into a family of breeders and coordinators. Although the rest of her family focuses mainly on coordinating, her passion has always been battle. She actually wanted a Skitty, but her father hadn’t bred any recently. Instead, she was given an Eevee who‘d been abandoned by a perfectionist Coordinator who disliked the Pokemon‘s slight discoloration. She was told that if she could care for the Pokemon on her own well enough she could keep it and go on a journey when she was old enough. As a reward of fulfilling that accomplishment, she was given permission to journey, as well as a Vulpix to enter contests with.
Family: Hatsuharu Matsumoto is Haruko’s father and is also a fairly well known breeder in the community. However he’s stepped back to let his daughter’s have a chance at making their own way and now hangs out at home. Sayeka is Haruko’s older sister and is a Coordinator using the very Pokemon her father breeds to show them off. She travels around often, collecting ribbons and hopes that one day Haruko will change her mind about not being a Coordinator.

Personality:Alex is both Mysterious, and an Enigma himself. However, he's a kind person to his friends, but he never really opens up to anyone at all. Mostly because he has no memory at all. Sometimes he would try to help others and friends to come around whenever something happens.
History:Not much is known about Alex, due to the fact that he was found washed up the shores of Luzulabloom Village at the age of ten. With no memory except his name, a family residing there decided to take him in and made him their own son. For the next three years, Alex lived among others peacefully, until he roamed across the shore lines. There he heard two voices calling him. Hearing the voices Alex's mind couldn't take it and fainted on the ground. A few hours later he woke up back in his house; realizing the fact that his parents are still out there. A year has passed and Alex finally received his trainer's license and began to leave his "home" to take on the pilgrimage that all the pokemon trainers have. Along side was his starter and his trusty sidekick Pikachu from who he calls Ash in hopes of making new friends, rivals and ultimately, find his parents.

Personality: Seth, calm and collected, always seems to have a smile on his face. It’s hard to get him down, but he’s not overly optimistic or anything. He’s more of a part realist, part optimist.

Seth likes to keep people talking, and is never satisfied with someone being content with anything. But he does know when to shut up, especially in serious situations. Torture doesn’t work well with Seth – whether it’s tickling or hurting him, you can’t get him to talk.

Unlike how most people would think, Seth isn’t very headstrong. He has a certain way of giving of responsibility, but he jokes around with the rest of us. However, he still likes to think things through, instead of just jumping into things headfirst.
History: Seth originally grew up in Sepia City, but his father’s friend was an old Carmine City gym leader. Due to a tragic incident, he died, and in his will he left the gym to Seth, who was always like a nephew to him. Seth took it honorably, and now holds up the Carmine City gym name.
Family: David Saynt, his father. Lily Saynt, his younger sister who Seth adores.

When Utheen touches water, the water instantly becomes pure and obtains unimaginable healing abilities. Women search for Utheen to heal their skin and become beautiful.

When Aslere falls asleep, a large amount of damage is dealt to the opponent every turn.
Height: 4’7’’
Weight: 174 Lbs
It is said that Aslere lives in a cavern made out of NeverMeltIce, where it never sleeps. Aslere only falls asleep when close to high amounts of normal ice. When asleep, its ice powers are uncontrollable. Only a PokéFlute made out of the purest ice can wake it up.

The local egg centers have gotten a new bunch of eggs! I’d head over quickly to nab one while you can.

The glass doors slide apart as you step inside the warm building. A woman with pink hair in an outfit similar to a nurse’s was behind a counter. When she saw you, she smiled warmly.
“Hello!” She said, “Welcome to the Pokémon Center!” You nodded at her, and then looked around the room. A small, glass paneled shelf leaned against the wall to your right. Slowly, you stepped over to it and looked inside. Eggs of all different colors and sizes sat inside the shelf. The woman began to speak again, so you looked back over at her.
“Those are abandoned Poké-eggs,” She said, clearly upset. “For some reason, people don’t want them anymore. We put them there hoping someone would take them.” There was a long pause.
“… I’ll take one.”

Check back here frequently to get your own egg! The eggs can have really anything inside them. They are in a Pokémon Center in every town, so if you want one, PM me first to reserve which ever egg you want, then roleplay your character adopting the egg. The only rule is that you can only get one egg every other batch.
