Im wondering about venoms...
I want to get them... but Ive heard theyre rather painful. Does anyone here have a set and a story they'd like to share with me?
Maybe even some information that I didnt stumble accross?

I don't have them, but I'm also considering them! biggrin
from everyone I've talked to, it shouldn't hurt more than a normal tongue piercing. However they advised to go to a REALLY good piercer that REALLY knows what they're doing, b/c if they're placed wrong you can easily hit a vein gonk DX

Well the place I go to has a bunch of piercers but I think Id only like to get it done from the boss. I know the guy semi well and hes been around.

I want venoms too...so bad heart
I think they're supposed to be more painful than the regular kind of tongue piercing due to the fact that they go through the muscle rather than the fatty streak in the middle where a normal tongue piercing goes.

But I barely felt anythign when I got my tongue pierced and Im a wuss.
So maybe they'll cancel out and just be like a regular piercing?

Maybe, guess it'll vary from person to person.

So what exactly would happen if you hit a vein? Just a lot of bleeding or some serious loss of feeling or movement type of thing?

Depends on how bad you hit it or if you hit the artery xd Then there are the nerves to talk about, hitting one of those could cause some issues

Oh bleah, I guess I'll have to talk to the piercer about it first. Make sure he knows what hes doing

Seems like it would be hell to heal. ;__; Regular tongue piercings at least go between a natural divide of the tongue muscle.

I thought it was easy to heal because it was a muscle not just regular skin or cartiledge.

So I am guessing you got them from your response in the Snakes thread:
"I got mine one at a time, if you're impatient then you can et both. Its certainly easier (if not longer) on healing if you do them one at a time."
