I read last year that Baby the Stars Shine Bright is going to open in San Francisco Spring 2009. Well that time is approaching and I haven't seen any information about that.
(Note: I've been searching around online and I haven't seen any news.)
Does anyone know any more about this?

From what I've read, the complex that the store is going to be in is not yet finished and now, due to some muck-ups with Viz and the poor economy, it may not be finished until summer/fall. o_-;

lol, It was supposed to be out since LAST SPRING. xD
You can wait and be excited but I suggest don't get hyped about it because it's over a year in delays and as far as we've heard from California lolitas, they STILL haven't finished the mall complex yet.

I believe somewhere in Little Tokyo?
If you look on the Viz site, or BABY's site, I know BABY definitely has a page where they're hiring managers for the store, so there should be an address there?
EDIT: Ok no, it's not on BABY's site yet. ;x

Yeah, last I remember someone said they hadn't even finished the framework on the building yet, so I wouldn't hold your breath on it opening anytime soon.

I was hoping that it would be open this summer. My sister and I were going to California this summer (a late B-day present from her) and we wanted to visit the store. crying Maybe we'll get to see it eventually. (I live in South Dakota...)

Baby has a post on there website looking for a store manager! and it says for spring 09, sooo Im pretty sure they are still shooting for that time.
I think they are going to open the week of the cherry blossom festival scene thats when there will be the most people in japan town, especially the malls.

lol No. If you know what a store manager does, then you should know that they are usually hired way before the store opens. It's not gonna open in Spring 09.

Does anyone know if it's going to be like a mini Harajuku? I know it's in J-Town, but I wonder if they'll have Little Harajuku or something inside of it?
