The white lioness had finally grown. She was bigger, taller, and just all around prettier. She almost felt sexy, seductive. She knew she was attractive, she had gotten her good looks from her mother, from what she remembered about her mother..
She flicked her fluffy tail, which had only grown to look gorgeous and full, much like her one time friend Feleji had.
Of course now she was sure that if they ran into each other..Her tail would be prettier.
Her red eyes gleamed as she chewed on the zebra bone. She had begun to realize how to catch larger prey..Even if this had been one that had brought itself down.

He walked forward threw the small patch of land he had claimed for himself. Giving up on the rouge part of him. So much had happened to him since he had met Val. Meeting his adoptive father for one thing- that was beyond odd. He never would have suspected that by pure luck he would have wandered into his surrounding territory.
He would have to find Val and tell her that- provided he got lucky enough to meet her again. Paw over paw he continued to do laps as if he was the centry for his one pride. As well as the hunter, storyteller, and babysitter...Oh boy he would need to get somebody else to help him do these responsiblities.
But by some random luck he picked up on the young Val's scent. Ah perfect the lass I was looking for! And he trod away from his little rock and towards her scent.

She did not notice him, she had not been trying to notice anyone. She had been traveling with a new companion. Someone she had taken in as a sister.
A little young cheetah cub named Pilate.
They had been fast friends, and now went everywhere together.
But Pilate was off on her own for a bit, and had left Val with her prize of the Zebra bone.
Sure enough, her and Pilate were eating much better now that Val was a little bit bigger.
She crunched and crunched, oblvious of the male coming towards her.

"I see you've grown." He was glad that his nose was right on the lioness that he had bumped into. You never really knew these days. Lions and meat all started smelling the same after awhile. "And your tail floof..." He paused and looked at it- a plesent smile beaming from his maw. "Is bigger then mine." He wiggled his to she her the difference in size. "I envy you now." He chuckled slightly approching slowly. The lioness DID have food and he didn't want to look as if he was going to take it from her. After all he DID just eat.

She turned around quickly, ready to fight, but his voice made her smile.
She squealed, her eyes widening.
"Feleji!" She squealed, dropping her bone and running at him. She licked his muzzle a bit. She had missed her friend. He had been nice to her, and she was always alone back then.
"Well I TOLD you Id have a good tail."
She said, waving it in the air a few times.
She snorted.
"Psh, you envy me?"
She grinned.
"You should."

He beamed at her with a purr with her touch. "Course I envy you my'dear- who wouldn't with a floof like that?!" He playfully batted at her with a paw so glad that she remebered him...and from the looks of it had feelings for him too. Oh this would be a day he was going to cherish forever. Most females found him rather odd and avoided him- but Val made him feel special. Val made him feel warm.
"I've been claiming territory for a pride- I want a safe location to raise a family." He bumbled out of his mouth not able to keep his feelings secret anymore. "I think your the most FANTASTIC female in the world."

She felt her heartbeating quite loudly as he said those things.
"Wait, Feleji, you arent asking me to be your mate are you?"
She asked, with a little knowing grin.
He had just mentioned a family..a pride.
She wasnt sure if she wanted to live amongst a pride.. She was happy with living with Pilate. But she was sure she would take a mate and have cubs.
So she knew in her heart, that they could be their own little rogue pride.
"Cause..I think youre the most fantastic LION in the world."
She beamed.

"Uhhhhh..." He paused for a long while his white face turning an obvious red. "Uhhhhhh....well uhhhhh...." He stammered out some more then nodded his head as if he just couldn't speak out the words. OF course he wanted her to be his mate. Any lion that said no to something so beautiful would just be a dummy- and he was no dummy.
"Yea well I claimed alot of land for our family. I don't want to be raising them and wondering where they are going to sleep for the night..." He then randomly interjected in his own thoughts. "I want to teach them how to hunt lizards and bugs...." He then went back to stammering again not really knowing how to properly ask anyone to be his mate- let alone the most beautiful female in the world.

"Lizards are gross."
She said with a little grin.
"But bugs can be tasty."
She rolled her eyes.
"Dammit Fel, just say it." She knew what he wanted to say, and she wasnt going to say yes without his asking.
"Im not that hard to talk to am I?" She asked, running her tail under his chin.
She smiled.
He was such a handsome male.. It made her want to just snuggle him right then.

He nodded at her with a slight squeak. "Yes! Yes! Be my mate PLEASE!" He felt intoxicated next to her like a drug. "I wouldn't want anything else then you being my mate. Would you please? Then we could raise a family together...lots of little cubs. I can't wait for that day when I get to be a father! A father!" He squeaked again at her nuzzling her tail as it passed by again.

She said, batting at his nose with a little squeal.

She said with a happy grin.

She asked giggling.
"Im sure he loved meeting you.. Hes not very nice is he."
She said smiling with a bright gleam in he reyes.

"He's the first Hyena I've actully met on personal terms. I'm rather afraid of them honestly." He purred and butted his head agaist hers lovingly. "I'm glad I met him I can see where you get your charm from. We should go and tell him it's offical. I'm sure he'll be wondering."
