Syth sat up on top of the short apartment building that gave him the view over the down town area. He couldn't help it but to smoke one of the fine cigars he was given with a pure steel lighter along side of it. They were so pure and relaxing to him but do to the fact he only had a couple for the moment he had to saver them. Threw the last couple days he had been put threw weak fights with servants and masters as well, not even well trained enough to fight him off like in the old days. Already he had killed a few in a very brutal way like the one in the library. The weak master was trying to learn anything about Syth threw a machine but Syth had cut his servant down the middle before pulling the masters head clean off with his bare hands. Wasted all that fun after that but it put a warning out towards other masters to be ready for him. Breathing in the smoke of the cigar while the flame rose up on the other end he let out a puff of smoke before watching the city below again.

How different life seemed nowadays. Far more different than could be remembered at the very least. There had been changes it seemed; to be honest it did not even feel like Fuyuki City anymore. The red-haired male continued to tell himself that even as he looked out towards the city in question. He wished it would be different from how he remembered it. The slightest change would have made his departure hold more meaning, though he supposed that was not really possible, with all things considered. Even so, he might have actually been correct in saying that something had changed about the city since his departure. He had only returned a few days ago, but Emiya Shirou, could not help but think… feel that something was off. The feeling was nostalgic, but he preferred not to think about that at the time. War was looming over this city yet again and Shirou had been thinking think that, he might have actually been anticipating this.
Waiting for this moment, since he had heard of the rumors. He could not have believed them at first, but time soon changed that for him. The Reiju was proof of such, that this was all happening again. It was far different this time. In more ways than one surely, but the most notable difference was centered on the male. It was simply a matter of servitude, and though he understood with ease how he would not have found her in his sights when his Servant was summoned, the thought of going through with this, without Saber stung him deeply. It had only been because of his father, that Shirou had even taken part in the previous war. The Sheath of Excalibur having been the catalyst that had brought forth Saber was long since gone now; he had no hopes of having being joined again with her. That was what he told himself at least.
That thought out of mind, Shirou stared out towards the city; it was dark and it was usually during this time that most servants and masters might think to operate. His ability at honing in on magical presence’s had grown rather spectacularly over the years. One might have thought that after the conclusion of the Fifth Holy Grail War, Shirou might have decided to set aside that lifestyle. However it was rather the opposite; practicing was one of the only things he found that still connected him towards the two of them. Saber and Rin. Of course he would find himself thinking of them as the faint smile surfaced upon his face. There was not a day that went by that he could not, but how much he thought about the two, was slowly decreasing. Even with the war now before him, he had tried stray from his previous memories of this destructive war and focus simply on the present. Easier said than done.
He had taken to walking now. Standing around never did help much and while he had nothing to do but simply wait, he could not afford the luxury of being in one place. He doubted anyone would think much of him as he walked along the empty streets of Fuyuki City. His mind had pondered on the thought of whether or not Servants would remember him if they were to see him. It was stupid perhaps, but if they did, would that causes them to attack? He found the idea of someone realizing he was a Master again, slim, yet he still count not help but wonder what others in this war might think if they knew he was, wandering alone. His Servant away and he open for the killing. The teen couldn't say he enjoyed the thought to be honest, but this had actually been Rin’s idea once upon a time. A Master alone would obviously seem like a trap and halt a Servant’s attack upon him. In one way or another, he was practically as safe as actually having his Servant with him. If all else went wrong, Shirou could take care of himself, before having to resort to the Command Seals upon his hand. Three years later, Shirou was not as completely helpless as he was in the previous war. While he had taken note of his role as a Master, he was still not one to leave his Servant to fight alone. They were a team… his Servant’s life was equal to his, no matter what contradiction he would get… and to be honest, he had heard quite a lot since the summoning.
His head tilting to the side simply as he walked, he could not help but allow his thoughts to trace back towards the female blonde. It was almost at that moment that Shirou's eyes widened. He stopped where he stood and tried to get a grip upon himself as he stared off towards the city. He had to be imagining things. How else would it explain how he felt he could feel the magical presence of… No, he didn’t bother ending that sentence. He was no longer her Master; they were no longer connected… yet his heart did not feel the same as what his mind repeated over and over. Maybe it wasn't her. Then again, would he have any other reason to react if it was not? The night was barely beginning it seemed, but Shirou couldn’t help but feel slightly uneasy.
“Shirou…”
His head turned slightly and the small smile appeared on his face again as his eyes fell upon her. His Servant for this war. “You’re alright? There weren’t any problems, were there?”
“No, none. The scouting was successful as I discovered a battle that ended only a short while ago.” It was unusual, how faint her voice was. Almost like a whisper as she spoke, yet her words held a sense of force behind them. Another unusual Servant, Shirou had come upon. He did seem mildly interested though as he thought about the battle. Was that what had made him stop in his tracks? A presence in that battle might have been what alarmed him so, but he couldn’t be sure.
“I guess some are eager for this war to begin. Whether that is to simply end it as soon as possible… or perhaps they enjoy a fight, I’d rather not think about just yet. Maybe though… I should go see who’s so impatient.” In truth, he wanted to confirm that he was wrong about it… about the presence he had felt. It would make things much easier, if he was wrong. If she was here again… fighting this war, it would be difficult. No… it would be impossible for him to fight her. He would do anything… fight any Servant or Master alone just as long as he did not need fight her. His hand ran through his hair simply as he began walking.
“Shirou… Master… I am not sure this is a wise idea.” She had begun following him of course, yet Shirou did not falter in his steps as he continued forward.
“Neither am I, but to be honest, I’ve never been all that good at keeping to the shadows. You’ll just have to trust me, this one time.” He couldn’t help think back to the past war; remembering all the times he had attempted to sneak around getting himself caught. There were definitely great things about those times… He was being rather selfish to be doing this so early on in the war. Yet Shirou was not the same, weak magician as he was before. Whether or not he could hold his own to a Servant was now debatable; not as foolish, but at the same time, that Shirou that was strong on his beliefs. Still the same ‘Hero of Justice’.
A silent sigh, before a “as you wish.”

Zilva walked through the city a large cloak hiding her form from view. She had summoned ye to summon a servant fr this war but she felt as if she did not want to. The past wars had never ended well for her family in fact the most recent member had gotten her arm cut off and her servant stolen. She touched her Noble Phantasm Fragarach. "I can defend myself from an stry servants I should be fine"

Syth felt it suddenly, the presence of two... three people near by but he did nothing but smoke his cigar. He could kill them easily if he wanted to but what was the fun in that? N, instead he would wait for them to come to him instead of him to going to them, besides in his past that was all he ever did. "Come to me, come see death that awaits you." he said to him self and grinned.

"Hmmm?" Zilva's head turned as she sensed something. She looked up spying someone on top of a short apartment building. She looked seeing a ladder against the building. Climbing to the top of the ladder she leapt off landing on the roof behind the person. "Who are you? You don't seem human?" She grasped the hilt of Fragarach ready.

“Shirou, what’s the matter?”
He was suddenly clutching his chest as his breathing grew slightly heavier. There were more magical presences within this area than he had cared to realize. Apparently they were quite able at masking themselves, but still, shouldn’t he have noticed before hand? He frowned slightly before shaking his head. His eyes were looking around; the feeling in his chest somewhat directing him towards the destination of the… two individuals. “I guess our priorities have shifted for now. Are you ready?”
His Servant frowned as she stepped beside him; watching his hand carefully, before seemingly staring off into the distance. For a moment she said nothing, but it took her little to no time at all to pinpoint what Shirou couldn’t. It was odd that she, herself had not noticed earlier; her prior focus being on the battle that was to be had. She frowned and lowered her gaze; she could not afford to make mistakes like this. She still had her wish… she would not let Shirou down again as she turned towards him. “Master, your orders?”
Shirou’s hold on his shirt lessened before a slight sigh escaped him. He lifted his head to smile somewhat weakly and nodded. “Scout please. Don’t engage though, unless you have no choice. If we don’t need to fight right now, then we won’t.” The Servant took off, into the air. Her feet carrying her swiftly before she landed atop a rooftop; her presence immediately began masking over as she stared down upon the two individuals.

Syth didn't say anything to them. He sat there for a minute more before getting to his feet. "Well then look what we got here. A master and a Servant." He told them before laughing a little. He was hoping for this and now it had come true, he was going to have a little fun with them. "So which one would like to go first? The master or the servant?" He asked them as his sword formed into his hand, a long thick blade with a syth like blade coming out of one side as he laid it on his shoulder.

Zilva stood drawing forth Fragarach. The rare Noble Phantasm had yet to be bonded with a Servant and as such remained Zilva's weapon. The deadly blade gleamed a bit from the blood it had soaked in. She had all ten uses at the moment but if she used them all she would have to soak it again and wait a month for it to charge. "I do not know who you are but I'm not a master or a servant..I can fight my own battles" She pointed the weapon at Syth waiting for him to attack.

Syth only laughed at the words she spoke of. "not a master or even a servant? Then you must be a fool." he told her. "If you fight your own battles then go ahead, make the first strike if you think your so tough." He moved a little of his shirt to show her his neck for a good clean fight and waited.

The servant watched carefully as the two seemed prepared to do battle. She remained silent, hiding in the shadows. She was unsure what Shirou would decide to do, but she had her orders. She had no obligation to participate in this bout and to be honest, the words the male spoke, made her somewhat disgusted that he could be a Servant. She would have preferred to follow her master, however she was obedient. She couldn’t fathom going against his wishes, unless he ordered something horrendous of her. The faint sigh escaped her as she reverted to her spiritual form. Things would be far easier and she would go unnoticed this way.

"Quite...very well then" Zilva leapt forward Fragarach stabbing forward. The strike would be fatal if it connected. If it did connect she would leap clear readying her blade for another strike. "I'm not so weak that I can't beat you"

He didn't move a bit but just smiled as she stabbed towards him then stabbing him in the chest but the joke was on her as he grabbed the blade by his bare hand, holding it there in one place. "To bad, you were so close in killing me." he joked and laughed.

"Don't let your arrogance get the best of you now" Zilva tugged on the blade a bit the keen edge loosening itself from his grip. "Now then what are you going to do?' She waited her weapon slowly freeing itself.

Shirou’s feet were pushing him forward as he ran along the street. His servant would manage without him… or so he hoped. He had only told her to scout and pay attention to the fight. It was unusual but this war was already becoming far more different than the previous war. His heart pumping faster and faster as he made his way towards the original presence he had become aware of. Maybe he was thinking too much about this? What if he was wrong and he came to find he meeting a different Master and Servant. Without her with him, he would be in trouble no matter how skilled he had become, these three years. “Am I making a huge mistake…? All of this just to see if you’ve returned.” He frowned slightly as he shook his head; he couldn’t imagine why he was suddenly feeling against this. His feet came to a stop as his head turned back in the direction of the fight, currently progressing. “… Haven’t I changed at all?” His fists clenched as his feet were in motion again. He had never abandoned Saber. If she was back, they would meet when the time was right.
She was watching… it was almost unusual to see a human attacking a Servant as this girl did. Yet it was not the first time, she had heard of such a person. Shirou… had he not been like that in the past? Always placing others before himself? Even now he was that way… he was strong for it, yet at the same time, it did show weakness. He could easily be killed that way, but he had yet to care for that.

Syth didn't loose his smile, even when he threw the blades tip to the other way and grabbed the girl by the neck, lifting her up off her feet like a doll. "You know, you humans now and days are nothing compared to us servants but you think you can fight us and even kill us, it's a pity really." he suddenly felt another coming closer but even better he felt a servant, a true servant was close by. "More people wanting to fight!? how wonderful."
