Adhara held tightly onto the little bag of prenatal vitamins that she'd been called down to get the other day, walking down the halls with no real idea where she was going. She hadn't exactly made herself at home in this place, though she was probably less uncomfortable here than most other children her age. She glanced around, dropping both arms and sighing softly. Yeah, she knew she was in the medical wing, but she had no idea where she was in relation to the exit. Which was a problem.

Ciaran was once more singing in his white room as he had slipped in to insanity. But it wasn't as deep as it once was, as he knew that Luthor was here and would visit him as much as he could, which gave confort to Ciaran that he wasn't abbandoned by everyone. He was getting a little tired of this room, and the only thing the helped releave the bordom was for this feet to play with his tail as his arm were once more buckled up to where he couldn't use them. His anger for tech had only grown over the time that he had been here and for adult in general too. But in his frame of mind he really couldn't act out but to confuse them with the way he talked.

It was mostly the singing that caught her attention, though the need to have something to do didn't help her keep her weak train of thought anyway. Bright yellow eyes blinked a couple times, before Adhara started looking around the area of the building, until she was going in a direction that was making the sound get even louder.
She hop-skipped to the room that it was in, but peering through the little barred window did not give her a view of what she expected. Her eyes widened slightly as she stared at the boy -only around her age- who was laying in the room, in a straight jacket of all things. She was having a bit of trouble looking away as she wrapped her hand around one of the poles, staring in the room blankly.

Still contuneing to sing as his tail weaved back and forth with a mind of its own. Knowing that there was someone at the door, but not really giveing it too much attention as so many of the tech would go by to look into the room and if need be come in to eather give him food or change his bandges and that was all they did. The door was unlocked as the lock was broken by his first visitor since being here and the techs didn't care to fix it.

Adhara snapped herself out of her hypnotized state and tugged at the door a bit, as though expecting such an action to be to no avail, only for it to open easily, surprising her quite a bit. She glanced to either side, as though checking to make sure that there weren't any techs around that would likely reprimand her for still being here, before she slipped into the room and knelt beside the boy, a bit concerned, not knowing if she should say anything, or even be here.
"Um... h-hello?" she said nervously, crinkling the bag in her hands just a little bit and watching the boy with concerned eyes.

Ciaran stopped his singing as he heard the door opening and thinking it was just another Tech comming to do something, but seeing it was just another like him and simmiluar to his first visitor. Turning around to sit down on his butt and looked the other over with his own yellow eyes that gave the look that he wasn't all the way at home in the head.
"Hello, came to visit in this shaddered world?" he said motioning to the white room they were in. With is tail weaving all over the place.

Adhara sharpened her gaze slightly, making eye contact with the boy only to find that he... really wasn't seeing her, was he? Well, maybe he was seeing her, but her presence didn't seem to be registering the same way that it would with most of her peers.
"Shattered...?" she asked slowly, glancing around the room and shaking her head a bit, smiling weakly at the boy. "I suppose I am. What's your name...?" Of course, she wasn't sure whether or not to expect an answer. Sure, she hoped for one, but for all she knew, this boy didn't even know who he was. Or even... "What are you doing here?"

A small part of his brain was trying to tell him to act like he normal was and just except the learned loss, but it was lost with the shattered mind and soul. Also he was wondering why he existed and if there really was a need for him in the world, only added to his insanity.
Useing one of his feet like you would a hand and rested his chin as he tried to think on an answer and head slightly back and forth. "Yes...Like a mind and soul that are broken by learned truths," he answered with a slightly clear mind but just for a second as he jumped up to his feet and pointed to himself with one of his feet. "I be Ciaran and who you be?" he asked as his tail feathers spread in and out. Then tilting his head to the side and eyes that narrowed. "I was betrady by those I loved and put in here by them. All becasue I learned I would never have the one thing I envyed the most and also for trying to make myself more beautiful." he answered as he leaned back and fell on to the padded floor with a muffled thump.

'Envy...' Adhara restated to herself, shaking her head. This was what those stupid techs got for messing around in matters that didn't concern them. Children who were too pure to handle their demonic side, yet not demonic enough for it to completely overpower their angelic side, but too much for their angelic side to be overpowering. Half and half didn't seem to make a whole in this situation.
Reena, overprotective as she always was, stretched out to pet the side of the boy's face softly. She gave a weak smile. "I'm Adhara," she said politely, Niita wrapping around her stomach and grabbing onto her little brown bag to keep it safe. She fluffed up her wings a bit, before pulling them tightly against her back again. "I'm sorry to hear that," she whispered softly, fidgeting a bit. She felt as though she should be able to do something, but she... couldn't. She didn't know what to do at all.

Ciaran gave a purr as the side of his face was petted by Reena, a very weard responce but some what normal for him and it snaped him out of his insanity as it was always kindness that would. As he wasn't getting any of it from the techs or from his own mother.
Tilting his face towards Reena as a way of trying to return the petting but without the use of his arms it was all he could do even if it was a little weard. "Its nice to meet you," he replied as looked as her and returned with a warm smile of his own as now he was sane for now. Ciaran did hear the sound of her wings and flinched ever so sligtly and would never really look at them even if they were beautiful. "Its ok, its now something that I have to live with." Ever so watchful of his surroundings and knowing what was going on even when insane. Seeing that she was fidgeting. "You are doing more that you know, Adhara so don't worry too much. Things will work out in the end." he said. As the saying always went, its darkest before the dawn.

Reena seemed surprised at the return of affection and doted on the boy without even a second thought, snuggling against his cheek and petting his hair. Niita, jealous of such affection being given only to his sister, poked out a bit meekly to prod at one of Ciaran's feet, rather out-of-character behavior for the normally overly-enthusiastic ligament.
"It's nice to meet you, too, Ciaran," Adhara replied sweetly with a soft smile. She chuckled a bit. The boy was a realist, she would at least give him that. Not too pessimistic, not too optimistic either. Not something that she could say for herself, though, but that was a different story. "I certainly hope so," she said with a light chuckle. Those words held more advice in them than Adhara would readily admit, for more than just his situation.

Ciaran just had to giggle as it seamed another liked playing with his hair, well he would just have to grow it out longer to make it more fun to play with as he also liked playing with his own hair, well when his arms were free. It felt so nice to get affection and part of him wished it would never end, but he knew that Adhara would have to leave eventurally, but he was going to enjoy as much as he could until then. Feeling a poke as his feet he looked down to see a nother tentical that wanted to have some petting as well. It was good that he had gotten so use to useing his feet as hands and gave Nitta some petting with one of his feet and also finding it funny he was doing such a thing.
He returned that smile with one of his own. "So do I." As he thought of the techs and how cold they were. "I sertanly don't want to spend my life living here." indicateing this room, tho he would be fine if it was closer to his other friend. "Could you unlatch the arms from this jacket for me," he asked moving his arms a little. "Don't worry I won't tell. I think its fun to watch the techs squrm a little." he said with a little smerk tho he just wish there were more shadows were he could scare them too.

Niita happily snuggled against Ciaran's foot for a second, before shifting his attack to tickling the bottom of the boy's foot happily. Adhara giggled a bit, sticking her tongue out at the tentacle. "Niita, don't do that," she joked, though she didn't think that the little boy really minded all that much. She blinked a couple times at the request, but shrugged and chuckled a bit.
"'Course I can," she replied easily, walking around the boy on her knees and figuring out how to unbuckle the thing through a lot of trial and error, Reena and Niita taking the oppourtunity to hug the boy against Adhara's chest tightly, one still playing with his foot and the other still running through his hair as best it could. Finally, Adhara got the sleeves undone and smiled brightly. "'Kay! There you go~"

Ciaran like the feeling of her tentical, Niita on his foot as it was so soft. Then started to giggle himself as he was getting his foot tickled as he didn't mind as it was good for him to laugh as he felt more normal as it was fun and his foot twiched as it was getting tickled too. "Your going to have to stop, Niita if Adhara is going to unbuckle my arms," he said through his giggleing.
Recovering from the tickleing as Adhara tryed to figure out his jacket. Blushing a bit when he was huged and just had to smile as he didn't know that her tenticals were so friendly, the others that he had seen had just stayed at the boys side. As he slightly contuned to purr as he heard the latch snap off and his arms came free. "Thanks," he said as he pulled one arm of of the very long sleave and started to roll them up. One both sleaves were rolled up just past his wrists and clean white bangages could be seen around them. Then he got up and gave Adhara a hug. "Thanks once more." he said once more as one of his hands when to go and touch Reena. "So what brings you here? Before you got destraced by me." he asked.

Adhara didn't hesitate to smile at the thanks, a few of her feathers fluffing up a bit happily. "You're very wel- come... Ciaran..." she said, her speech jerking into a slow, unsteady pace when his sleeves were rolled up to reveal the bandages strapped to his wrists, making her heart thrum painfully. Oh no- was she really supposed to have done that? She just hoped that nothing else would happen to the poor boy...
Reena and Niita hugged him back happily and Adhara shook herself out of her taken-aback state to hug the boy as well, smiling softly. She pulled back and sat on her knees, looking up at the boy before chuckling a bit, showing him the little paper bag. "Actually, I was here getting vitamins for... my baby," she said, a gentle blush coming to her face, as usually happened when she talked about her pregnancy. "They're supposed to be good for development and stuff is what the tech said." Reena reached out eagerly when Ciaran reached out to her, butting up against his hand affectionately, happy to be paid attention to.
