you can google pleco and find lots of differnt ones. Tank size I say 30 gallons for a "small one" 6 inches at most and 55 gallons for a bigger one. From my experience they poo too much and it's a sort of eye sore if you don't clean it enough

i'd say about the same really D: since all they eat is plants their poo doesnt break down as fast because of the cell walls and leaves all this stringy looking stuff around the tank. i have seen tanks that look like the substrate is some dirt but its actually pleco mess and it will sometimes hang around for weeks

yeah if you dont have a big enough tank or you arent willing to clean up their mess its best to leave em to someone else XP there are some REALLY pretty ones
i do know of the gold nugget pleco its very pretty but i remember its a pleco and let it be no matter how small it is now

if ver got one i would want a big one, so i know my tiny 10gal woulndnt work at all.
also what are the best fish brands and what are the worst, like with reptiles the best brand is zoomed on most things and flukers is the worst with almost everything. ive seen the same sort of good brand bad brand issues with alot of animals so im wondering about fish brands

i buy tetra food and water conditioners i also buy API and kent things for the water (ammonia lock, slime coat, ect) i think its all pretty much the same stuff.
i think all you REALLY have to worry about as far as food is that if you have a carnivore its getting particularly meaty foods, herbivores are getting plant based foods, and omnivores are getting a mix.
