For Danuwa and Harlequin only please don't post without permission *continuation to in thread rp*  Danuwa closed his eyes as Harlequin touched his cheek. She was warm and her scent calmed him even though at times he had problems seeing her with his cursed vision. He wished he could tell her what she really meant to him, but it wasn't his place or the time.
Harlequin had been through a tough break up, left with foals to raise and now they had grown and she was worried about being alone. Danuwa wouldn't let it happen, but he would let things take its course his deepest fear was that she might fall in love with someone else. At least now he got to be with her, but if she found love that was it for him. She wouldn't need him anymore and he would just die if that happened.
"I promise everything will be alright." Danuwa said nudging Harlequin.

A promise from Danuwa was that of gold. Her dear friend had never lead her astray, not even once. He had always been there for her, to guide her, to help her. A promise from any other soquili would have meant nothing to Quin.
Though it was a promise from Danuwa, a small portion of herself couldn't help but fear that she would be alone once again. She had been alone for so long in her wanderings, in her eternal search for Oba when they had been together, that being a mother had been a welcomed relief from her solitude. She had the little ones around her, needing her always, even though she had no clue what to do. And then there was Danuwa, he had aided her in her time of need. He had stood by her side and had helped her raise her children, even though they were not his own. Being around others for so long she could not now imagine returning to the still and silence of being utterly alone, and she prayed that Danuwa would be right.
She returned his comforting nudge with a playful n** to his ear. "I hope that you are right, Danuwa. I truly do."

"Hey now!" Danuwa laughed playfully nipping back at her hoping to get her mind off of any problems that might still loom in her head if even only for a moment.
Unless Harlequin told him to leave her alone she would never be able to return to solitude. Danuwa had loved their time together as much or even more so then Quin, he did not wish to return to being alone either.
"I see how it is!" Danuwa said hoping to his hooves before nipping at her mane lightly and darting off. "When the foals are away big kids can play!" Danuwa shouted hoping she would give chase or something. He wasn't sure what he was doing, but he wanted her to smile and he wanted her to be happy. He had always been rather to proud to act like this, but around Quin he felt like he could to what he wanted and be free not to be judged by her.

"Hey!" Quin exclaimed as Danuwa suddenly nipped her mane and dashed off. She had never seen him this way. He had always been so solemn, self controlled, dignified. Now he was here actually playing. It was a sudden change, one Quin hadn't been ready for, least wise from him, but it wasn't an unwelcome change.
"Get back here!" She shouted after him with a giggle as she leaped to her hooves and gave chase. He was quick, quicker than she could have ever imagined, but that didnt stop her from trying to tag him.
