Leana had begged every hour of everyday for the last two weeks until her Papu agreed to take her to the ‘pool’ as her friends put it. Tanz and Beast were really cool, they knew all this cool stuff that she would have never thought of. She didn’t think that there would be such places with all this water indoors.

Usually places with walls and roofs were boring and dusty, but the ‘pool’ was very awesome. She tried dragging her Papu into the water, but he really didn’t want to swim, he would much rather talk to all the ladies barely wearing any clothing.

Silly Papu, Leana thought to herself, swimming was so much more fun than talking to people. She would swim under all the little ropes and try swimming with the other kids, most of them wanted to ride her, because she was such an awesome swimmer. But she only let the nice ones do it she didn’t like her hair pulled or to be help under when she went up for air. She might be able to hold her breath for a while, but she still needed to breathe.

She wasn’t a fish.

Otto had given her a shirt and small skirt to wear in the water, so no one got on his case about showing delicate baby parts in a public place. He was just glad to get away from work and not have to watch over more than one brat, Shiri and Neil tried to get him to take Tanz and Beast as well, but he told them he was taking a vacation day so they couldn’t bug him too much.
