Personality: Neo is a loyal male. Even though he isn't with his parents any more, if they needed him, or any of his friends, he would be there in a moment to help. Personality: Jinan is a warm-hearted and gentle lion, always thinking about others before himself. Raised in the country, He is quite old-fashioned but is not adverse to 'catching up with the times'. He can also be oblivious to sarcasm/flirting/stuff like that, but it doesn't take long for him to catch on.
A true southern man, he speaks in a deep southern accent.
Brief Bio: Jinan lived a very normal life. He never really knew his father and was raised by his mother along with a sister. They lived in a small den until Jinan decided to set out on his own during his teen years.
He wandered around for a few years, returning to the den and finding his mother alone, old and on her deathbed. But he made sure to take care of her the best he could until the day she died. He attempted to find his sister, but failed miserably. He continued to wander about until he found his best friend, Neo. He stuck around his friend for a bit, meeting his mate and sons. For a while Jinan kept wandering until Neo asked him to become his advisor and join the pride. Jinan happily accepted and went to live with them. He watched Neo and Aine expand their family; their children grow up and get cubs of their own. He took care of the little ones as if they were his brothers and sisters. He patrols the borders at least twice a day and monitors anyone who crosses in.

Personality: Alem has a tendency to take control over a situation. That is if someone else is unwilling, or unable, to step up. He knows his place well. Alem is also very protective. Whether it is a friend, an adoptive family member, or an almost complete stranger, Alem is willing to defend them. He is also a normally honest character. He does have a tendency to lie about his true feelings, though.
Brief Bio: Alem does not remember much about his father. He only knows that his dad had cheated on his mate with Alem’s mother. Both of these lionesses got pregnant around the same time. When the cubs were born the jerk took Alem’s siblings and intergraded into his real mate’s litter.
That left Alem alone with his mother, whom he looked the most like. She decided to find a new home for herself and her son, so they started on a trek through the desert. It was the easiest way to escape the lion who had wronged them, after all.
Throughout their journey, Alem could only watch as his mother got weaker and weaker. She was used to plush lands and cool air, but the desert offered none of these. When finally she could go no further, she urged her son to continue anyways. She wanted Alem to find a place to call home. So he continued on, with her memory in his heart.
