Hello there and welcome to my pride interest thread.

No fancy banners and such, Just a wish to create a pride for one of my most beloved lions, Gaara.

We don't really like rules, but we need them to keep things in check, right? Please note these are just rules for this thread, not the pride ^^;;; Still workin out the kinks in those.

1. As always, Follow all Gaia and Shop Rules.
2. Respect. This is a big one. Respect me, my lions, and everyone who posts here.
3. Ideas to help me run this pride/get it going are MUCH appreciated...but please don't be offended If i don't put your idea into practice. Doesn't mean i didn't like it =)
4. If you have a question about the pride/Gaara/Any member, don't be afraid to ask ^.^

The very heart of the desert.
Hot days and cold nights, very little rain. Winds that can conjure up strong funnels of whirling sand and just enough cover from the blistering sun. Water is seemingly absent, and large prey species are few and far between. Skeletons of those too lost to find their way to the water litter the landscape, as do dead trees and sand dunes. Death awaits those unprepared to survive here.
But even in this barren landscape, life finds a way.
Beneath the very ground is an oasis of water. Reptiles, small mammals and birds flourish here and the few species of plantlife can heal many sicknesses. The sand is warm enough from the day to keep one warm at night, and under the rock clusters have been dug several dens to protect from the sun if needed.

Here is where the survivors reside.

The pride in itself is simply a home. A village of sorts. King? There is no king. There is the Kazekage, his assistant, the small council and many others. No one is turned away when they need protection and the evil-intentioned are quickly disposed of. Treaties are formed with neighboring prides, Allies kept close and enemies watches closely.

Emotionally withdrawn and all but silent, Gaara Is someone one would love to have as an Ally. Fiercely protective of those who depend on him, he will stop at nothing to keep those around him safe from outside dangers...and the ones that come from within.
He knows full well what it's like to have little to no family or protection, having been targeted for various assassinations and having been alone for the majority of his life.

The purpose of the Council: To meet with the Kazekage and decide how to best run the territory, which prides to ally themselves to and to enforce rules.

✖Personal Assistant
The Kazekage's right-hand man/woman. Informs him of any unrest in the pride and deception in the council. Is there to rule and enforce orders when he is not around or is too busy to do so himself.

✖Council Elder
'Elder' is simply a title. Whether the lion is old as snot or just reaching adulthood, it does not matter as long as they are responsible. The one who will head the council and decide on what to discuss when meetings are arranged. Will work closely with the personal assistant.

✖Council Member (x3)
A member of the council. Will meet whenever the Kazekage orders so and discuss policies and many other things. Must be responsible.

✖✖The High Ranks✖✖
While they have no special title, these lions will play an extremely important part in keeping the pride safe and healthy.

✖Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai
Also known as the Special Assassination and Tactical Squad. There are two Subgroups to this position;
Captain: Leads the squad around the territory during routine patrols and coordinates during wars and battles. Takes orders directly from the Kazekage and only him unless he is absent, then will take them from the Kazekage's assistant. Basically the lead warrior.
Squad Members: As a member of the squad, works directly under the captain.

✖Medics
Extremely important to the survival of the entire pride, being a medic requires high intelligence as well as excellent knowledge of herbs and remedies to cure illnesses. It also doesn't hurt to have the ability to cure others. May also accompany the 'Warriors' on patrols and missions to ensure a higher survival rate.

✖Hunters
The title says it all. The Hunters Find food and inform of the location.

There are no other categories for this, As they are simply -here-. Under the protection of the Kazekage and the pride. Under this category falls cubs, Denmothers, Normal members, and visitors.
