She lay snuggled in her little glen-sleeping soundly while her children played quietly not far away. She had not let them out of her sight-though she was slowly trusting everyone more and more-now that they were getting bigger. Her olive form was stretched out amongst the bit of sunlight that came through the trees above. She was usually asleep at this time anyway-so there was nothing new about her slumber. Her crimson eyes rolled in her head slowly-her paws twitching as in her dreams-her seeress powers began to storm in her mind-tearing at her.
She stood before him, not much older than a juvenile. He was dark colored, red eyed and marked like the Umo bloodline. He was a young uncle of her's. She gazed down at him, as he stared past her-his tail swaying slowly. She looked down at him, her dark nose close to his-sniffing... no smell. She guessed he was the latest litter of her grandfathers. There was something in his eyes that made her throat tighten-something hidden among the form of a baby.
She stepped around him-looking down to him with slow determination. Who was he-why was he in her dreams? She reached forward and swiped at him-only to sigh... she couldn't touch him.

Ukoo sat down before the little boy and sat in thought-her crimson eyes shut behind her raccoon markings. What was the purpose of showing her him? She looked down at him slowly.
He stood and grew before her eyes-a sneering smile across his face. He stood proud and strong, his grey pelt shining in the light-his crimson eyes blazing. He laughed silently at nothing-his teeth pearly white against his muzzle. He made a quick attacking move in some enemy she couldn't see-his mouth laughing. He then ducked down and swiped, catching something with his paw. HIs head disappeared for a moment-
-it came back covered in blood. Ukoo gasped, wildly scrambling back from him. She shook her head quickly, tying to get his image from her mind-but he simply stood there and licked his lips with pleasure. He then-was gone.

IN a mannor of seconds-another person came into view. Only this time-she was surprised to see that it was her mother before her. Ukoo smiled so widely that she thought her face may split in two. It had been so long since she had seen her mother-that her heart beat so fast that she could feel it in her throat.
"MOTHER"! She squealed excitedly, her body wriggling side to side. But, then some stranger came forward and rubbed against her Mom-a male... someone that wasn't her father. "Mother! Where is father?" She asked, though Mom could not hear her. "Is father with you anymore? Is that it?" She tried moving around her and him to see if there was anyway to see it better. "What happened to him? Where'd he go? Mother?"
Before she knew it, two little babies waddled out gleefully. Ukoo gazed at them in surprise. Cubs! Her mother had babies with this lion. Ukoo felt both happy and sad-for these were siblings with someone new. Had father-died? She looked at the two little ones and smiled. "Oh mom..."

She was full of questions.
'Are these new babies with this male Mother? Is he my father now too?" She asked, her crimson eyes brimming with tears. "Oh mother, I am glad to hear you are happy and have babies but I am sad-what happened to him? Where is my father!" She looked down to the darkest of the two babies, winged marks on her. "They are so pretty mother!-"
"-You are a grandmother Mommy... I have three babies now! Isn't that great?" She asked, though no awnser would come. She knew this-but felt better asking such things. "-THey look like me mom... they are going to be apart of this pride i live in now... I am happy here-though sometimes I am sad or lonely... but A cousin is here! HIs name is Toshiro... He is apart of Daddies family..." She sat down next to the small group. "He is cruel and heartless but... I guess he is better than none at all-hopefully someday I can see you again Mom.:" She shut her eyes as the image left her.

She sat sadly alone for a few moments-her woe and sorrow overwelming her. She lay down quickly and burried her head under her paws. So much was going on without her-nothing seemed to have changed since her-going missing. She began to cry and writh in her sorrow-nothing. She was the only who had changed. She lifted her head in surprise at hearing a voice.
"Kinamasi!"
She stared at a brown male she had never seen before. He bore pink eyes and a few markings that resembled her family. Then it hit her-Tope. Her older uncle whom left suddenly after a fight with her grandfather. Kinamasi was the name of her mother-were they together.
Then, a little cub, light brown like he and bearing the markings of him-padded up him and beamed. "Yes daddy!"
Ukoo smiled, she had more family now. This little one was named after her Mom... that was certain.

She felt a bit happier at this great news-he was happy then and had a mate then. Ukoo felt immense accomplishment at this and stood up-watching father and daughter play for a moment. She felt the same affection for her own babies-whom she knew would be waking up soon now. She looked over her shoulder-then back. Tope and Kinamasi were gone.
And her grandparents were there-sitting side by side. They looked so old now-but they were happy no doubt. Ukoo smiled, watching them talk quietly to one another in hushed voices. How adorable.
"Grandma... grandpa"

Ukoo watched them lean against one another, obviously in love still after all these years. After all the torment and sorrow that had occured. She stepped foreward and tried to lean herself against them in comfort-a smile crossing her face. Someday, she may see her family-but for now-her dreams would show them for her.
She blinked and before her sat her brother aboina. She smiled-a famiy member who shared her genes... the seer powers surged in him as well. He was grown-like she, and happy. In a land she didn't recognize. But he had spoken of leaving to go somewhere else if she remembered correctly. So this was him now-all happy and peaceful.
She enjoyed seeing him like this.

She stood up and compared herself to him, she was smaller by far... but simlilar in many ways. "My brother-one that I shared so much with. I am glad to see you have a home in which makes you happy as well. I am well... I wonder if you can see me or hear me.. I wish you could. I miss you... I miss everyone.
I miss Mother and Father, I miss Grandma and Grandpa, I miss my cousins and family members that I have not met... I miss everything about everything I can't remember... I barely remember any of it. I have been here for so long-since I was itty bitty! Have you had children too brother." She beamed. "I hope they are as handsome and charming."

"Oh. I sometimes I wonder what my life may have been like if I had not been taken... what I may not have and have had... I may have not had my babies... whom make me so happy. With them, I am everything to them-I have family again... There is no father but I am fine with that... they need none... I am both for them. And the pride..."
She looked over her shoulder again and whens he gazed back, they were gone. But she did not stop talking. "The pride are actually the best thing I think... they help raise the babies-everyone does... this must be where I belong then-this is... my home."
She lowered her head.
"I am lonely sometimes and then sometimes I am happy. Sometimes things don't go as I would like but... I make due... because I have too... because I am Ukoo.

She twitched awake, her eyes snapping open quickly. She lifted her head, looking around wildly but quickly she relized where she was and what had happened. She looked around-seeing her babies dozing not far away.... she must not have been making noise in her dreams. She smiled at them-remembering everything in her dreams perfectly and was happy
She stood up slowly, shaking herself quickly and padding towards her babies. Here she belonged-if she could see her family once and a while-she would be content.
"Sorry darlings... Momma fell asleep." She said softly, padding to them and taking on the part of Mother once again.
