Chernabog roamed the land right past his territory border, his mood was level today as he examined the vast meadow. He was pondering weather or not to mark a new boundary line to claim more of the meadow. He lifted his head and grinned as his nose twitched up against it's metal confine. His chest puffed as he inhaled deeply and chuckled.
"I wouldn't suggest it Kalama...unless of course if you desire me so much that you would enflame me to ravage you once more?"
He grinned and his fangs flashed in a deadly second row beneath the metal ones provided by his mask. He turned slowly with a lazy grace, his ruby eyes moved over the Alpha female who stood tall glaring at him.
"You weren't going to try anything so uselessly stupid were you? Don't you know that revenge is a dish best served cold my dear?"

Jewel green eyes bore into the back of her enemy, his mocking words rang in her ears and made her chest tighten. She could still remember how it felt and it filled her with revulsion. Her legs quivered with the desire she had to spring on his back and attempt to end him. Still, he was right even if she was loath to admit it would be stupid to attack him.
Such a monster she had never seen, but what she saw that day she would never forget. The dark shape that had appeared on the meadow that day caused no alarm...until the young ones began to howl their terror.
"I will wait for time to pass...and I will have my revenge. I will see you dead, I will see you suffer, I will see justice for all those you have wronged Goblin King."
She snarled and moved closer trying to show no fear, yet her heart quivered. How could she help it? She knew what this monster was capable of...she knew she was alone because of him. Her heart reminded her that she not indeed alone, her sister was out there somewhere...all that remained of her pack.

Chernabog threw back his head and laughed before shaking his head. "Silly little fool, I would relish your challenge if I could take it seriously. How long has it been Kalama? How many have you found? You fail your pack...your precious jewels..."
He shook his head and became somber his eyes narrowing on her. "I let you and yours live to see another day, yet now I wonder if you can provide any challenge at all...."
He moved lightning quick, fangs flashed and he held her throat with ease between his jaws. Metal fangs clipped her fur away, while his own white glistening teeth exerted pressure. He smirked and released her after a second and sat back.
"No...you have fire in you, I would see you succeed in this attempt at sweet revenge."

Kalama listened in confusion before her eyes widened, she looked at the Goblin King with a stunned expression. Found? Did he know of her sister? Or had he left others of her pack alive like her? Why hadn't they come to her then? Where were they?
"The others live?" She echoed in shock before gasping as he grabbed her. She tried to twist her head away but it was too late, she left the slight crush against her neck and held still for the second before he released her. She snarled and backed away from him the smirk a cruel taunt. How could she have let her guard down? The shock that her pack mates might still be alive had rendered her foolish.
"You allowed the others to live, yet they did not come to me?"

He smirked and yawned before shaking his head. "Silly little fool, I wouldn't make it that simple for you. Most of your pack is indeed dead, as you saw for yourself..." He paused and grinned at her watching her green eyes flash with anger.
"But...I did allow a few of your pack to survive, one of your precious sapphires I threw to the will of the water that they so love. One of your beloved bright and sunny males I cracked against the rocks and dragged down away from the carnage. No doubt he has no memory of who he is." Chernabog chuckled.
"Shall I tell you more? Or do you realize now that to piece your precious pack together will take too much effort...perhaps more than you can handle? You were such a young alpha Kalama, no one could blame you for your failure against one such as I. Come now, surrender and you shall be taken into my pack, you can serve there in some way, I have need of a new slave." He chuckled.

A growl rumbled in her chest and her fur stood on end, her high tail puffed in anger. She let her claws dig little furrows into the earth to keep herself grounded, she needed all the information she could get from him.
"Tell me, there is no force great enough to keep me from my pack, and I would rather die then ever be within yours." She snarled and kept her eyes focused on him wary of another attack.
She thought of what bodies had been missing, it sounded like the sweet young blue female and dear lite-brite had been spared. She knew lite-brite's body had been missing, no one could pass over him.

"You needn't worry Kalama, if you do not find a way, or yield then death with surely be yours, I would not deny you a second time." He smirked and moved to circle her.
"With one of your green meadow guards I was a bit more...inventive...I dragged the body all the way into the desert. It wasn't easy, but well worth the image of a patch of lush color decaying in the unrelenting heat of such a barren place. That one took me the longest and most work, you can thank me for the journey later." He chuckled before lifting his head as if in contemplation.
"Lets see...then I killed all your red guardians, the packs hunters were they not? I believe I spared you one of your sweet amethyst ladies, and a few other precious gems. Not too many dear Kalama for I know you could rally even the weakest to desire revenge. Yet let us see if you can rally those who do not even know you, those who no longer recall any pack."

Kalama tensed as she was circled, she felt like prey being driven to do something foolish. She held herself back from the desire to turn and fight though her lags quivered with need.
"Memories cannot be so easily killed, I will remember all you have done Goblin King, and my pack WILL recall even if it takes until the end of time. I will have revenge. The Jewels of the Meadow will sparkle once more and no one will scatter them again." She growled and crouched.

"Well I wish you luck with that little one, I shall most enjoy seeing your bright little brigade foolishly moving into the darkness...before being crushed. That is assuming you can even find them, or rally them to your...cause." He smirked and shrugged turning his back with confidence.
"Until then Kalama..." Chernabog moved back into the Reign's packlands feeling in much higher spirits.
