The male wolf turned his eyes up to the sky and watched the colors of the sky come over. He slowly stood up and stretched his paws out as he yawned. He stretch his back legs as his tail moved up. He straightened his posture and admired the sky for a short moment. He sat down and breathed in the air. He didn't expect anything out of any given day, mostly because he was just a wandering wolf. He needed to be both cautious and courageous. He learned from each day.
This particular day, he decided to try his luck again at his favorite place to eat. It was the river. The river he remembered when he was young. A river that did not change and he was happy with the familiarity. There was at least one thing that he could easily recognize. The rest of the forest was a maze. There were many packs with set their paw on the land. Disturbing that would be dangerous. A wolf's dominance on land can be a scary thing. The last thing he wanted to do was get into a fight, especially early in the day. The river was safe though.
The male, eager, went on his way to the river. He was sure that he wasn't that far off. He didn't think he was. Hopefully, he would get lost like last time...That was horrible but at least he found the river that time. Sure, he almost headed up in the river but he found it! That is what count. Well, for him...
Sniffing the ground, the male knew where to go. He thought he smelled another wolf but scents from the night before still lingered in the forest. This happened often so he already had in mind that others could be around.

She was alone. Left with pups that she had no idea how to care for. She wasnt a motherly sort.. She had never been a mother before. But that..That beast Dhaval had impregnated her, and left. Oh sure he would peek around to see the pups every once and again, but she was left with the brunt of the workload.
Her muscles were tired, she was so happy that Allah, her friend that was expecting pups of his own, had offered to babysit her four. She had been worn out, and the need for a dip in the river became apparent.
She walked, as her muscles did not want her to run yet..Save that kind of energy for hunting. Her children would need it later..
But her eyes were still teh bright blue of a youth, and she did not see herself as being used up..Maybe she was just a little worn out.
Her nose twitched, as she tasted the air around her. Another wolf was nearby. How odd, she didnt usually run into many these days, being the hermit she had become.
"Hello?" She called out. Stealth wasnt her thing, so she hoped that it was a nice enough creature..

He was going on his little way and could hear the running water. His ears rose and his tailed wagged. Yes, he was here. Now it was time for a nice breakfast. He could imagine it now. He would sneak towards the river and spot those fishes. Then before they knew it, snap! He would grab one of them and they won't make a fool of his like last time. Then he would have a nice meal of fish. A good way to start the good day. Later he can figure out what to do after he ate.
Ready on his paws, Piqure was about to sneak over to the river only for a hello to come to his ears. He stood very still and thought over what he just heard. Hello? Was somewhere here? What?...He thought he was the only one moving about at this hours. Well that wasn't true, there were the birds, squirrels, mice...Wait! Consentrate! This was another wolf, not just some other small animal.
Piqure sniffed and decided to follow it. It was nearby. He followed the scent and turned his head towards a bush before him and bursted his head into it,"Shhh. The fish might hear you and then no meals." He whispered loudly to the wolf he heardly knew. Piqure wasn't really thinking on his actions. He just right ahead and did it since he saw no harm in it.

Artemis looked curiously around the surrounding area. She saw nothing, yet she heard twigs snapping, and the sound of someone sniffing the air. She edged closer to the bush, wanting to look behind it to see if the creature was behind it.
Stepping closer, slower and slower, she paused as she finally got to it, and started sniffing the stump.
When the wolfs head popped out from the bush, Artemis let out a loud squeak of fear and bolted back, body tense and poised, back quite a bit further than she had been. Her ears perked, her body alert.
"Fish dont hear.." She said with a whisper.
But if they didnt hear, why was she whispering. Rolling her eyes slightly at herself, she stepped closer.
"And Im sure we could catch them if they did.."

He blinked at the wolf before him as she jerked in surprise. He tilted his head first in confuse as his ears perked up attentive to the wolf before him. She looked at him with wide eyes and he noticed that he made her frightful. He made sure he to act nonthreatening. He wasn't trying to scare the wolf.
"Opps, sorry about that." He began to pull away from the bush. He closed his eyes as he tried to pull away instead of going around,"I just had to stop from speaking too loudly." He struggled a bit and then finally pulled himself away from the bush. He looked back at it and looked to see if there were leaves stuck to him. He shook his fur a bit and wagged his tail. His eyes bright with joy and excitment.
Her words made him smile,"They do hear." He said back,"I should know. Those bunch are always alert when I am around and they like to make a fool out of me. " He looked towards where the river would be,"Evil but delicious fish..." He turned to her,"Either way, I catch them. You coming to eat as well? I do not mind." He turned to where the river would be, taking a few steps already.

When he took a seat, she didn't feel as anxious as she had the moment before. She cocked her head, watching him. He was cute, with his tipped ears. He reminded her of a puppy. She instantly thought of little Warrick and smiled.
"Its okay." She said lookng at him a bit. " I just.. Was caught off guard." She giggled as he struggled to pull himself from the bushes.
"So they make a fool out of you often?" She asked, thumping her tail against the earth a bit. She was happy to have interaction that was not just Warrick.. But she wished that she had that kind of company all the time.
When Dhaval left, it broke her heart, even though the female knew he wasnt going to be staying anyway.. "If you don't mind, Id love to join you." She answered, standing up, and walking closer to the water. She wasnt too bad at fishing if she said so herself.

He apreciated her giggle, seeing it as a sign that everything was okay. He did not think that all wolves would tolerate his behavior and there were some that would which was nice. It seemed that this wolf did not mind him at all. That was all good for him. If the wolf was friendly then he welcomed their company. Sometimes being alone was not always the best, having someone else to talk to was something he felt was self-reliefing.
"Often?" He said at her question and tilted his head. He narrowed his eyes slightly but not at her,"Well, depends...They love to make a fool out of me if I start thinking too much about what I am going to do or I do not think enough and just do jump in." It was all true. Funny how both ways went bad for him. If he just did something without thinking, something bad could happen. If he thought too much, he would over think it. There was that balance that he would have trouble getting at times. His emotions sometimes get the best of him especially if he was too eagered or excited. It was because of these little quirks that many saw him as silly and nonserious. He could be serious but only when he wanted to be.
He turned to look at her as she accepted to join him,"Two heads are better than one right?" He smiled,"My name is Piqure. Yours?" He asked as he quietly walked towards the water. He was sneaking up on the fish. Well, that is what he thought of it,"Hopefully, today there would be a good catch." He whispered his words as he licked his lips.

"Ah, well we shall just have to sneak up on these fish, huh?" She asked, standing up to follow him to the waters. She loved to fish. She had been trying to teach Warrick to fish, but who was she kidding.. Her boy was all paw right now.. Even if he was getting older.
She looked at him with her bright blue eyes and nodded to him. "Two heads are better than one, so long as they dont get in each others way." She said with a nod.
Last male she had given her name to, had seduced her and left her with a full belly bulging and then to give birth months later. She hesitated telling him her name, but already there was a difference in him than Dhaval. He was not trying to get her to tell him how sexy he was, or how much she wanted him. He was allowing her to fish with him.
"My name is Artemis." She said, with a little smile.

It wasn't always that he get to be with another wolf who wasn't ready to bite his tail off so he was going to enjoy the company while it lasted. When meeting another wolf, he didn't like to hope for much considering he was just a loner. He knew there were many packs around and one who he head was very dangerous but he doesn't know much of the details. Then there were the members of those packs who probably don't like him walking in their land.
"Yes, sneaking must be down." He lowered his postured as he neared the river,"We must make them believe that we aren't coming..." He whispered. It didn't help that his tail was swaying in excitment. When got focused on something, he often got excited which would often mess him up. He just loved the challenge of fishing and inwardly likes to think that he outsmarted the fish.
"Artemis...That is nice name to have. Better than mine." He peeked at the river water,"Oooo, I see one." He wiggled his butt as he narrowed his eyes at the fish. He smirked and then launched into the river with a big slasp,"ARGHHHHH!" He probably sounded more like a bear than a wolf at the moment as he snarled and snapped at the fish. This only made the fish jumped and moved around wildly as it smacked him on the nose with its fin. He snarled and tried to catch it. Yup, too excited.

She followed suit, though not lowering herself to the ground. She was watchinghim sneak up on the fish, all the while trying not to just outright giggle. This male was so different than Dhaval. He was fun..And he didn;t have the same look in his eyes.
She wagged her own tail, watching his sway to and fro, and actually DID giggle this time. When he jumped into the water, all she heard were gurgles, and lots of splashing. She stepped closer to make sure that he wasnt hurt. When she saw the fish smack his nose with a fin, she chuckled, and waded out into the water.
The water came up to midleg, and she stopped moving, merely standing and watching the fish swim around her as they grew accustomed.
And then without notice she thrust her nose into teh water, pulling it out with a flailing fish caught square in her jaws. She smiled a bit, proud of her fishing skills.
"I 'ot eet 'or you." She said, mouth full.

In all the rush of thing, the wolf thought he heard someone giggling at him. At first he thought it was the damn fish laughing at him. Oh, how he was going to get them for that! However, he looked up only to see that his company was taking an amusement to his struggle. He didn't quite mind, really. He knew he did silly things at times and it seemed quite nice to see someone else happy. Had it been that long since he seen another wolf? Was he really lonely? Well, considering he made fish his enemy who knows...Either way, it was since to see this Artemis enjoy her time. He had hoped that he wouldn't cause too much trouble for her.
He took a moment to calm down and try again only to see the female take the lead. He was about to say something but she seemed consentrated. He decided to watch her to see what she will do. He looked at her and then the fish. He tilt his head and stood slient as if he was going to catch some fish himself. He waited and waited before splash! She got one. Piqure was quite amazed and looked at her with bright eyes,"That was amazing. I never seen someone catch a fish so quickly. You are much better than me."
She then said something. He tilt his head, completely lost by what she was trying to say. He looked at her confused,"Say that again...or put that fish down. Oh, don't lose the fish!...So don't put it down..."

She gave a bemused glance, shaking her head and jumping from the water. Droplets fell from her fur as she landed gracefully back on the shore, shaking her body to release the water. Her fish was still square in her jaws, and she looked back at Piqure with a slight grin.
Putting the fish down onto the grass, she smiled as it stopped struggling, and she looked back at Piqure.
"I said.. I got it for you." SHe said with a chuckle.
"And Im not better than you are..Ive been on my own with a child for awhile. Ive had to learn to hunt flawlessly..And it was only fishing that I seemed to catch on better than most." She said with a smile.

Piqure watched her for a moment as she moved out of the river. He wondered if she did this more often than him. She was rather...agile? He didn't see himself every being as a poise wolf. She caught the fish much more easily that him. Well, he had his hyper ways. He should really be more self controlled or he is never going to get food. So far he hasn't straved to death but he always was exhausted at the end of the day. Problems...Problems.
Piqure carefully moved out of the river and just soaked there, looking at her when she said that she got it for him. He wasn't used to that. He was alway used to doing things on his own. He never really had other do things for him.
"Uh...Thanks." He said a bit awkwardly but kept his happy demeanor. After all, she was nice enough to help him and keep him company.
A kid! He looked at her with curiosity. Did he hear that right? She just said she had a kid. He looked her up and down, a little confused. He looked at her a little more confused. He felt like he was going to say something stupid.
"B-but, you are look kinda young to have a kid..." He turned his ears back as if he was going to get growled at.

She felt a little bad at having outdone him fishing, and sat down, ears to her head. "Im sorry, Im just so used to fishing for my boys." She said with a little smile, her ears perking back up to their normal stance.
She smiled, though, at the remark about her being too young to be a mother. She was young, and perhaps that was where her inexperiences came from.
She wagged her tail, blushing a bit.
"Oh you are a charmer, arent you." She chuckled.
"Yes, I have three four children. Three boys, and a little girl." She smiled, thinking of her children. Though only two of them were ever around her. Her two sons, Warrick and Yas. They were an odd pair, but they were family.
She wagged her tail. "What about you? You have any family?"

Boys? Did she say boys? Did she have more than one pup? Wait, what?! She didn't look like she had pups. Maybe she takes care of many pups that aren't hers...It was too quick to assume right...Right?
Piqure blinked at her at the "charmer" remarked. Now she was making him blush,"Ah! No! I am no charmer! I was just stating the truth! I swear. You don't look like you had...Well I mean..." He felt like an idiot. Especially since when she perked up and wagged her tail, he could held but do the same. Never in his life did he think he feel this awkward around the opposite gender. Has it been that long since he been around another wolf?
"Three boys and a girl..." Ah, wow? He tired to image her as a mother but couldn't help think she was just their older sister. He shook the image away from his head,"Well, I am sure they make you happy..." He wonders who her mate is though he couldn't really smell dominating male on her...
He sat up straight and tilted his head,"Family?...I don't really have a family. I am just a...wanderer. I don't really mind much though since I do end up taking someone even if it just a squirrel...Though we end up fighting and I get nuts thrown at me..." He looked at really concerned at that fact.
