(This is a slightly different sort of ORP. Just roll with it. Basically this first post shall be devoted to things such as where the bakery/cafe is in location to Hytech [uh, really close apparently, since we like the industrial district? XD ], the cute little menus, and the cute little uniforms Shimy makes the Hytes wear~
Register #1/General Busboy/Waiter/Boycandy: Eli~
Register #2/Delivery Prep/Delivery Running: Kamiko~
Being A Lazy Manager/Baker: Shimy~
There is also a 'Help Wanted' sign for any Hytes in search of part time jobs. Though, you know, you'd have to work under Shimy, so...do so at your own risk~ ^_____^
Otherwise, feel free to drop in either to embarrass our part time worker-kids, perhaps on a date, or simply because you have a sweet tooth~
And, yes, it really is named 'Twinkle!Twinkle! Cafe' in translation. I suspect Japan kids will be amused.)

It was a quiet day at KiraKiraCafe--they'd had a busy enough morning, but things had calmed down now that it was early afternoon. It was just a little to early to start closing, so Eli was instead leaning against the front counter, looking really relaxed--or perhaps really bored. Whatever the case, his eyes certainly flickered over to the wall clock often enough, though what he was waiting for wasn't readily apparent.

Zane, after deciding to go for a walk outside, had found the 'Help Wanted' sign and made sure that he looked presentable. Baking was a good skill to have. And besides, not all villains could start right off the bat with evil plotting. And if he learned how to bake, he could bring home some recipes to Ciaran to make together.
The kuppy, in his most presentable clothes, entered and immediately sulked. His soon to arch-nemesis was behind the counter. And that meant that Shimey was around here somewhere. Shuffling towards his twin, Zane stuck out his bottom lip, ears drooping and tail already between his legs. "Can I... uhm, inquire about the 'help wanted' sign?"

"You can," Eli answered in a cautious voice, barely above a whisper. "But, you know, Shimy's running this place so are you sure you want to--" But Eli's warning was lost forever as Shimy pounced upon him from behind, grinning widely at Zane.
"Zaney~ Do you want to work here too? Aah, having twins working the front counters in matching outfits...I can just see it now~" Her eyes having gone starry at imagining the possibilities, it wasn't immediately clear whether or not the human woman was actually listening for Zane's reply.

"Uhm, erm..." Zane's eyes did a quick dart for the door - he was just practicing for the "Always Have An Escape Route" portion of the evil villain test. "Kuro says that I have to get a job until I take the Villain Test, so... yes, I'm here for a job." The kuppy was rather embarrassed. What if Ciaran came in to have some break with apple jam and saw him? And the rest of the Hytes? His evil villain reputation would be ruined!

The door busted open as the Shiba Inu skidded to a halt. She wore a white shirt over her normal jumpsuit and a pair of shorts. On the front of her shirt it read "Shimy's Delivery Service". She grabbed her ruffley apron off the coat rack and put it on. "I'M BACK!!" She announced loudly as she ran to Shimy. "I delivered in 10 minutes!! The customer was so happy she gave me a five dollar tip!!" She smiled brightly and gave Shimy the rest of the payment before taking a seat next to Eli, she smiled at Zane. "OHAYO!! Welcome to Shimy's bakery! How can we help you?" Yeah, she was far too perky.

Both Shimy and Eli were distracted by the enthusiastic arrival of Kamiko, and both brightening at her appearance. Shimy took the payment and receipt and stuffed them in a pocket (her apron was the only one cool enough to have pockets), and patted Kamiko in congratulations. "Good girl~"
Eli's eyes flickered from his twin to Kamiko before saying ruefully, "Zane is here to get a job, apparently."
"And a job he shall have~" Shimy proclaimed, clapping her hands together. "As long as he's not picky about the work!" Her eyes turned steely and she regarded Zane with a critical eye. "You're not picky about cleaning up after others, are you?"

"Hello, Kamiko. And uhm... of course I'm not picky, Grammy Shimey. I just... need a job. Kuro said so..." He was blushing and tried not to look up too much. The kuppy did keep an eye on the exit, though. The male hyte stood, shifting his weight from one foot to the other nervously.

"Then you're hired. On a provisional basis, of course, but I do that to everyone~" Shimy said, grinning maniacally as usual. "Kamiko-chan, please mind the front for a little while, Eli is going to take Zane in the back to meet Txori~"
Eli gave his brother a little helpless shrug, then gestured towards the back of the cafe. "Might as well at least meet everyone. Txori's on dish," he said, heading to the back, though he was stopped in his tracks when a head popped out of the archway to the back. It appeared to be a human female, with spiky brownish hair and brilliantly, offsetting golden eyes. She grinned, a bit predatory, not entirely unlike a certain Shimy, and waved merrily at the twins.
"I get fresh meat? Awesome!" she said, stepping out fully into the archway. She was a petite human, and looked as if she wasn't much older than fifteen or sixteen. "Kira'urre'xori, Txori for short," she said, holding out a hand for Zane to shake. "I actually live at the cottage with Shimy and Eli and everyone, though I don't get out much. I'm guessing you're Zane, due to the whole identical twins vibe I'm getting."

"Thanks, Shimey," he said, blushing a bit. Who had heard of an evil villain baking? When Zane was about to be led to the back and the head - and then the female - blocked his way, the kuppy blinked. "Erm, yes. I'm Eli's older twin brother, Zane. Nice to meet you...? Txori?" The end of it was a question as he simply repeated the other's name. How this girl was related to Shimey, he had no idea, but the hyte knew that he was a bit frightened of the female. He put out his hand and shook the other's hand timidly.

Txori shook his hand firmly and simply smiled. Eli looked a bit nervous too, seemingly carefully gauging their reaction to one another. "Yup, Txori~ It's Euskara; my full name means 'little golden bird'~" She blinked and then looked to Eli, cocking her head to one side. "So, Zane, are we just giving you a provisional tour today or are we putting your nose to the grind?"

"I... don't really know," he said, nervously. This girl was rather straight forward and to the point. Zane looked to Eli to try and get an answer. Or to get him away from this girl because from the two minutes he'd met her in, she seemed a bit off.

Kamiko's tail wagged a mile a minute at the patting. She then took her place by the register. "HAI!" Kamiko could stand for hours and not look bored at all. It was a wierd talent. She would smile at everyone that passed the window and wave, as if to encourage them to come in. Sometimes it worked, other times she just got weird looks.

"If you don't have anything better to do, you can certainly start right away," Eli said, with a shrug. "Txori, if he decides to get started, I'll leave him to you."
"Aye, aye, my liege~" Txori said, with a little mocking salute, as Eli beelined back for his register, leaving the girl with Zane. She smiled brightly at Zane, before saying quite nonchalantly, "It's okay to be scared by me. My aura's pretty different than most people's. I suspect you notice it because you're Eli's twin." Her golden eyes seemed particularly mischievous.
Eli had beelined for the front because he knew it was only a matter of time before Kamiko was off on another delivery and Txori really wasn't that bad. It just took...conditioning, to get used to her. "Anything exciting happen while on delivery, Kamiko-chan?" he asked, taking his place at the second register.

"Well I had to find a few short cuts. Some of my normal paths were blocked but I got there and nothing was messed up!" She smiled at the older Hyte. She was so happy to have this job, she could earn the money to pay back Mena for her utility belt. She could also work on making her costume. Speaking of she pulled out a small sketch book and a pencil. So far she had tried to make an outfit that combined Wonder Woman and Power Girl. Maxwell had suggested the latter and she had choosen the former. "I think I've almost got my outfit planned out!"
