(( This RP is based off of the 'Batman: The Animated Series' episode 'Almost Got 'Im', where Joker, Two-Face, Killer Croc, Penguin, and Poison Ivy each take turns telling their best Almost Got Batman story. In this RP, none of these characters will need to be present. Joker WILL be, but only because I'm going to play him. Feel free to join in as whichever villain you feel like. Play multiple ones if you wish.

The rules are:

-No fighting amongst ourselves. This is a friendly night of story-telling; all grudges need to be put aside for this.

-All present are allowed to comment as they wish on any given story. If someone tells a bad story, they can be subject to jeering and ridicule from the others. This IS a group of villains after all.

-Anybody caught not speaking for more than 5 pages WILL become Joker's latest victim. So, if you're going to be absent for an extended period of time, it would be a good idea to excuse yourself and leave. If you leave, Joker will not hunt you down. If you just sit there, Joker WILL godmod kill you. Simple as that.

-NO HEROES! PERIOD! Heroes will also be godmod killed by the Joker.

Other than those four rules, that's it. I reserve the right to add more rules as I go in order to streamline and maintain some semblance of order, and if I do, I will post it when I add it AND edit this post to include it. Most importantly, this is about having some fun on a villains night out. So let's have some! ))

(( Originals are perfectly fine, as long as you have either an original hero, or known hero that you can say that you nearly got. No success stories here; we just want your ALMOST success stories ))

It was a downfall outside and he had no intention of walking around in it. All he had was the suit he was wearing, he really didn't want to be soaked the rest of the night. This...place...would have to do. He rarely came into institutions like this unless it was a 'business' call, but he knew of no other place to be.
He glanced around the room with a slight sneer. Nothing but thugs...barely deserved his attention. The storm didn't seem like it was going to let up any time soon though. He'd have to simply find something to occupy his time until then.

A tall, thin man wearing a purple wide-brim hat and matching trench coat walked in through the door from the pouring rain. His head was tilted down, using his hat's wide edge to hide his face until he wanted to reveal it. The place had only opened a few hours ago, but already the usual street thugs and hoodlums were busy drinking and talking, getting the aches and pains of the everyday workaday world out of them over their whiskeys, gins and beers. We smiled to himself a little; this would be fun, no matter how many times he did it. ...Wait, there was a different person, someone who didn't fit in. This man was wearing a perfectly fitted suit, which was completely out of place in an establishment like this. The man in purple began to make his way to this man, when a barfly stood up to stand in his way.

The drunk was saying something about how one suited man was stupid enough, but two needed to be dealt with. The thin man in purple thought to himself, 'That's my cue,' and lifted his head. The drunk man saw the thin man's face. Suddenly, the drunkard was thinking with all the wits of a man who never touched a drink in his life. He very quickly jumped backward like he had been struck and ran a wide arc around the man out the door. Several others followed suit. The purple man waited for about a minute for the commotion to stop, then finished his walk over to the suited man. He looked at him, and made eye contact, laughing as he did.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Hello, sir! How are you doing this fine night?" The Joker took a chair from beside the suited man's table and sat down.

He figured it was the begining of a drunken brawl, but he turned to glanced back anyway. What he seen was a bit unexpected. A group of had made a quick exit for the door, apparently caused by a man in purple. Blackstone gave him a once over before he made his way towards his table. The man had an...interesting taste in style. Certainly nothing he'd seen anyone from his world wear before. Even the man's face was odd. Though he was a bit more used to seeing the look in the man's eyes as well as his grin. He wasn't some for-hire help by any means.
"As well as can be expected." he replied simply as the man took a seat. "Settle in here until the storm dies down." Not the type of company he was expecting....but it should certainly proove more entertaining than the current occpupants in the room.

Madam Gossamer

Gossamer stormed through the door and pushed it shut behind her. She spread her arms about shoulder height and flailed them back to her sides in a 'I'm soaked' gesture. Her usually wild and tassled hair now hung flat against her head and in front of her face. Water still poured down her green and black locks, down her gray trenchcoat, and puddled around her boots. She growled something about idiot forcasters and walking all the way from 3rd street in a monsoon because nothing was open....or would let her in
She pulled her arms from her coat and held it out in front of her to see just how wet it was. Soaked. Completely. She couldn't even use it to dry off with. Disgruntled, she tossed it into the corner and went about wringing out the rest of her. Her hair was always pulled back, so that wasn't that hard. Boots, armored leggings that looked more like spandex, and tight sleeves she didn't have to worry about. The rest of her top she might though. Part of it had straps and buckles...could have been a straight jacket at one point before it found it's way to a tailors, who turned it into some wierd assassin - ninja - tattered....oh, she didn't know what to call it. Whatever it was, she looked good in it. The buckles and straps made it hard to take off or wring out though.
Convinced that she wasn't going to be any more dry than she already was, she stepped away from the door and looked around the room. Ugh. bunch of drunks. Well, couldn't say much. She could go for a drink herself. Unfortunately she'd left her money at home after she'd planned a robbery....which she'd been rained out of. Oh well, somebody would buy her a drink. And if not she'd just have to settle with robbing this place.
Jeeze what a day.
It didn't take her long to spot two men in suits sitting at a table. Well, they should certainly be able to led her a few dollars. Looked like thay had plenty to spare. She smiled a bit and made her way over to their table. She probably wasn't looking...one hundred percent at the moment, but she could pull something off. She paused at their table with her hands on her hips, leaning comfortably on one leg. "Hello boys." she said sweetly.

Hearing the new voice, Joker turned around and found himself looking at an extremely beautiful woman. She was wearing some sort of gear that made her look like a half assassin, half nutcase, which the clown didn't mind at all. He liked nutcases.

"Why hello, there, my lady! Why don't you pull up a seat?" he said, gesturing to the twenty-some chairs that his entrance had caused the vacancy of. "What brings a pretty young woman such as yourself to a place like this?"

The woman formerly known as Pamela Lillian Isley ran through the downpour, her usually bright red hair plastered to her back and shoulders in a deeply crimson sheet. She shivered and moved faster. Ivy did not mind being wet, but she hated being cold, and this was more slush than it was rain; she half expected it to start hailing. She certainly wasn't wearing enough to provide any insulation, just a little half-dress of strategically placed leaves, vines and flowers. That said, going inside was not an option; she had to get done with the setup for her next crime by tonight. She would not have another chance.

Still, as she came up on a bar that was well known for being a haven for small-time criminals, she couldn't help but pause. She was freezing, and going inside would be so nice. Glancing down at her practically numb hand, she saw that her pale, green-tinged skin was turning blue. That decided her. Holding her head high, as though she were royalty rather than a soaked, shivering woman dressed in plant-life, she opened the door and sauntered inside.

Immediately, her eyes took in the purple-suited man at the bar and narrowed. She loathed the Joker. His number one lady, Harley, also happened to be Ivy's best friend, and Ivy hated to see the way he treated her. After all of the devotion, the care, and the love Harley lavished on him, this scum still acted as though the girl was a dog to be kicked around. She glared poisonously at that hated, grinning face for a few more seconds, then deliberately turned away and began to ring the water from her hair.

A smile made it's way across Gossamer's face. "Thanks, don't mind if I do." she replied, gently pulling a chair up to the table. "I've just been rained out of all my plans for the day. Been walking in it for blocks on end." she continued, placing the chair between the two men and sitting down. "I couldn't even visit the bank to make a small withdraw" she said with a slight emphesis on the last word.
Well, that was a better reaction then she thought she'd get. From the clown looking man at least. He looked like someone who liked to have a good time, the other man she wasn't sure about yet. First impressions, he looked like a stiff. All serious and high on his throne type. Oh well, she knew how to work that side as well. Just have to see how things played out here.

"A withdraw?" Joker smiled a wide grin. "Honey, this place is what called a Villain's Bar. Here, the words 'small bank withdraw' means something else entirely... but you already knew that, didn't you?" His eyes narrowed in on her for a moment, beginning to get a feel for her. A criminal who looked like a nutcase, that's even better than what he had thought before.

He took his eyes off of her for a moment and looked around the bar. Barflies, drunks, and small-time criminals as far as the eye could see. There was a woman by the door, a woman with soaked red hair... red hair and green hands. 'Pammy?', he thought to himself, 'No, that can't be her, she'd have taken one look at me and left in a heartbeat... but it IS horrible outside...'

Without any more thought, he stood up and addressed the whole bar. "My fellow criminals, you have a very special treat tonight! Tonight, not only are you graced with my own incredible presence, you are now in the company another one of Gotham's best members of the criminal underworld! Allow me to introduce... POISON IVY! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

'There, that'll get her riled up a bit, heh heh...' Joker thought to himself.

Bit of an odd outfit as well. He may have to find some new attire to fit into this particular world. He grinned slightly as the other man's attention turned completely to the new girl. Doesn't take much, does it? He placed a fist against his black beard and rested his arm on the table, casually looking about the bar again. Didn't matter who you were. Just have someone appear with pretty face and slim figure and all other train of thought just.....
That's when he spotted the woman with long red hair and...very interesting choice in clothing. Beautiful. Like a Venus of nature. His gaze lingered on her for a few moments before the other man caught his attention and his mind snapped back to reality.

Without looking up from fussing with her hair, Ivy raised a graceful hand toward the Joker and made a very rude gesture that somehow managed to look classy; something to do with those delicate fingers. "I'll be out just as soon as the weather clears up a little, I promise," she spat, straightening and flicking the wet strands of back out of her face. Bright, mint green eyes flicked to the girl beside the Joker. Dark hair, pretty, kind of unstable looking... The eyes flicked back to the Joker, and there was murder in them. "How's Harley doing?" she asked, her voice hard. Was he with this other girl? She honestly thought she might kill him if he was.
