Marja: *sitting beneath a tree, reading Subtle Knife*
Nicholas: .... *Silently walks over and sits next to Marja*
Marja: *looks up from her book to notice Nicholas* Oh, hello! =D Having a nice day? ^^
Nicholas: *Nods, gestures to her*
Marja: I'm good. ^^ I'm about halfway done with The Subtle Knife. I'd be completely done, but Sara decided suddenly that she wanted to read it. xd
Nicholas: *Nods, then leans over to look at where she's at*
Marja: *has read up to the fight between Angelica's brother and Will over the knife*
Nicholas: *Sits back to let her go back to reading*
Marja: *reads to a chapter break then stops* It's really interesting so far. =D Though I hope that wound of Will's heals soon. It seems kind of serious.
Nicholas: ... *Lifts a paw and places it on his lips, as a sign that he isn't giving her any hints*
Marja: *smiles and nods* ^^
Nicholas: *Looks around, then up at the sky*
Marja: *looks up as well*
Nicholas: *Points at the big dipper*
Marja: *looks where he points* That's the Big Dipper, right?
Nicholas: *Nods and smiles a little. Gestures for Marja to find a constellation*
Marja: *looks around* Hmmm... *points at one* I think that's Aries.
Nicholas: ... *Nods, looks around for Pisces*
Marja: *waits as he looks around, spotting a couple more constellations and noting their location*
Nicholas: *Smirks in triumph and points out Pisces*
Marja: *look* Hmm...Pisces?
Nicholas: *Nods*
Marja: *points at Leo* Isn't that Leo?
Nicholas: *Tilts his head, nods*

Marja: *sitting beneath a tree*
Nicholas: *Walks out, looking rather unhappy do to the rise in heat*
Marja: *spots Nicholas and waves* Hello! ^^ *notices his expression* Hmmm...sad that Winter's going away? Me too. sad
Nicholas: *Nods as he walks over to join Marja*
Marja: So have you been alright other than the temperature change?
Nicholas: *Thinks about it* ... *Nods, then gestures at Marja*
Marja: I've been pretty good. I finished The Amber Spyglass and now I'm reading the Gunslinger. The Gunslinger is pretty good so far. =D
Nicholas: *Tilts his head* ...?
Marja: It's about a Gunslinger named Roland and his journey to the Dark Tower. ^^
Nicholas: *Mouth forms to let out a silent "Ohhh" as his mind clicks onto the Stephen King series*
Marja: It's pretty good so far. Though it's going into so many flashbacks it feels like the book's written backwards on occasion. xd
Nicholas: *Smiles and sits, his ears perked in interest*
Marja: He's also looking for someone known by many names so he can kill him. biggrin I've only just started, so I don't know much more than that, but it's really cool so far. ^^
Nicholas: *Nods, knowing that Marja will tell him more once she's read more*
Marja: It's a good book. I'll let you borrow it after I'm done if you want to read it. =D
Nicholas: *Lifts a paw in a "so-so" gesture to say that he might. It really depends on if he's reading anything himself when she finishes. But then smiles in thanks to the offer*
Marja: *nods in understanding* So where are you going to spend the Spring and Summer? Inside or in the water? I'm probably going to go out swimming a lot, mostly because I don't like being cooped up in the house when I'm not reading. xd
Nicholas: *Nods, and mimes swimming on the air to say that he will be swimming as well.*
Marja: Cool. Maybe we could go swimming together sometime. =D *thinks that would be fun*
Nicholas: *Ears perk, smiles and nods* ^^
Marja: So are you an ocean swimmer or a lake swimmer? I'm probably going to stick to the lake, since I think it'll be a bit cooler. smile
Nicholas: *Thinks about it, shrugs. Not quite sure*
Marja: *smiles* In that case you might want to try both the beach and the lake to see which you prefer. =D
Nicholas: *Nods to say that he will*
Marja: So did any of the namrah at your home grow into Elders? We've had one at our house and I heard that Elders grow in small groups. 3nodding
Nicholas: *Nods, frowning at the thought of Kurai*
Marja: *notes the frown* Let me guess- you don't like the new Elder?
Nicholas: *Nods and sighs*
Marja: That's a shame. D= The new Elder at our house is really nice.
Nicholas: *Sends Marja an envious stare*
Marja: Wish I could trade. We could probably use a mean namir in the house. xd *joking around* We've only got Evrona, and she's only a real pain if you're male.
Nicholas: *Raises a brow* ...?
Marja: Evrona's a demonic female at the house who absolutely hates males. She likes bugging this one poor male in particular too. confused I'd help him out, but he's scared of me too. Oo
Nicholas: o.O *Wonders if something is wrong with the male if he's afraid of someone as nice as Marja*
Marja: *shrugs* He's skittish around most outgoing namrah. It takes someone shy or at least calm to befriend him otherwise he feels kind of threatened.
Nicholas: *Lets out a sound of understanding*
Marja: *nods* Yeah. ^^ He was probably always like that, though Evrona's probably not helping. D=
Nihcolas: *Nods*
Marja: Have anyone like that at your home?
Nicholas: *Tilts his head, wondering Marja is asking if he has anyone skittish at home, or someone like Evrona* ?
Marja: Oh, I mean the skittish type.
Nicholas: .... *Thinks of all the Namrah he lives with* ... *Nods*
Marja: *nods* I thought so. There's probably at least one in every house. 3nodding
Nicholas: *Nods*
Marja: And there's probably one 'Evrona' in each house too. D=
Nicholas: *Nods, thinking of the over abundance of mean Namrah in his house*
Marja: Well, can't appreciate the nice namrah half as much without the mean ones. ^^ Still doesn't make them any less annoying though. xp
Nicholas: *Nods in agreement*
Marja: I wonder which is more common in Namiah...skittish or mean...
Nicholas: *Holds up two fingers to indicate mean*
Marja: Ah, okay. I guess it makes sense for more namrah to be mean than skittish. There's apparently fun to be had in being mean, but none to be had in being skittish. *makes a face at the idea of fun at the expense of others*
Nicholas: *Nods, and frowns because it's sad really. Though mean Namrah are generally needed to make skittish ones*
Marja: Well, at least there are still namrah out there who are neither skittish nor mean. ^^
Nicholas: *Nods in agreement*
