Lucus sat at his desk tapping the back of his pen on his desk, "Why.. why.. why.. why...." His ears lay back in annoyance as he stared at the sheet of paper before him, "WHY DOES ACHERON END UP COSTING SO MUCH IN REPAIR!?"
Obviously he was fighting the urge to bash his head off his desk at this point as he picked up the paper and gripped it tightly in a fist crumpling it up. "He.. He will honestly pay for this once day..."

A quiet knocking sound emits from the door of Lucus' room -- two knocks, and then no more. The door is filled with silence again; for a few minutes, before it slowly opens up just a pinch for Vempyremon to poke her head through. Her red eyes scan the room quickly before opening up the door all the way. Vempyremon just stands there in the doorway with her hands clasped together and wings folded tightly against her sides. She seems hesitant to say anything as she knows she could have at least waited for a response before barging in.
"Are...are you alright?" There seems to be some sort of uneasiness in her voice which is as quiet as a hushed whisper at this point. "I could hear you shouting. Is something wrong?" A hand makes its way to reach for the doorknob just in case for quick escape, knowing her, she doesnt want to be in the middle of a seemingly rage-filled room.

Lucus huffed drooping the page and turning his attention to Vemp, "Acheron. Always Acheron. He should always be the first guest. He's at it again! I'll never under stand how one soul can be so reckless!"
He ran a hand down his face and perked his ears back up before giving her a small smile, "Is there anything I can do for you my fair lady? You must have a reason for coming other than just to see me." He carefully stood up from his seat and leaned against his desk, "Though I wouldn't mind such a reason."

Vempyremon's ears perked up for a moment before drooping back down as they were when she entered, grasping the doorknob tightly only to relieve herself of her own stress that had recently appeared just by the mentioning of Acheron. She arches her eyebrows in a worried-like position as if saying "Oh" without opening her mouth to speak.
Reckless...She was reckless once, though she was led to, it was not her fault to have been led to believe that everyone must be slaughtered in some sort of way. Who told her that even, she wondered. But, even now, Vempyremon knows Acheron's being a bad boy. The thoughts cause her roll her eyes.
"No, really. I just came to see you." Besides the shouting out of anger at Acheron's bullying. Vempyremon was almost too shy to visit Lucus under such circumstances, but, yes, the shouting did give her a good enough excuse to barge in.

Standing up properly Lucus casually made his way over to Vemp. Once at a close enough distance he reached out and placed a hand carefully on her shoulder, "You can come and visit me at any time you know? You don't need a reason and you don't have to wait for me to start yelling at the top of my lungs about some idiot either."
He smiled and he pulled his hand away to place it on his hip over his belt, "Acheron will be dealt with in good time to please do not worry about him, in good time he will get what he is asking for. Ca and Ooy are following him as always but that never seems to stop him. Anyways how are you?

Vempyremon slightly blushes at the touch, even though it was a simple touch. She hides it by turning around quickly and closing the door behind her so no one else may eavesdrop. By then, the redness in her cheeks have disappeared and it's safe for her to look back in Lucus' direction with a weak smile.
"WELL, you know, you're busy. I cant obsess over you twenty four-seven." Realizing what she had said, she takes a hand to her forehead to brush most of the bangs out of her face, trying to figure out how she could correct it to sound more proper, especially in front of a Royal who's far more superior than she is. "I mean, I do that away, from afar. I just cant do it up close all the time."
Vempyremon coughs out loud to signal a topic change before she brings herself into more than she wants to by accident. "That's good that karma will bite Acheron back in the arse for what he's done. But, me? I-I dont know how I am." In literal terms, all Vempyremon has been doing all day was sit alone, away from others' eyes to watch time pass by. She does this constantly, but why, she doesnt know. Nor does anyone else. "Well, how are YOU?"

"You cause no issues if you are around, I dislike working in complete silence anyways as much as that sounds odd." Lucus let a soft sigh slip at this point showing his exhaustion from the amount of work that was required of him.
"Acheron will get it in good time.. Knowing him he'd like my other eye before that day came." He ran his tongue along his lower lip for no special reason as he eyes Vemp, beautiful as always.. She always left him amazed. He thought of himself as no more that a child but Vemp.. she was something else, "You look gorgeous as always Milady."

A cold chill traveled up Vempyremon's spine as she could only imagine how Acheron caused such damage to Lucus'. Not a chill out of fear, but of her current containing rage towards Acheron. There was no way she would let Acheron take his other eye -- how horrible that must have been to experience in the first place. Vempyremon had lost her left eye's vision by poison. Though, she was not fully blind in that eye; once her right eye was closed, she could see blurred blotches colored by their temperature and body heat, almost like infrared.
Though, so some, it would be an awesome ability to have, but to her, it's a curse. No tear is shed from her left eye, yet from another person's view, her eyes look the same as if nothing is wrong.
Enough thoughts run through Vempyremon's head which take her mind off the current situation with Acheron, before she realizes that Lucus was glancing at her. "O-oh...uh." Vempyremon hardly notices that she's begun to blush again, deeper than before from that little touch. "Th-thank you, m'lord...sire." Though, she really doesnt know what to say, she keeps herself from giggling inappropriately with a small squeak that sounds like a canary. "But, you, I could...say the same thing. It should be illegal how beautiful you are."

Lucus choaked on air "How beautiful I am? I always knew I looked like a woman!"
He ran a hand through his bangs to mess them up, "Maybe that's why Acheron lets me live, He doesn't wish to harm my pretty little face." He joked of course. He knew why Acheron had let him live so long.. Acheron needed him. He needed somebody to head the clan until he had gotten to his goal. It was that which Lucus needed to figure out, why Lucus spent so much time in study. He wanted to know Acheron's goal in everything he did and everything he was doing.

Vempyremon winced at how she worded it, not meaning for it to come out as such, making him sound womanly. She raised another hand to brush her bangs out of her face at the same time closing her left eye to try and hide the fact that she was embarrassed about it.
"No, no! I...didnt mean to say that...like THAT! You dont look feminine at all...But, Acheron BETTER not harm that pretty lil' face of yours." Vempyremon smiles...just a little bit before taking her turn to step over to Lucus and stroke his cheek with the back of her hand. She didnt want to get involved in anyone's business, but if it meant protecting Lucus, she'd gladly interfere.

"Your hands are quite soft Milday." Lucus smiled at Vemp, "Is there anything you wish to do? Need? Coffee? Tea? Cake? Too many questions at once?" He had to muffle a chuckle, "Sock puppets?"
Something his parents always used to play with him with when he was a child. He and his parents would put on little shows for one another out in the gardens, in some way he missed those peaceful days. In other ways he was glad that Acheron had finally forced him to grow up and realize what kind of a place the world could truly be.

Vempyremon doesnt really seem to fond of any of those offers, though she would enjoy seeing a puppet show from Lucus, no matter how disturbingly cute that would be for her. She giggles outloud and ends it with another one of her squeaks, though this one sounds more bat-like. His reply to her hand tempts her to pet him further, smiling more and shutting her eyes gently, caught in a small laughter, which she seems to be doing as of late.
"Ah...well, my need. I just need you here with me. But, dont let me stop you from researching, love..." Vempyremon never truely had a family that she knew of. The only family she has and ever will know of is Aristocramon, though, seeing how goofy he really can be embarrasses her -- she doesnt even know how they can be related.

Lucus reached a hand up and patted Vemp on the cheek softly, "Milady if I researched anymore today I'm sure my head would explode. Come now there has to be something you want to do."
He smiles at her squeak as made a small sound of his own followed by a soft chuckle. "I'll get your nose if you don't!"

Her ears, previously lowered, stand upright as they should as she gives a long gaze at Lucus. Her red eyes shift away from him as if she's thinking about something, yet still taking his 'need anything' offer into consideration.
A long silence passes by the both of them, Vempyremon not saying a word and Lucus waiting for a response. Vempyremon suddenly gives Lucus a body tackling push to the floor, before quickly jumping off like a rabbit to the other side of the room, still in a crouching position.
She doesnt even know what she means by her sudden wrestling tackle, but she does know that it was enjoyable for the moment. Especially, since she met body-to-body with Lucus even for a split second. Vempyremon smiles, baring her canines, even though she knew she could have warned him first. "Let's see you get my nose, then."

Lucus grunted from his position on the floor, rolling onto his stomach and propping himself up on his elbows as he stared at her "Get your nose eh? After such contact? My my."
Hopping to his feet Lucus fixed his jacket and stepped towards Vemp, "You're quite fast Milady. We'll have to try to not make that much of a mess.
