I was questioning the "Playstation controller prevented a nasty case of" part. You know, mainly because stigmata is viewed as a good thing in my faith.

"Even more incriminating is the fact that after 10 days away from gaming, her condition disappeared. "
to me it sounds like she was just squeezing the controller to hard causing blisters

I'm sorry Viking, I thought stigmata was a fairly well known miracle related to saints, but it's also fairly contraversial for other groups because some are self inflicted rather than spontaneously occuring. I sometimes forget that things that I think to be common knowledge aren't always the case for everyone else - especially with Catholic Doctrine. Like apparently the year the Soviet Union collapsed or Ash Wednesday (recent experiances on campus spurred those examples). If you're curious about our reasoning behind the favorable light behind it I'll explain to the best of my ability. But again I'm sorry Viking, I didn't mean to insinuate anything negative.

You don't need to be sorry, I wasn't sure if I inadvertently said something that offended you. I really only know enough about religion to know the tough questions to ask if someone gets self-righteous on me.

I really only know enough about religion to know the tough questions to ask if someone gets self-righteous on me. Ah no worries. I rarely get offended with religion. The only time I do is when a person TELLS me I worship Mary. rolleyes Luckily that's only happened once. Long story that one...come to think of it..that's the only time I felt offended, but it wasn't due primarily to that very firm false statesment but to the circumstances of the "conversation" that insued. EDIT: I try not to be self-righteous, Lord knows I hate it when people are that way with me and therefore I don't want to come off that way ever. I don't think I am, but it's always a concern.

I can get on a soap box easily, especially in this state where pretty much everyone is either too liberal for my liking, or too conservative for my liking, on top of that, there is literally no appreciation for the other sides views around here. Just the other day, a friend got into a pissy fit when I said "prop 8 passed fair and square", I didn't say I WANTED it to pass, nor did I point out that I was opposed to it... However I feel that it was a clean vote. He flipped the ******** out at me and pretty much called me the ABC's of insults... Anyways, I'm getting tired of soapboxes, they were fun for a while but I'll leave them to the people who actually give a s**t.
