 Mafahali, though soon to be a member of a pride, was roaming the rogue lands once more. Some things never got old. He was interested in having as much fun as possible while he was still able to. The pride he was meant to join sounded like a lot of fun- he knew things wouldn’t change too much- but any excuse to do things his way one last time was really all he needed.
Today he felt like finding something to play with. He had already killed a couple things for the thrill of it, leaving their mangled bodies behind for whatever creatures that wanted to pick at them, and he was now looking for something a little more entertaining.
Killing was too easy. What he needed was a real toy. Something… soft. Gentle. Like a female to play with.
Yeah.
His small mind was set on it as he patrolled the land, dark eyes scanning around for something to claim as his own, if only for one encounter. It didn’t matter to him if it ended up being a lion or some other kind of animal- he would have his fun. Even if it meant mounting something not of the cat family at all. Hey, he wasn’t looking for babies, he was just looking for fun.
There was no way he was going to settle down and play daddy to anything.
Growling softly, unable to sniff out anything lady-like enough to please him, the large brute of a beast sat himself under a dying tree, leaning against it as he mused over what he might do if he couldn’t find a girl. This musing, however, proved too much for the trunk, the rotten wood splintering and falling against the ground with a heavy thud, Mafahali following after it in surprise. His weight had broken the tree with ease, which he found to be nothing more than a testament to his power.

 Kaiolohia was starving. She had been out on her own for only a few weeks, but already she was beginning to learn that finding her own food was going to be quite a bit harder now that she was hunting by herself. The adolesant leopard crouched silently, her silver eyes staring straight ahead at a rabbit that nibbled on a blade of grass only a few feet away from her. Her claws scraped the dirt as her muscles tensed in preperation to pounce.
Suddenly a loud and heavy thud sent her dinner scrambling down its nearest hole. What was that? Kaio sat back with a heavy scowl, her ears flicking back against her head as she glared in the way of the noise. It figured. She sighed and with a flick of her light blue tail, the leopardness went padding in search of what had scared her dinner off.
As she neared the sight of the fallen rotten tree, her eyes fell on a fluffy brown form. Well... She'd never really spoken to a lion before... She hesitated and almost turned back the way she came, but instead padded closer to the large male. "Uh.... Sir? Sir, are you alright?" Kaio asked shyly, her tail flicking behind her.

Hearing something speak, Mafahali rolled onto his stomach, taking his time in getting to his feet. The large animal had nothing to fear, he felt, so he wasn’t worried about leaving himself open to attack or anything like that, though he hadn’t even bothering to look up to see who had spoken to him. Once on his feet, the massive creature brought his eyes from the ground, letting them rest on the much smaller thing standing not too far from him.
He didn’t know what it was, but he could smell that it was female. That was more than enough for him.
“What’s a little thing like you doin way out here?” he asked casually, hiding the dark intentions running through his mind behind a gentle, welcoming tone. He had a little bit of actor in him. Smiling warmly, he took a couple steps towards her, though stopped before getting too close so as not to make her think that he was going to try something. Didn’t want to scare her off.
Considering he DID want to try something.
“You’re a bitty lioness if I’ve ever seen one,” he commented thoughtfully, unaware that she wasn’t a lioness. He just assumed that it was what she had to be, since he didn’t know of any other creatures being around the area they were both currently residing in.

Again, something deep down inside Kaio told her that she should run. That there was something not quite right about the lion's eyes and welcoming smile. But the leopardness shook off her doubts, blaming herself as being silly, and instead returned a small smile. "I was just out hunting." She state softly, her tail curling around her back leg.
Kaiolohia blushed slightly at his next comment but smiled shyly none the less. "I'm not a lioness... I'm a leopard. And I'm not really that small....Am I?" She sat down as she gazed at the lion. "Were you the one who caused that loud noise?" The leopard asked curiously with a glance to the rotton tree behind Mafahali.

“Huntin eh?” mused Mafahali, “sounds good. I suppose you’re on your own then, eh? Unless yer huntin for, say, a family? Or maybe a mate?” He was digging for answers and wasn’t being subtle about it, really, but he never claimed to be any good at that kind of thing. All he wanted was to find out if she had anyone that might be upset should something happen to her.
And if she did, he needed to know if it was something he would be able to kill should they get into a confrontation later.
“A leopard is it? Well, blow me down! I ain’t never seen something like you before. Leopards. Heard about em, though. Oh! Scratch that! I have met one of you before, but not a lady. It was a bloke who wanted me to join ‘is pride or some noise. You ladies are much prettier than the dudes, I’ll tell you what.”
Blinking, he looked over at the tree, offering a gruff laugh. “Oh! Yeah, that was me, I reckon. Knocked that rotten tree over just leaning against it! Guess I don’t know me own strength.”

She naively shook her head in answer to the lion's questions. "No. I decided to try things on my own for once because I grew up in a large family and have never really had to live on my own before. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be." Now that she had convinced herself that she was just being silly and that there was nothing wrong with the lion before her, Kaio took a second to look him over more closely. Once you got past his not so right smile and his formidable size, he really was kind of attractive.
"I've never really seen a lion before either. My aunt and uncle's father was a lion, but I never saw him." The smaller feline added with a blush as he commented on female leopards were prettier than the male leopard he'd met. "You must be pretty strong to knock down a tree. I've climbed trees loads of times, but I've never come close to even bending one." There was admiration in her voice now as she smiled up at the brute. "What's your name? I'm Kaio."

The large animal only nodded along to what she had to say, though inside he was all giddy. So she was alone, that worked out quite well for him. No one she would go crying to right away to come after him. So what if she had family? By the time they found out about anything that may or may not have happened, he would already be long gone.
“Ha! That twig? That was nothing! I can knock through rocks if I wanted to. I’m Mafahali, one of the strongest critters you’ll meet out here, I promise you that right now!” the large animal replied with a respectful bow of his head, “It’s nice to meet you, Kaio. Very nice indeed.” He watched her, tail flicking against the ground idly as he mused over what he was going to do to her. There were a few options. If he stayed out in the open she could run away from him, but if he managed to get her to go back to his den with him then he would have a greater control of the situation. Then again, he was massive. Could she really run away from him? All he really needed to do was make sure he got a hold of her neck from behind.
Then he could have his fun and there would be nothing she could do about it, unless she wanted to snap her neck in his jaws.

"Only a twig? But it's a tree." Kaio exclaimed with a smile as she stood and stepped past the lion to investigate the said twig. She sniffed at the log then with a smile turned to look over her shoulder to Mafahali. "But if you say you can break through rocks, then I guess you really are the strongest creature I've ever met." The leopardness laughed softly before she turned back to the log to see if she might find something interesting amongst it's rotted bark.

“A tree to you maybe,” proudly stated Mafahali, “but to me it ain’t nothing but an easily broken twig. I suppose such little, delicate things like you don’t understand that kind of power, you know?” He watched her move, tempted more now than ever to make his move. Her back was to him.
He stopped himself, though, when she looked over her shoulder at him. “Hm? Well yeah! Don’t you worry, miss. I’m sure I’ll show you just how powerful I am real soon.” He chuckled at that, moving up behind her.
“Do yourself a favor. Don’t move.” He then growled as he moved in and tried to grab hold of her neck fur with his teeth.

"Really, that's-" Kaio cut off as Mafahali growled right behind her. The feeling of a teeth catching hold of the extra fur on her neck. She froze, her fur standing on end. "W-What do y-you wa-want?" The leopardness stuttered out, looking at the large brown form behind her out of the corner of her eye. The sudden switch of Mafahali's friendly behavior to this threatening one was something that Kaiolohia hadn't even began to suspect. Never before had she met anyone who had wanted to hurt her. Sure, she'd been teased a few times, but physically attacked? Never.

The large lion would have laughed if not for all the fur in his mouth. He smiled through it, though, and put his large paws against her shoulders to hold her in place, dark black claws sinking into her flesh without any hesitation. Though black was just their natural color, they somehow seemed stained with the dried blood of past victims. A fitting look to be sure, as he rarely used his claws for anything other than malicious intent.
“What do I want?” He asked, keeping himself almost completely on top of her as he finally released her neck. With his claws in her back, and his weight on her, he didn’t think there was much chance of her getting away from him now, “do you really have to ask me that? Can’t you guess?” He grinned, running his tongue up her spine.
There was no need to hurry.
“I can’t promise this will be gentle,” he teased with a gruff laugh, “but it should be fun! I reckon this is your first time, ain’t it? That’s just so sweet. Hope the situation ain’t gonna spoil it for ya.”

The young leopard drew in a sharp gasp as Mafahali shifted his weight onto her and sank his stained claws into her skin, blood beginning to rise under them and trickle down her sides. Her instincts were telling her exactly what the lion on top of her wanted, and she tried to wriggle away without thinking about it. Right until she froze, shivering, as his rough tongue traced up her back. Tears pooled in her eyes until they overflowed and slowly began to fall.
"P-Please. Please, don't do this." She begged weakly, before her tears began to fall more steadily as he laughed. The lion was right. This would be her first time, and this was not how she'd wanted it to be. It was supposed to be with someone she loved, or even liked. Not with a brute who was going to force himself on her. Still, there was nothing the feline could do. Not with the much larger male leaning down on her and holding her tight. So all Kaio found herself able to do was clutch at the ground below her with her own claws and continue to plead for him to stop.

“You can keep crying if you want ta,” Mafahali said in a hushed voice, wicked words moving with ease from his mouth. He seemed thrilled to be able to hurt her, “it’s not really worth it if you don’t cry.” Listening to her pleads only filled him with more excitement. More need to get to work. He laughed again, this time with an audible pleasure as he pulled on her shoulders with his claws, ripping at her flesh in an attempt to further her anguish and make the tears continue.
He took his time getting to work, but eventually did get around to what he had been aiming for the whole time. It didn’t matter to him what she would do after or if cubs would come from the deal- he was just there for the fun. Let her deal with and repercussions like a good little female should.
Their only use to him was the pleasure.
Eventually, once he had finished, he did allow her to go, releasing his grip on her fur and moving off without another word. Only a cruel, content smile and a dark chuckle as his footsteps faded from earshot.

Kaio's tears soaked the fur of her cheeks as the lion above her began to work. She tried to hide her sounds of pain, but they still escaped her. It seemed like forever before he was finally done and even as the sound of his heavy footsteps was replaced by silence, Kaio lay still. Her chest and sides heavied with her heavy sobs, but other than that, she was still. It was near nightfall before the young leopardness forced herself to her feet and limped toward a tree in the distance, her instinct for survial over powering her hurt.
