1.Introduction
Okaaaaay. This thread will be a guide on how to download mp3 files from Nicosound. For those of you who don't know Nico Nico Douga is the place where the Vocaloid users upload their videos and NicoSound is where we rip the mp3s. I wanted to start this guide to teach those who don't know how to use NicoSound. <3.

2. The Guide
Okay okay okay. Let's start. We, as Vocaloid lovers( <3<3<3 xoxoxo) ,would want to get our hands on the mp3s of our favorite Miku Vocaloid songs. Some would suggest using Youtube to Mp3 Converter, Downloading the video then ripping the audio, etc etc. You could get somewhere with those techniques but if you really want quality. Then you'd go for NicoSound. It's one of my observations that NicoSound quality > Youtube-to-Mp3 Converter quality. And it's less of a hassle too. smile . So do you want to know how to DL from Nicosound? Okay. Let's start. :3
Step #1: Go to the youtube link of the song that you want. I'll use this one as an example.
初音ミク "miku miku ni shite ageru" みくみくにしてあげる♪
Step#2:Look at the details that the uploader puts up. Most of the times they also put the link of the niconico douga page they got the video from.
The only thing we need there is the endlines. The sm1142379
Step#3:
Now, take this URL
http://nicosound.anyap.info/sound/
and paste the endlines of the vid you want. In this case The sm1142379.
http://nicosound.anyap.info/sound/sm1142379
Another way of doing this would be googling Nico sound then the sm numbers.
Step #5
Now that you're at nicosound, confirm if that is the song you want to download then scroll down a bit.
And click here.
Then download <3.

You don't know how much time it saved me (well, I wasn't really downloading music at first). There are soo many songs I wanted to have on my ipod. XD

Haha. Just found out about this two days ago myself. I've been sitting, downloading songs for the past 48 hours, seriously. Voc@loids make my world go round. (:
Also, I just wanted to inform most people that downloading (most of) these songs isn't illegal at all. Since almost non of those songs are licensed outside of Japan, one does not have to worry. Although as soon as you notice they get licensed where you live, I recommend you stop downloading them, and buy the original instead. xd

Well, the once that are licensed are, just like you said, the ones you can get a hold of without having to actually go to Japan. (Such as the ones from iTunes Store)
