Happy St. Patrick's Day all! March 2009
This is it. Finally, at long last, here it is: The first official newsletter. I've had one hell of a time getting it here too. My computer's come down with too many viruses to count, I've had schoolwork out the wazoo, and I've just flat out been too lazy. Now, although there's obviously not too much to talk about yet, I have a surprising ammount to say.
Priority One: Advertising. I cannot stress enough how few members we have. Sooner (or probably later...) I'll get around to making a banner, but for now word of mouth must suffice.
Number Two: A FictionPress Account. I'm working on it. I'll post a link as soon as it's up. As an addition to this, I need to make a guild e-mail account, on something other than hotmail. Suggestions are welcomed and will be treated with care.
Number Three: Challenges. Start checking. march will be up by the end of the week. I'll sticky the rules and regulations so everyone stays on the same page.
Number Four: If you would pm me a working e-mail adress, I'll begin e-mailing challenges out. Bear with me, I'm making this up as I go.
Number Five: Libraries. Make yours. Today. Otherwise concerning the guild: Sheck the stickies, I've added information and will continue to do so. If I've left anything important out, give me a ring.
That should be all for now. I'll make an updates thread for important news between the newsletters and a Comments and Concerns thread for , well... Comments and Concerns.

Wewt wewt! Summertime! June 2009
Howdy all. So summers here and Mother's gotten her Gaia back. You know what that means: Another challenge.
I'm thinking this time, I'll switch it up a little. Excited? I am.
Not much to say this time, except- spread the word! Tell people about our lovely writing guild. We want good writers.
Among other news, in the Libraries section we now have a Beta thread, so if your looking for constructive criticism, or a full time editor, that's the place to post.
Also, for those of you bums who don't check the sub-forums, the Dictionary is now up and ready to house RP's.
Have fun and play nicely children.
Sincerely yours, Mother Evermore

September 2009
Whoo boy! The Summer Boogaloo was a relative sucess, thank you to all who participated. The results will be out in a matter of days and the Panda's will be voted on and distributed.
Now, as those of you who actually bother to check the newsletters have undoubtably noticed, I was a lazy bum this summer and I didn't update because nothing new happened.
Unfotunately (for me that is), recently a great deal of "stuff" has happened, and so the newsletter must be revived once again.
The first, and most obvious point is that school is back in session. Now, for those of us who are online 24/7 (not me sweatdrop ), this heavily cuts back on Gaia time. It also means that Evermore will be regressing to last years hours- very late at night. So if you need to contact me, please go through the crew or expect a short wait.
Secondly, and easily the coolest topic on the agenda, we have new members! A warm welcome to sjneal, Saphirianna, and Nishio Nagataki. I'm honored that you would choose to explore our tiny corner of cyberspace, even if it does mean that I'll need to get my act back together.
On that note, if you care to peruse the guild, you'll see that I've made some changes/ Most notable would be the addition of the University subforum and subsequent re-naming and re-organizing of the other two. The University is aimed specifically at out new members, but also to old hands that haven't gotten involved yet. It details the process of being a member of the Ink Well, a sience I myself am still experimenting with.
The Ink Well itself is an ever changing domian mostly because I'm fairly new to this guild managing business. That would be where we reach the promotions section of this newsletter. Please welcome Francis Wolf as your new Vice-Captain. He is a self procalimed Not-Much-of-a-Writer, but he's extremely organized and I'm extremely scatterbrained, so hopefully he'll keep me relatively on track.
As for changes within the Ink Well itself, those will be new and exciting. The points system didn't get as many people as excited as I'd hoped it would, so I'm instituting another chance to play for keeps. On the cover page of each of your libraries (as well as on the first page of the soon-to-be library homepage) each member will keep track of their points. I need to refine my original system, which was woefully confusing, so that's coming soon. Besides that, if there's any interest, I'm toying with the idea of changing the library system so that each member would donate gold to buy a subforum to serve as their mibrary. That way, members could comment on each topic-story without wrecking somone's current library topic. It's just an idea, but drop me a line if you like it.
Beyond that, you'll each be getting an e-mail from me reminding you that a new month has started and the new challenge is up. Not everyone has to submit a piece, but we'd sure appreciate it.
Don't forget to vote for the Panda's!
Peace, love and chocolate chip cookies, Mother Evermore

October 2009 (could I be much later with this?)
Promotions: dzd, should she choose to accept will become a vice-captain, in charge of the writing areas when I am unavaiable. (2 more promotions may be pending. Please check back)
Additions: Please welcome sastormystep13, St. Sexy, xxChelseaDarling, Tragedi Snow, bratpro and pwntishness to the Ink Well Family. I hope we see a lot of them in the future!
News: Libraries: As many of you have noticed, there's been a slight change in the way libraries work in the Ink Well. If you feel you write enough to use and abuse your very own subforum, simply dontate the funds (2500 for a subforum) and PM me the name of your desired library. Then your shiny new subforum is your to post in. Old libraries will be kept for those who don't want libraries, as well as for use as archives of written work.
Points: Check the University Subforum for more information on the new points system.
Contests: Sometime this month( hopefully rolleyes ) I will be putting up the Ink Well's second official contest. Unlike the Summer Boogaloo, there will be more than just points up for grabs. Correspondongly, I may be adding as many as two new sub forums, and certianly one, for Contsets and Lyrics.
Hope to see you around, Evermore

December 2009,
Sorry for skipping November, I was already hard at work on my NaNoWriMo novel (which, by the way, I didn't finish). I'll be moving on to NaNoFiMo this month.
In other news, the December Challenge will be up as soon as I get home. Bye for now folks.
*Edit* Okay, crisis averted, home I am. I don't have much new to report for December except, since i dobut anyone else is going to vote, the Pandas will be finalized and prizes (or bragging rights) distributed. We're always on the look out for new members, so keep inviting people. Only the absolutely illiterate will be turned away.
The December Challenge goes up today. Due date it Jan. 6th. Best of luck, Ink Wellians.
With Love, Evermore

February 2010, Thanks to all of you who competed in the Jan. challenge. The Feb. challenge will go up either tonight or tomorrow and will be due on March 10. In other news, we have several new members and still a profound lack of contributors. So if you ever bother to check this thread, put up some work. I'm so happy to see new people joining still and I can't wait to see the pieces you guys turn out. Peace, Love and Kit Kat Bars, Mother Evermore
