Mikaio was in the sitting room, crouched amongst his blocks, with a cookie in one hand, and a crayon in the other. He was trying very hard to multitask, but was having a hard time with it. It didn't help that his hands were all sticky from the jelly he'd had. He dropped the crayon, and picked up a block.
Barron was sitting on one of the couches, with his ankles crossed, and a magazine open on his lap. He was trying to keep himself awake, so he could watch Mik. Carlos wasn't here to do it for him, so he wasn't allowed to nap.

Samantha walked into the clinic with Moloch on her left hip and the girl's older sister Winona walking beside her. The Bison child's hooves clicked softly on the floor as she walked. Moloch wriggled in her mother's grasp, the small troll girl didn't want to be held she wanted to play, well as much as any baby wanted to anyways. Spotting someone who looked fun playing with toys on the floor she waved her arms trying to get his attention and annoy her mother enough to convince her to put her down. ( winona )

Mikaio looked up, just as he took a bite of his cookie, and his eyes lit up. Someone to play with! He grinned, and waved eagerly, "Hi!" Barron blinked and looked up. Hi? Who was he--oh. He looked to the small group that just entered, smiling slightly, and nodded in greeting, before going back to his magazine. He held it up, to hide the fact that he was glancing every so often. That was an interesting kid. Mikaio hopped up, turning to face them, waiting patiently for the woman to release his potential playmate, taking another bite of the cookie.

Winona's tail swished and she trotted a few feet closer to check out a boy who looked to be about her age " Hi I'm Winona she said calmly extending a hand filled with flexible hard coated fingers." The girl nodded over her shoulder to the baby being placed down beside her " That's Moloch she doesn't really talk yet." the bison child explained.
The troll girl smiled deviously as she was set down and allowed to crawl towards towards the strangers.

"I'm Mik," he said, beaming, then looked at her hand, blinking, and put the cookie into it. He didn't know about handshakes yet. He craned his neck to look at Moloch and smiled, "Hi, Moloch!" This was great, he was getting so bored on his own. He moved to pick up two of his dolls, "Do you want to play with me? This is Keilin, and this is Tera." he said, holding up one, then the other. "They make people dance."

The young bison child stared at the cookie in her hand a moment before popping it into her mouth all in one go and smiling at Mik, he gave her food and Winona liked him already. Soft brown eyes stared curiously at the dolls " How do they work? " She asked.
Moloch crawled forward so she was besides her sister and then let her own gaze move to the dolls the boy held, those looked fun and she reached out greedily for one.

"Um," he looked at them, frowning, "I dunno," he smiled, "I do this," he made them dance, "And sometimes other people copy them." He giggled, "And then they started yelling, like 'Aaah'," he waved his arms a bit, "'Whats happeniiiiing!'" He started laughing. The he looked at Moloch and smiled, giving her the doll.

Moloch's green eyes widened with pleasure as she clutched the toy in her hand. The girl's tail wagged as well a clear sign that while the troll girl was likely still dangerous she was for the moment at least content. She held the doll carefully and waved it around like Mik had been doing previously " aaah"
Winona laughed both at the antics of her younger sibling and the boy she'd just met." They have to be magic dolls." The girl still didn't fully understand magic but that was ok becuase magic explained everything that was unexplainable so it made sense that no one understood it.

"Whats magic?" Mik asked, frowning in a confused way. His father was human, and didn't have the slightest inkling about what magic really was, other than what he'd read in fantasy novels. And he certainly hadn't ever thought to tell Mikaio about it. Mik held onto his doll with both hands, looking at it curiously. "Is magic good?"

The bison girl scratched at the base of her horns as she tried to figure out how to explain magic. " It's this stuff that makes things happen and sometimes you can see it becuase it makes things shiny colours but sometimes you can. Your dolls must have invisible magic."
This was in Winona's mind pretty dark cool, to have dolls that made people do things. If she had magic dolls she use them to make her mom and uncle charlie take her out for food all the time. Well they'd play crazy eights and stuff too but they liked doing that and didn't like taking her out for treats as much so she'd have to use magic for that.
Moloch had no clue what the two older children were talking about and the infant was more than content to merely glance at them from time to time while she played with the doll.
Samantha watched the children play and leaned quietly against a wall , the woman had a feeling the other adult had no desire to talk at the moment.
