I've done the minus world glitch before lol. The best one in 64 is the backwards long jump one. Another good one is in Sunshine where you walk under the water. I know a couple in galaxy too.

I stumbled upon this one in SM64DS... That one stage with the monkey cage.
It involved the pond, the teleport spot, and then resulting in swimming through the entire stage, all the way to the top. I don't remember specifics.

I love the old NES cartridge for duck hunt and mario, if you hit select and the up button at the same time, you can play mario with duck hunt in the background, its really cool.

My glitch is lame...
Running above the level in just about any underground stage in the original Mario. My sister and I found that, and we were so excited :p (Keep in mind that this was before internetz kiddies)

Once I was playing Sunshine, and I went to jump on top of the building where you exchange blue coins for shines, and I somehow went through the area where the roof and the wall connects, and kept falling, until I landed on this clear floor.
I move the camera around to see that I'm standing right outside the building, now only all the ground and buildings are absolutely transparent.
All the character models, and the water was still visual, but all the buildings were gone.
I could walk through them too.
So it was nothing but Peach (very start of the game) Toads, and other characters all hovering about the water.
I wish I could have taken pictures, but I had no camera.
I've never been able to do this again sadly, even when I try to.
