Tvinna swatted at the ice slushes floating down the river from further upstream. The cool water ran between and all around her fingers, a new sensation for one used to having paws. Her tail flicked once as she put a finger to her mouth and sniffed it, then licked it, then stared at it. Yep. They're real.

((How long has it been? Since he saw her?))  Godric was out looking for something to do, by himself. Well, at least away from all the new little ones around his house. As if his family was big enough they went and made it bigger. Godric shook his head as he found his way to the river.

Tvinna ran her finger through the water again, this time touching the ice. It was cold to the touch and made her skin tingle. Yep. Still real. She looked to either side and was suprised to something orange, and heading this way. She squinted her eyes together to try and get a better look, before bursting out in a wide grin. She waved her hand and yelled at him. "Hey Godric!"

Godric looked to the water when he heard his name being called. He shook his head for a moment as he thought it was Tvinna, but this was a anthro. It couldn't be her, could it?
"Hello?" Godric said as he walked towards her.

Tvinna stood up and gave him a giant hug as he got closer. "It's been forever since I saw you!" She giggled. "You haven't changed a bit!"

"Tvinna?" Godric asked as he was hugged. It had to be her. No one else he knew looked anything like this. "You...you...are very beautiful." He managed to say. Godric wanted to say more, but that was about all he could manage.

Tvinna winked as she released the hug. "The one and only!" She smiled and blushed lightly. "Thank you!" She twirled around once in a complete 360 before looking at him again. "Isn't it strange?"

"Yes... I mean no...I mean yes." Godric really was at a lose for words. He'd never seen an anthro before and he knew her as a non anthro so it was just odd. Not that he didn't think anthrohood looked wonderful on her. Again he liked her before as well.

Tvinna laughed as Godric stuttered, and gave him a slight bop on the head. "Make up your mind." She playfully said with a wink. She stretched her arms as she sat down next to him, and put her feet in the cool, winter water. "So, what's new with you?"

"Well, okay it's strange but in a good way." Godric sighed as that wasn't a very good save, but he tried. "Oh, well nothing. Just been away from my growing family. Too many there now." he chuckled. He loved them and all, but being with many others always made him feel a bit off.

Tvinna blinked with a face of curiosity. "Really? Sounds like fun to me." She sighed and bent forward before looking up at the sky with a peaceful gaze. "What I'd give to have a family of my very own."

Godric frowned. He didn't mean to make her feel sad. "You can be a part of mine." Sure he said it was too big, but he didn't mean for Tvinna. He smiled up at her and nodded.

Tvinna looked at Godric, her cheeks now tinged with pink. "R-really? You mean it?" She asked. Having a family that she could call hers would make her the happiest in the world. It would mean she wouldn't have to spend the nights alone anymore. It would be like that adventure the two of them had gone on, where there was always fun and good feelings.

Godric nodded and smiled up at her. "Of course. I'd love for you to be my family." He meant it. Sure he had a blood family, but he wanted her to be with him too. She was the best friend he had had and he loved being with. This made him blush as well.

A smile spread across Tvinna's face, and she leaned over to hug him. There was nothing else that he could have offered that would have made her any happier. "Thank you," she whispered into his ear.
