Alrighty, I have an idea for a RP. It takes place in the Megaman Battle Network world. Net-navis have become obsolete, and it is 100 years after Lan Hikari's time. Megaman and those like him exist in 'shrines' in their respected families homes. Like ancestor worship, except these ancestors can communicate with their homes through the PET which is an outdated technology and no longer functions the way it was intended. Now the new generation uses Synchros, like a navi that fuses with their owners(like that cross fusion thing from the anime). You can use any character/villain from the megaman/megaman X games to make your character's Synchro, you can also access most of the characters from the MMBN series as 'ancestors(with the exception of Lan and Mayl). Their Synchros have their own personality, but have to synch-up to battle each other(means that you cross fuse) you can also surf the net by doing a reverse-synch which lets you fuse into your Synchro instead of it fusing into you(effects are the same, just different worlds). You can also use Netnavi names from the old games/anime, but they have to be different from the original Navi. You can't just use Flameman, and say that he has been handed down for years or something. And the original MUST be intact, lets face facts over a hundred years some Navis and PETs are going to have been lost.

(I pretty much am going to ignore the MM-Starforce thing for this, I know it takes place 200 years after MMBN supposedly but...)) I need two people to play premade characters. Lan's descendant a boy whose Synchro is named Zero(like the MMX game Zero) and someone to play Dex's descendant a girl whose Synchro is named Gutsgirl. My character of course is going to be X.

X is a Navi Prototype, that existed before the MMBN thing. He was created as an emotion and thought program, but deemed too unpredictable and downloaded onto a disc that was lost for a long time... Until now. One of Lan Hikari's descendants has a secret. He is trying to develope an android that blends in completely with society as a whole. An android that has all the physical traights of a human heartbeat, warmth, etc. The problem is he cannot design it with a heart, with a soul all of his attempts have ended in disaster. But he found something unusual. A disc with 'Personality Type: X' printed on it, after carefully scanning the data on it and finding no default he thought, 'what the heck...' and uploaded it into his android...

OH! And I should mention that you don't use battle chips anymore. Instead you load a file based on data you have collected of weapon types, load them onto your synchro device(like a computer the size of a watch) that is around your wrist and the 'chips' are loaded randomly into it, they appear on a screen of energy, you choose them and WAM your ready for battle.

Technology continued to evolve, cars now require no energy, other then the sun, and hover as a mode of transportation. The subways are now Mag lines. Still called the Metrorail, despite the lack of rails involved, just a big mag powered tunnel. there is no need for screens computers and everything now have a solid energy display instead. Most chores can be done by machines, and personal robots abound. Though they look somewhat human they are still obviously machines. They lack emotions for the most part, though they can be programed to feel some, but not the same as a human can.

So in recap:
PETs are only for contacting with the Navi's of your ancestor(Ex. Megaman's PET is at Byte's house)
Battle Chips are now loaded into a Folder Chip from your PC at home, and it is random on what you get(like the games)
NetNavis are extinct, and have been replaced with Synchros, who cannot interact with the Real world or the Cyberworld without synchronizing with their operator.

Personality: A man who spends alot of his time in the wilderness. He loves trees and growing things so much that he often goes out of his way to protect them. Unlike his Synchro he is usually very outgoing and not shy at all, though there are some circumstances that lead to people seeing the similarities.
Description: Large, hairy and very friendly with a plaid shirt and well worn heavy pants. Has a full beard that sticks out at odd angles.

Personality: Like his Opp. Lumberman is very fond of trees. He is very shy and rarely speaks outside of synchronisation. Very clumbsy and not at all known for his grace.
Description: Large and covered in bark he has a small log as his shoulder then another for his upper arm and a third more massive one for his forearm. He has two short stubby legs, so cannot move quickly or gracefully.

Personality: Quiet and withdrawn. The world is very new to him so he is extremely curios. He often makes mistakes when it comes to what is socially exceptable. Sometimes overly serious he does not yet understand humor, but he is unquestionably loyal to the professor, and any who he becomes friends with.
Description: Average height for his age group, with short silver hair. He tends to dress in black and blue. Never seems to be happy, and usually wears an emotionless face. After becoming conscious he is adopted by Dr. Hikari and introduced as 'his long lost son.'
Synchro: N/A: Goes by Megaman X in this form

Hair: Hair becomes black in 'Synchronization'

Personality: Unlike other Opperators, Ex is his own Synchro, he merely fuses with the data from when he was a Navi program
Description: Dressed in blue and white armor, with a red visor in 'battle mode'. There are dark blue lines and light blue orbs on his armor. His Mega Buster has a barrel that's width can be changed, giving him the ability to alter his attack pattern to maximum accuracy or maximum force.

Personality:
Description: A little more then average height for his age group, with sort of longer hair. He has an easy smile and people tend to warm up to him quickly. Somewhat headstrong he has been known to jump in without thinking. Dresses in red and black clothes, and wears a red and white bandanna, as well as a matching jacket.

Personality: While usually the polar opposite of the headstrong Byte, Zero has displayed his support of his operator's actions more times then not. He was built by Byte's father and uncle working in concert, and as such tends to lecture Byte on his more idiotic tendencies. Honors and revers Megaman, who resides in Byte's home.
Description: Dressed in red and white samurai styled armor, with a green visor over his eyes. He has a few white lines on the black unarmored portion of his suit, as well as a few green crystal like areas on the armored portions.

Personality: Conifdent in his abilities both as a commander of the Neo Netforce and a synchrobattler. He has something about him that makes him easy to trust and displays a tendency for sometimes goofy behavior, much to the displeasure of his aide. He has a reputation for being both fair and kind, but serious when the situation calls for it.
Description: Tall and lean, he has the build of an athlete despite working behind a desk most of the time. Wheres alot of light colored clothing, with a long sleeved black shirt underneath.

Personality: Crossman is overly serious at all times, and has been known to never smile. He is a Synchro with the ability to sense synchros with the Dark Element. It is said that he was developed by a secret sector of the government.
Description: A tall dark Synchro with a long armored coat. He has a massive crosse on his back and two smaller ones on his hips inside his coat. His black armor and clothing are covered with armored gold crosses. Even his hat.
