Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustled the flat grassland arena, sending small clouds of harmless pollen into the air. The land is completely flat, making manuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS type attacks

Lixue entered the grassy field and stretched her arms up towards the sky. This was a good day for a battle, she thought to herself with a small smile upon her lips. Today was the day that she would battle for the first time with her new friend and new pokemon. And against one of her own pokemon! It would be rather interesting to see Scout from this side of the field.
Finally she had enough of stretched and snatched a pokeball from her belt and made it extend in size. She pulled her arm back and then threw the pokeball high into the air.
"GO! Yoake!" she cried as a red beam of light shot out, sending the pokeball back and leaving a beautiful female ninetales on the field.
"Nine!" the ninetales named Yoake called out. She was ready to get started as she took a defensive posture waiting for the battle to start and to hear her new trainer's first command.
Lixue had snatched the pokeball from the air with a "yeah!". She was pumped for a battle after taking such a long time off.

Jacqui smiled at her friend Lixue from across the field. This was only her second battle ever and once again she was borrowing a Pokemon. She didn’t mind, but the idea of battling with someone else’s companion still felt strange to her. Taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly, she threw the pokeball she’d been given onto the field, “Go Scout!”
A beam of red light shot out of the pokeball, revealing a rather handsome and yet very serious looking Weavile behind.
“Weavile… wea?” Scout looked back at Jacqui with a confused frown.
Jacqui waved nervously at Scout, “Hey there Scout, ready for a good battle?”
Scout sensed that she was nervous and rolled his eyes, shrugging at her question and turning back to face his opponent/friend, “Wea-vile” he grumbled, slightly frustrated that this strange trainer was going to be giving him orders.

Lixue smiled back at her friend and gave a slight wave. She then smirked at Scout and shouted, "Deal with it Scout!". She gave a melodious laugh and then turned serious. "Okay Yoake it's battle time!"
Yoake growled, "Ninetales nine!"
Lixue took in a deep breath and decided to start off with something decent. "Alright Yoake! Flamethrower!"
Yoake bounded happily over onto the field more. In a showy fashion she called for a deep burning fire and then shot a flamethrower attack across the field towards Scout.

Scout frowned at his trainer, how dare she set this up without telling him first? “Wea…” he was still grumbling as Yoake started her attack. Scout tried his best to dodge the flames but they still managed to hit him in the tail, “WEAVILE!”
Jacqui gasped, “Goodness! You ok Scout? Hmm, Lets try Metal Claw!”
Scout shook himself, and held up a paw, his claws shone brightly, becoming as strong as steel. He rushed towards Yoake, slashing at her violently.

Yoake had a gleeful gleam in her eye as she set Scout's tail on fire. Though now there was also grass on fire. But suddenly Scout came shooting at her with gleaming claws of steel and she bounded backwards as fast as she could only to get caught up side the head. "NINE!" she cried out. She regained her position once the attack let up.
Lixue wasn't worried about Yoake just yet. The battle had just begun. "Alright Yoake! Double Team!"
Yoake shook her head and then growled as she sped across the field back towards Scout. She dodged randomly around the weavile and appeared as if he was surround by more than just one ninetales but six!

Scout couldn’t tell where Yoake was coming from, he looked around him frantically at the six Ninetales, completely distracted and unable to avoid the attack, “Wea? …weaVILE!”
“Not your fault Scout, now let’s try Blizzard!”
Scout nodded once, a determined look on his face as he summoned shards of ice and snow from behind him, which flew at Yoake unmercifully.

Yoake watched as Scout became more and more confused and then trying to blizzard her out. The attack shot in front of her knocking a decoy out and exposing her.
"Get him with Ember!" Lixue called to her ninetales from where she stood.
Yoake turned on Scout quickly and sent out a medium size flame towards the weavile hoping to burn him again with its heat. The surrounding grass becoming charred under it's hot touch.

Scout did his best to avoid the flame, not wanting to get singed again like last time. He tried to hop out of the way, but the flames hit him in the leg, “WEAVILE!” he patted out the flames with his claws, and growled, turning back to his opponent with an enraged stare.
Jacqui didn’t like how this battle was going, but she sighed, relieved that Scout was still willing to fight after his second burn, “Ok Scout, Fury Swipes!”
Without thinking, Scout rushed at Yoake, swiping madly at her with both sets of claws.

Yoake took off, bounding away and just out of reach of Scout's flailing claws.
Lixue was feeling that Scout just wasn't able to hold is own on the battle field. Watching him from this end was almost painful as he tried to hold up against Yoake's fierce attacks. Sighing she yelled, "Alright Yoake...body slam!"
Yoake suddenly lunged forward towards Scout throwing all her weight at him.

Scout growled. This battle wasn’t going well at all. While he sat there sulking, he wasn’t paying a lot of attention to Yoake, and was knocked to the ground at she threw herself at him.
Jacqui cringed, “Scout, you’re ok, you’re doing alright” she wanted to stay supportive, but she knew his chances of winning now were very slim “Try Metal Claw again!”
Scout’s eyes flashed as his claws glistened. He was going to enjoy this if it actually made contact. He ran at Yoake, and swiped at her face.

Yoake felt one of the claws catch up side her face and she growled fiercely at him.
"Alright Yoake! Ember!" Lixue cried out from where she stood. She really got into these battles a bit too much but that's because she liked competition.
Yoake jumped back away from Scout and reared back shooting several balls of fire at him. They shot across the field burning even more grass when their heat. But this attack seemed a bit different.

Scout smirked at the damage he had done to Yoake’s face, rather hoping it might leave an impressive scar. He watched Yoake very carefully as she attacked. Managing to dodge all the flames perfectly this time.
“Great job Scout! Now let’s try Blizzard again!”
Scout stared at Yoake the smirk still plastered on his face, as snow and pieces of ice flew at her from behind him.

Yoake was blow clear off her feet as the blizzard attack slammed into her. "NINE!"
Lixue watched with slight horror as her ninetales practically flew off the field. "Get up Yoake! You can do this! Flamethrower now!"
Yoake got up slowly to her feet. Her teeth bared as her light blue eyes bore into Scout. Quickly she reared up and belched out another flamethrower. Hurling the balls of fire quickly across the field towards the weavile. Hoping to do damage again.
