Well. Hey there *waves* I don't know - here's some of my. . . Random Art. Comments are much appreciated! ^_^
I'm planning to make a career out of art, so I'm going to need to improve my skills! (I know I'm nowhere near being great u_u)

So I'll be posting art in the next post, describing it, the time taken to create it, and the medium. Thank you very much ^__^

One of the hardest things for people to do is critique, not criticize. I got slaughtered during "critique" in my art school. I tried to do something edgy and artsy fartsy and got crapped on for it. Ever since then I have been very careful about my wordiness.

This is one of her pics she did last night for my GF. We RPed in towns and then this picture was spawned out of it. My GF's character, Masamune - the spirit from within the blade - got killed by Aerith after killing Aerith's puppy and being run through with her umbrella. She banged this image out pretty damned fast, all things considered. Check the Final Fantasy: Final Mix RP for more info on the character before people go "Sephiroth isn't a chick!" lol

Done with colored pencils. About two hours I think? Something like that @_@; I was hyper >w<

Aerith is upset her puppy is dead but feels better now that its murderer has been punished. razz

Oil Pastels and Charcol. Took me about an hour to do if I remember right, including the sketch time.
Done for the art contest which was held a while back. I don't know what I was thinking really except the fact that he's a chocobo head and I had played through the part where Tifa says that to Cloud. >.>

Oil Pastels and charcol again. This one was done the day after I did Chocobo Love and it was for a friend of mine. This one only took about a half an hour to do. She loves chocobos so I decided to draw her one kind of quickly. Yeah - did it an hour or so before her party. Great friend I am ._.
And yes - I wanted the chocobo to glow because it's a gold one.

Medium: Digital paint brush (Paint Shop Pro 9)
Gawd! This thing took me forever to color. Mainly because it is so BIG when it's not resized like it is. @_@ And then stupid me wanted to color it with a brush that was like 10 pixels large. Go me being stupid!
But yeah - I kind of like it with the way it came out. >.<

Medium: Colored pencils and pen on cardstock
This one took me about an hour to do because of the lettering on the back. Took me a good time to get the lettering just right. The horn wasn't too big of a issue. Just getting those (#*%& letters right was the main challenge. It's a bookmark if you couldn't tell by the title...
