 Thato lazily walked through the tall grass that surrounded him, away from THAT pride for the time being. But he knew he would have to return, even if he was an adult now he still lived in fear of his king. But other then the fear that took over him, it wasn't the only reason he would return. He was out on a mission of sorts, by that leopard female that was always by the queen's side.
But this wasn't like many of the other things they asked him to do, he was outside of the lands flower picking! Why him? Couldn't someone else do this? But he never asked those questions aloud, instead he agreed to it. And now here he is, nearing the huge field of flowers he was told to go. But as he lowered his head down to start picking a few, he noticed something within the field.

 Pari's head popped out of the bit of flowers she had been laying in, and around. To see a new lion in the area, a blue lion at that. The last time she seen any lions with any bit of blue on them was the last time she ran into Raj. And that had been some time ago, she was wondering how he was doing. But at the same time wondering what this new blue lion was up too. Did he like flowers too, or was there another reason to why he was picky the lovely flowers that grew in this field. “Hey you!” She stupidly shouted out to the male lion. “Do you like flowers too, or are you out to pick flowers for someone you like!” She teased, not even knowing this lion. Or how he would even react to her words, but she didn't care. As she happily sat in the flowers with her only daughter by her side

 "Mom!" Kamili whined. As her mother stupidly got that male's attention, and by what her mother had said. She expected for the male to get mad at her. But so far he seems to not be attacking which was good, but she did not trust him one bit. She didn't trust any males really, besides her father, and Raj. But she barely sees either of them anymore, it's just been her and her mother. And even if she's extremely different from her mother, and doesn't care for flowers like she does. She cares greatly for her, and doesn't want anyone to hurt her. So she put it upon herself to protect her mother anyway she possibly could, even if she was small.

Thato was surprised to see not one but two lions in the field before him, and even more surprised by what the older lioness had said to him. She didn't know him, yet she could openly say things like to him. And tease him, he wasn't sure how exactly to even respond to her. So she just stood there in shock, until her heard the younger lion speak up. So this adult lion was it's mother, but still she should be watching what she says to strangers. “T-they aren't for me, or for someone I like. As I have no one to like as of yet, I'm out doing a simple errand. And said errand was to pick these flowers, for the queen of a pride i'm in.” He truthfully answered, in hopes of just picking the flowers and getting on with his simple task.

“You! Don't talk to my momma! You aren't allowed to talk to her at all!” Kamili hissed at the blue lion. She still did not know him, but she already judged him. Just because he was male, left him no chance in becoming anyway what so ever friendly with her. It'll just never happen in this life, her general dislike for males still stood strong.

Pari was shocked with the words that came from her daughters mouth, being so rude to him. Even though he really didn't do anything in her eyes that needed to be yelled at like that. Why doesn't she want him talking to me? She pondered. It wasn't like her to act like this, was there something wrong with her? “I'm sorry about her!” She shouted to the blue lion. “She doesn't usually act like this” With that said to not anger the lion, her attention quickly shifted to her daughter.
“Kamili, why did you yell at him?” She questioned. “And tell me why you don't want him to talk to me?” She demanded, impatiently waiting for an answer. Ignoring the blue lion who's name she doesn't know completely.

Thato didn't expect the younger female to yell at him like she did. Though he was used to getting yelled at by some, but now from a complete stranger who already hates him? And one who seems to be a bit over protective on their mother. “Don't worry, it's okay. No harm was done!” He answered back, even though her attention was at her daughter. He could use this time to get the flowers, and just leave things at what they are. But for some reason he couldn't pull himself to leave this area.

Kamili ignored her mother's words when she heard the male speak to her again. “I said don't talk to her!” She hissed. She then pulled herself onto her feet, standing tall. For as small as she was in all, but she stood strong. Even though she wasn't that strong at all, and he was much bigger then she was.

It made Pari angry when her own daughter continued to ignore her words, and continue to yell at the male. And this wasn't like Pari at all, but when Kamili stood up. Something in her snapped, she quickly pulled herself up, and turned to her daughter. “You better stop this right now!” She demanded. Her daughters actions were foolish, threatening an adult male. Who's attitude towards the whole situation was unknown. It was a miracle that he hadn't done anything to them yet, for how he was being treated.

Now was the time Thato actually wished he did run when he had the chance, but his feet still wouldn't move. But why? He didn't understand this at all, why wont they move? But he wouldn't let it show, it would be rather embarrassing if another knew you were unable to move them. So instead he tried to play it of, and acted as if he was purposely staying there with them. But for some odd reason his brain wouldn't except that, and thus started to speak. “I should just go..” He quietly said, even though it was loud enough for both girls to hear.

Kamili wasn't too happy when her mother yelled at her, she could tell that she made her upset. But her dislike for this male was still there, but her love for her mother was stronger at the time. “Yeah, you should go” She mumbled under her breath, and laid back down. To avoid getting into anymore trouble with her mother then what she already was in.

Pari didn't hear what her daughter mumbled, but she did glare out Kamili for a moment. Until she laid back down that is, her attention then shifted back to the blue lion. “You don't have to leave just because of us!” She said with a smile. “And again I'm sorry for all of this. Oh, and by the way my name is Pari.”

“Ah, my name is Thato!” He started. “And I really must go, they are probably waiting for me to return with these flowers.” He said as he took a step forward finally. He then lowered his head down, and picked a few flowers. With part of his task done, the only thing left now was to actually deliver them to his queen. “It's was a pleasure meeting you, and hopefully one day we can meet again.” He said through the flowers in his mouth. And then finally turned, and started to walk away.

Kamili was pleased to hear that hear him say that he actually had to go, but not when he hoped to meet her mother again. She hoped such an encounter would never happen, and that he will stay as far away from her as possible. But Kamili knew she wouldn't always be near her mom to prevent this from actually happening. Which upset her greatly, but she kept quiet and watched the male as he started to leave.

Pari was rather sad to see Thato leaving, they barely even got a chance to get to know one another. But she did hope they would one day meet again, she wanted to get to know this blue lion more. “I hope we do!” She yelled to him, as he left. And with that said, and him now slowly fading away from their view she laid back down next to her daughter and continued with what ever she was doing before he came.
