What if the lynch mob in Chapt. 7 that came for Doris, hadn't come when they did? What do you think would have happened between D and Doris? Here's your chance to correct the chapter in how it could have played out. Please keep the character's personalities as authentic as possible. And also please avoid getting too X-Rated in wording if you decide to take it into a more adult nature. If you decide you rather not try and complete the scenario, then go ahead and at least give your opinion on what you think would have happened? Chatting is always welcomed. Let's have fun though! The bedroom door opened, and Doris stepped out. A threadbare bath towel covered her from her breasts to her thighs. Crossing the living room without a sound, she stood before the sofa. Her ample bosom was heaving. Taking two deep breaths, Doris let the towel fall. Unmoving, unblinking, D fixed his eyes on the girl's naked form. Her well-proportioned and slightly muscled body wasn't yet endowed with a woman's sensuality, but it had more than enough of the pale virgin charm that always took men's breath away.
"D..." Doris' voice caught in her throat.
"I haven't finished my work here."
"I'll pay you in advance. Take it..."
Before he could even speak, her warm flesh was on top of him and her sweet breath was tickling his nose.
"Hey, I'm..."
"The Count's gonna come again," Doris panted. "And this time it's gonna get settled-- at least, that's the feeling I get. I probably won't get a chance to give you your reward--so take me, suck my blood, do whatever you like to me."
D's hand brushed the girl's lengthy tresses aside, exposing the face they'd hidden to the night air. Their lips met. (continue here but try not to go into the 8th chapter?)

My Opinion is that D and Doris would try but in the attempt D would find that he is unable to, because of his nagging blood lust and vampiric tendencies. Doris at this point wouldn't mind but he will ultimately avoid it. He's really not able to avoid biting a woman he likes. Even his left hand told him this horrible truth once. For a Vampire the bite, and the blood transfer is a form of sexual contact. The more passionate a vampire/dhampir feels for their partner, the more fierce they may become in the act of love making. Like a male wild cat who bites the neck of the female while mating. It's the passion that brings out this violence. To vampires it's pure ecstasy, but to humans it means possible death. But that doesn't mean that all Vampires would bite their partners. There are many Vampire males who can will themselves to avoid biting the human lover. But I think those males only lusted for sex and weren't overwhelmed with passion or love. But thats just my take on it, try out your own ideas and just have fun! 3nodding

The fluttering nervousness deep within Doris faded and was replaced by warmth. D's lips slowly released hers and Doris opened her eyes to see D staring deeply into her own. But what she saw just then was all the sadness of the world peering back, his fingers softly stroked along her left temple and slid delicately down her cheek bone as he continued to comb her lochs gently aside and brushed it over her shoulder. She had never seen anyone's face so sad in her life.
She stared timidly down into his face and sensing his reluctance she muttered passionately, "I love you!" And as determined as before she pressed her lips back onto his, letting out a more heated panting. He tried to resist for a fraction of a second but his lips soon fitted over hers once more.
They were lost in the moment, his right hand which was always kept open to be able to grab at his sword at any moment was now slipping around Doris' back, his hand sliding up to softly embrace her naked warm body on top of his.
His left hand he seemed to keep away from her completely. It was clenched tightly into a fist, pressed at the side of his left thigh. But she really didn't notice, as she became more impassioned and slid her hands up over his chest and around his shoulders. She could feel how well endowed his body really was; evident even through his suit.
The sensations experienced by both was almost hypnotic. D suddenly found himself trailing his lips down her chin and around her jaw line, and she tilted her head back with the pleasure as she was willing to give herself completely to his desire, even if it meant him drinking her blood. She opened her eyes and weakly stared out into the darkened room in a daze, moaning softly.
D's eyes were closed as his breathing became increasingly husky and as he was passionately kissing her neck and she was twisting her lower back like a lusty cat suddenly she heard a deep growl emanate from D. She was certain he was going to bite her but didn't care as she closed her eyes however before she realized it D had pushed her back off of him and she plopped awkwardly onto the sofa and in moments he was standing next to it facing away from Doris and straining to control himself and his almost fiendish breathing.
Doris was stunned and stared up at D's back ready to burst into tears as she said, "D, It's alright! I rather it was you." But without any reply D took up his travelers hat and sword and headed toward the door and as she watched him from behind with tears in her eyes his soft words could be heard saying, "I'm sorry."
Without another word he opened the door and step outside into the night leaving Doris and heading in the direction of the barn to sleep, haunted by what he was and what he almost did. A hoarse muffled laugh chuckled at his waist in the night.

I'm kind of torn. I mean on one hand he is D. I don't think that I need to say anymore than that to explain it but on the other hand he is still male! What straight guy would just let a pretty naked girl walk away from him? Then again he is D. That is the biggest disappointment. I don't think he would. But if they did it would quickly become mt favorite chapter!! mrgreen

Your first one was great, you really got the character out and it wasn't like those fanfics I read that always screw up D's character.

Goodness, you maybe on to something. Maybe that's why Count Magnus Lee told his daughter Larmica that Doris had the sweetest blood...ect..ect. When a girl ovulates her estrogen level goes up. And estrogen is very sweet. Sugar in the blood goes up, do to the hormone. So that could be why the Count was so determined to get a hold of Doris even during the "Moon of Woman" or the Moon of Blood. Even if he was forbidden to drink from her during that red moon, he wanted too so badly. 3nodding She probably would have become pregnant... hehe.
