I know that it's the sabbath, and few of you will read this until I've already come back, but wish me luck. Tomorrow I'm going on a trip back to the town that I lived in for eleven years; the town I posted about in the antisemitic awareness thread.
I feel like I have to go back there to confront some old ghosts.
I leave at 8:30 in the morning. I'll be armed with enough weaponry to keep myself safe, should anything happen.
Here's to hoping they don't even recognize me after five years.

I'm back. And I now have enough money to buy a new laptop (closed an old account back in the town's bank). No issues.
Things look like they got better. There's a new occult store, there were anti-war protesters, and the town was a bit more clean and repaired than before.

At what? Returning to known antisemetic places? I have to say though, that takes bravery and character. I hope you came away from it with something (like an antisemite's ear xd ).

That would be poetic for Haman, as would a nose for modern ones.

Just money. And a sense of satisfaction at having come through unscathed.

Behatzlacha-S At what? Returning to known antisemetic places? I have to say though, that takes bravery and character. It does? Huh. I thought it just took aging grandparents who were convinced that you should come see them every six months because it would be the very last time that they would be alive for you to visit. For, you know, the last 15 years.
