WWE announced the realease of Scotty Goldman (Colt Cabana) today. I'd expect he will show up after 90 days of TV restriction with either ROH or the NWA TV shows, or both. The NWA shows are being produced by Big Vision who also produced the WSX show for MTV where Scotty was Matt Classic, one of the characters created for that show that worked.

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Scotty Goldman (Scott Colton) as of February 20, 2009. WWE wishes Scott the best in all future endeavors.

Yes. I was released by WWE.
There's only two things that are on my mind right now.
1) Move back to Chicago
2) Go to England and Professionally Wrestle Johnny Saint

One can generally assume that if a guy leaves TNA or ROH to go to WWE he's ******** from the beginning. The only exception being Punk.
I hope he goes back to ROH.
